Certainly. I'm hearing that you should concentrate more on defensive and recharge, or am I just confused. People say a lot of stuff in game and it's tough remembering all the details. Also, some of the acronyms people use confuse me a bit too, since I am fairly new to all of this (getting into the technical side of building a toon).

Just wondering if anyone else out there has this build and whether or not they could share some info on the progression of their builds.

Check out the scrapper forum, quite a few spine/regen builds posted there as it is one of the more popular builds.

Ok people. I posted a while back on my SS/WP Brute, Boston Crusher on Freedom. I got some great advice and managed to build a pretty solid toon, then again, from what I have seen so far, SS/WP is solid no matter what . That being said, I have reached lvl 47 and am probably hitting 50 today. I plan to make another toon, one specifically for PvP, I am quite attracted to the 2 new ATs, are they feasable for PvP? And if so, what would be the more advantageous one along with fun. I am all about complete and total damage and ripping people up in a quick way. Not necessarily looking for build templates, just people's take and experiences with the ATs.

Wow, thanks a lot for the great responses. They all make sense and do point out things that were kind of in the back of my mind, but never came to the front :P

I will take the advice of using the program to plan my toon ahead (I think a respec is in the near future) I'll also try out SC as well.

My playstyle, subconciously, is to come in, hit so hard they are panicking, and use that instant to unleash the rest of my attacks to finish them off, is there a build that has that particular mentality in mind?

I am new to PvP in CoX so I am going to ask a few questions with hopes of not getting flamed.

I currently have 2 PvP toons (at least i think they are pvp toons)

I do want to post my builds and I need software to do so. So here's my questions:

1) What is the recommended character builder software to post my builds?

2) My main PvP toon is a SS/WP Brute. I am currently level 37 and went to Warburg to immediately be humbled. I concentrated heavily on defense, which seems near useless now. I can take a good beating but the problem is, I can't unleash enough damage to put the squirrely d00ds at bay.
One of the biggest issues I have run into is hoppy poppers, who hit me for tremendous damage, which in turn I manage to fire off one or 2 attacks before they hop off popping greens.
Is melee PvP possible or has it been reduced to duels as I have a hard time keeping up with the ranged opponents. Any suggestions on how to possibly contain my opponent long enough to fire off my attacks or is it hopeless?

Please keep in mind, I am new to PvP and I know this must sound stupid, but I have a genuine interest in learning. I play on freedom server and my Brute is Boston Crusher.

I am currently tossing around the idea of a DB/? toon. I was just curious if there was any possibility or slight chance of a viable and working PvP build.
