actually i kinda was forced into it, yea i was leveling up my brute and content, and then i get a tell saying they need more ppl for the event so it could start, i asked vixen what she wanted me on she said she needed dom's since they didn't have enough to even start the ITF. so i quit getting xp and logged on a Dom, and filled it up with lvl 50 IOs, no sense perma doming a brand new domi since i15 the domi is getting totally reworked. then i ran the 3 mish arc to enter the zone even and by the time i finally got there i was #6. so yea i could of said FU or something but i figured i'd be a team sport and give up leveling my new brute for a while so you guys could at least try the tf, u notice in the earlier threads i made no requests to join either side, i simply said if theres a fort team, i'm leading that.
So yea i join the team and gave it a valiant effort, even though the odds were completely stacked against the dom team.
so you got anything else to say? if so u can take this message as an implied FU, the answer i apparently should of given when asked to do it.

Um well I been on leave from coh because my best friend died and I don't feel like playing right now, I been working on the house anyways trying to get it ready to be sold and playing D20 games with hubby & our friends when we play, we are gonna start playing one soon in memory of our friend that passed away.

Wow now i feel like this is all my fault snice i got called into work and wasnt able to show... yes i would have kepy doms togther and we could have finished due to i know how to finish with doms...my bad i should have told my boss no i guess and did the tf but i kinda need the money for tires on my car SO in order not to offend anyone or start any more fighting on here i WILL NOT be posting any more tf or events on here...and Southern you arent helping no need to get the advice from someone that doesnt play or care about playing on guardian just cuz we have silly people. some times i wonder if everyone gets that this is a game and you can always lvl and get xp ANYTIME.. some time it is just fun to do some thing differnet, but snice people like to point fingers you all should only be pointing at me since i didnt show but idc since i got a chance to make some over time. Alien, I wanted to thank you for taking the time to TRY to organize an event and you deserve kudos for that effort.
So you couldn't make it. Yeah that's unfortunate but in this climate no-one with any sense of priorities is going to throw a hissy fit at you for WORKING and earning money instead of playing a video game.
Maybe a postponement might have been in order but who knows what is going to happen tomorrow or next week.
I know that I shouldn't post because I wasn't involved in the actual event (I don't have a controller or dominator high enough) and normally that would be enough to ensure I keep my mouth firmly shut. However, I do know from experience the effort it takes to coordinate people for one event and that deserves some recognition.
I wish you better luck next time and hopefully I might even be able to join it.

Agreed, and its kewl Alien that RL comes first and allways should. i wouild be interested in trying it another time if one should be in the works to try again. keep up the good work Alien and don't think you had anything to do with the drama of this at all.

Accually I see quite a few great players in this thread that I have teamed with alot in the past year
Let me chime in and say that I had fun. I was a part of Team Stubborn and enjoyed playing with friends and good players....no, they have not all left the game/Guardian.
It's too bad the dom team didn't keep going and Alien, if you want to try this again I' will be happy to join and I'll even switch sides and run my dom. I know an all-dom team can do it if they all work together. However, it will have to be after June 15 as I am going to be soaking up the sun and surf in Maui.
I'd like to thank you for organizing the event as well. It motivated my SG to run the ITF on Invinc, no temps. We ended up with 5 defenders and 1 blaster from the SG and a pickup duo of a defender and blaster. Not quite the 7 defenders, 1 blaster we were going for, but on a holiday weekend, you take what you can get. With 6 defenders and 2 blasters we stomped through Romans and Nazis with great fun had by all. (I am also stupid and got mixed up on the times, running at 5 PM EST).
Why Blasters? Empathy Sucks.

What the hell? Let's buff defenders.
Tactics are for those who do not have a big enough hammer. Wisdom is knowing how big your hammer is.

Indeed.
The blaster is a Fire/Fire and provides a good focal point for the team with both Blazing Aura and Hot Feet running. I also know how to play that character well as a tank, in case one of my teammates gets in trouble. My Kin/Elec is not as capable of grabbing aggro. While mostly we do not need much aggro control, since the whole team is very survivable, there are times where it is nice to have that focal point and aggro generation. The Sonic/Sonic and one of the Rad defenders also help support with aggro control quite a bit, so we could run 8 defenders.
Also, defenders do not get Blaze... yet.
