Contagious Confusion Still Bugged

Contagious Confusion is still bugged. It will confuse your pets and turn them against. Just FYI, and the hope that one day my Fulcrum Shifted Jack will stop whacking me with his sword.

Not just your pets, but your friends' pets too!

Take Tactics. It gives 6.24 Confuse protection at level 50. Workaround, I know, but an option nonetheless.

Someone PM castle about this yet? I hope they're even aware of this bug <_<, and I hope it isn't "really low priority"

low priority is defined by affecting few enough players to warrant a quick solution. Just about every /nin stalker uses that proc so from that player base alone it should be high priority

<QR>
Does it only affect pets or does it affect players as well?

Only pets and npcs as far as I've seen. Imperious on the ITF will often fall victim to it. He's a bad enemy to have.

I have bugged this so many times >.<

I know on illusion it isn't so bad as my phantasm is usually back enough for it not to affect it but it gets other controllers pets.

And considering I duo with a fire controller on that toon, confused fire imps are really not fun.

Yes, they are apparently too busy making new stuff to fix the existing stuff. Of course, if something in the new stuff doesn't work right, they'll pile more "new stuff" on that too, hoping that no one notices....

There are plenty of bugs here and there (So DARN many powers that don't work while hoving....GRRRRR....), and the longer you play and the more you try to play with unique builds the more you run into them. I bugged this one pretty much every time I played my Dom. Since there was absolutely 0 feedback on this obvious BUG, I've mothballed my Dom. It's just another dead character I chalked up to a dev-ignored bug.

Edit: Heh, I just realized I had a post with the exact same title about 2 months ago.

CoH has been unique in the sea of cloned MMOs.There are years of possibilities still
in such a well designed, well supported and well loved game.Shutting it down now doesn't
make sense on any level except, perhaps, on some spreadsheets bottom line. I do not
consider this an act of a company that has the interests of its customers at heart. This
calls into question why I would want to be part of any further ventures involving NCSoft.

you think that's bad? One of my mains is an ice/storm troller.

... and I have it in AA... because frostbite+AA=vury slow mobs. Downside is that puts me in melee with any other pets on the team... and it's constantly tickin'

I haven't noticed it confuse my tornado/lightning storm yet... but... imagine a confused tornado for a sec. Bad. knockin' everyone all over the place.

Don't forget all those fortunata's out there, as there def bassed to.
Heck I half expect most of them to have this set 6 sloted I know
I do have it 6 sloted twice on mine (both builds )

The trick is you gotta find a way to exploit it to your advantage, then report it. That'll get it fixed quick.

It is very annoying when my 'confused' Vines knock fellow teammates out of the air. If I'm on a team that has players that are hovering out of melee range, my 'confused' Vines knock out their flight and drop them right into the mob. Bottom Line, Vines is only useful when there no teammates with Fly.. and I have hover.

I'm amazed a bug like this which invalidates the use of some powers has remained intact for so long.

What if you confuse your pets under the Atlas Park statue and turn on phase or hibernate or PFF? Would that get the quick exploit fix? Wentworths? The AE building, perhaps?

But I suppose they can't fix an exploit without nerfing something as well, thats just blasphemy.

Tho theres not really much bout a uselessly bugged IO to nerf <_<

I consider it a fun bug.... watching imperious kill my buddy the first time I saw it was absolutely hilarious.

Maybe that's just me >.>
