Why the Ice Blaster is still king in PvP

I sir challenge you to a duel with my fire blaster. Ice=lols
My Ice/Cold Corruptor rarely has problems with Ice Blasters. I have everything they have plus massive debuffs and pretty significant resistance to their damage types. I've only faced one Ice Blaster that I couldn't beat.

No. If I said Spawn was the stupidest suprhero that ever was that would be trollin. This is just stating the obvious, and is the most important conversatio in the PvP forum.
Ok Ill concede to the Ice Ice Corrupter, but compared to the ice ice blaster thats like saying one twins better looking than the other.

Better damage, which in PvP 2.0 is really all that matters.

Yeah I heard the rumors about SR, but when the ice blaster is slotted with accys the SR will be hit. As soon as the Elude wears off of course, but that just means a delay in your buttwhippin.
Ok Rad healers when your immobilized your healing is moot! You are an ice cube waiting to be crushed, and nothing more. All Scrappers, and even blaster gotta get thru a 3 layered attack of damage, slowness, and immobilization. Not even counting if youve an elusive Ice Blaster. Its not fun just getting shot down from arfar. Fire blasters LOL @ them all. The most overrated blaster is the fire blaster.
Im simple, but right. I wasted 50 lvls playing a Broadsword Invulnerablity, and was blaster candy. What can really give a correctly built ice blaster trouble in PvP/ One answer - another Ice Blaster!

Again my argument is threefold, Slow, Immobilize, and alot of both. Fire does have impact damage, BUT if youre slowed or held the ice blaster will surpass whatever damage margin a fire blaster has. I.e. being hit 3 times to 2 times Id go with the one that connects more.
A Tank huh? You dont ever want to fight my future PvP Ice Blaster cause Ill never get close to you to hit me. Youd be sniper candy.

wait what? snipe? did i miss something or did devs add snipe to ice blast...............................?

this thread is BS, my AR Blaster out damages Fire, Ice, Sonic and Psy all at the same time!

My blaster only took freeze ray. I use freeze ray+flurry to wtfpwn everything.
Or you chould just put Flury on Auto fire and Pawnt all the FightKluberz
Ok this is outright strange.......if your immobilized at least 1 attk out of 3 YOU LOSE! How is my math wrong?! What faulty update took away the advantage of doing damage to opponents that cant fight back?!
Right now I have a lvl 15 Ice Blaster on Protector. (I know dont laugh with AE now sometimes I cant log onto Freedom). Anybody with any type of 15 lvl toon...
