Reliably finding low level content in MA
Try searching for LBMA. See what that turns up.
There's a stickied thread up above.
I've run some of those arcs, but obviously there's a lot more out there. I will try the [LBMA] tag and see what that turns up.

JSNTS is a tag created by people in the Badge-hunter forums to help them find each others arcs.
Interpret that as you will.

Not sure about lowbie arcs, but I use level range tags to make my arcs easier to find (in the lvl XX-XX) fomat. Don't know if a lot of other people do this, but you might try typing 'lvl 1-15' in your search window and see what you get. Can't hurt to try.

You're in luck! You can still run my arc! (See my sig).
Some people have luck searching for low level groups, like Hellions and Skulls. Of course, then you'd miss the mission with custom groups, and probably find some things that are unsuitable.
Absolutely, though, being able to search by level range is one of the first improvements they should make to the MA search screen.

Problem with searching "1-15" is it won't pickup "2-16", which would be a disireable result.

So type in 2-16 as well. Hey, I didn't say it was perfect; just that I find it makes things just a little bit easier...a really, really small little bit, but IMO, with the current search engine, we need all the help we can get.

I'm almost sick of Hellions and Skulls at this point. Why doesn't anyone use low level stuff from red-side? Snakes, RIP cops, Mooks, etc.

Snakes (listed as Snake by MA) range 1-52, while RIP (listed as Rogue Island Police by the MA) range 1-40. Mooks are a safe bet though, at 5-20.
If you want a quick list of other possible groups within the lowbie range, it should be easy enough to provide.

well, for one, I personally hate snakes. They have a bad tendency to be hard to solo for some AT's
Hellions on the other hand, tend to not be. hence why I use em in my lowbie Fusionette TF
Want comedy and lighthearted action? Between levels 1-14? Try Nuclear in 90 - The Fusionette Task Force!
Arc ID 58363!
I played the Fusionette TF (solo I might ad), on lvl 10 blaster. Fantastic, I highly recommend it to the OP.
My level 50 Dominators:
Madame Mindbender 50 Mind/Energy
Fly Agaric 50 Plant/Thorn
Nate Nitro 50 Fire/Psi
I have a low hero mission called Save The Silver Sphinx. It has been republished a couple times for tweaks, however I think it is ready for everyone to try out.
I'm working on a couple longer ones for (1 - 54), one hero and one neutral. Then I think I will work on a low villain mish.

I played your arc and enjoyed it.
I've just played so many featuring Hellions (more than Skulls, actually) that it's make me yearn for the next "tier" of villain (or hero... my character concept is equally happy with content for either side).

Because hardly anyone writes villain arcs to begin with. Those that do get made tend to be "blow up the universe for fun" and what not.

But why can't people write heroic arcs using villain mobs? Perhaps it's the problem with the low groups having wide lvl ranges, which I was unaware of until now, buf if the goal is to design low level content and it's clearly described as such, why not use them?

I wrote a villain arc that works just fine at low levels (soloed it as low as level 5 without using Vet Rewards). I used mobs that are 1-54 (Longbow, Council, Paragon Police, Custom Critters) and it worked out just fine. The best part is it stays relatively fun regardless of what level you run it at. I don't have the arc ID handy, but it's got the SFMA and LBMA tags in it (Terra Incognito No More (hate the title, but can't think of anything else right now that isn't seven miles long))
The problem with using Snakes is that they are 1 - 54, but have a broken portion in their range. RIP level limits the arc, as does Mooks. What I've found is that Arcs that don't have at least one mission that goes up to 54 tend to get very few plays on them. Not always, but most of the time.

Sounds like you haven't really looked.
There are 5 pages of heroic arcs with snake enemies. Only one page of mooks, but they are out there. Just pick heroic, type the group into search and tada.

I have a new character I'm running from lvl 1 to 50 exclusively on MA content. Currently, he's lvl 12, and I'm having trouble finding low level focused content in a consistent manner.

I've got 2 arcs for blueside lowbies: "A South Side Story" and "Hall of the Dancing Tigers."
The Tigers arc is aimed mainly at the very low lowbie (3-8, tho you can do it till 14) and South Side is aimed at 10-14. South Side *is* Hellions and Skulls, so be warned!
My arcs don't have the LBMA tag in them - I just heard of it now - so I'll go pop it in the descriptions ASAP.
Is there a thread somewhere here that lists all the abbreviations (like LBMA) that people are using now?
I wasn't looking for specific groups (didn't know you could do that, actually) I was looking for any low level content. Now that I know about the LBMA tag, I'll see what hits I get with that tonight.

I have a lowbie arc I made, titled "Level-Up Time". It's a Blue-Side Arc, but it involves the Infected! It's set for Level 1-10. They're searching for something in an office building, have taken hostages that you must release, and there's an Ally to help you out during the mission. You may not want to try it out however, because it's also a Defeat All Type Mission. It's set in a Paragon City 5-Floor Office Building. I've played it on Heroic Difficulty, and I've had no problems with it. I don't remember the Arc I.D. Number, so just look under my Global Name which is @StarNinja and you'll find that arc. Play it or not, it's up to you. The mission is also set to Neutral Morality, so both Heroes and Villains can play it.
Try my 3 MArcs: I.D.#67166:Protect the Artifacts!! I.D.#97724:Level-Up Time. I.D.#243803:Witch War! Salem vs. Croatoa!
My arc, Revenant Rampage , is a short level 14-15 arc using often-ignored mobs, such as the Midnight Squad, Igneous, Legacy Chain, Minions of Bat'Zul and so on.
It's ONLY levels 14-15, because those are the only levels where the ranges for the enemy groups in each mission intersect.
The arc is villainous, and tries to be a quasi-sequel to Veluta Lunata's spectral Arachnos unlockable arc.
You start off by investigating a Midnight Squad raid on a ship where the ghosts of the Rogue Isles have gathered for a night of gambling...

Snake Tales (Arc ID #91268)
I have a new character I'm running from lvl 1 to 50 exclusively on MA content. Currently, he's lvl 12, and I'm having trouble finding low level focused content in a consistent manner.
When I try searching for "lowbie" I get some content, but I also get a bunch of arcs that have "no lowbies" or "not recommended for lowbies" in them.
When I search for "low level" I get a whole bunch of content, mostly triggering off "follower" or something like that... along with a few low level focused arcs.
Is there a better way to do this? I'm not really familiar with the informal tags out there... what's JSNTS anyway?
