Aye, I had to redo my custom groups because critters went all over the place too.

But everything's fixed now (or at least everything I could see), so since I lost all my ratings, I'd appreciate if people who played my arc before could tag it again as before - or play it again, considering I had to make some minor tweaks.

I've been tweaking my custom groups so much, I haven't noticed.

I wound up yanking WftAG from the folder and storing it elsewhere until the issue is resolved. This enabled me to work on fixing other things.

Like moving the "Guardswoman" to the Air Guard Elite.

Finally got a new "Meet the Air Guard" arc up.

Now I have to come up with a new "Working for the Air Guard" arc.

Okay then, so if everything worked out okay, the AE system should be live soon, and with that a good number of dev-choice arcs.

If that's the case, then I'm going to need the help of my fellow players now.

Basically, it boils down to "play my arc that I hope is still there in the dev choice bracket" - I have 2 others in the waiting, but need to unlock a bunch of stuff on live first (costumes and maps), and need tickets to do so ASAP. So on live today, please see if you can find Welcome to Architect Entertainment and give it a play and a rate - preferably with a team.

I shall do so, and use the tickets thus gained to unlock everything I need to publish mine.

Edit: 130 tickets required, I think. Maybe 170, I can't remember if I put auras on any of them.

I will be doing the same since I am in the same boat. I need like 200 tickets to unlock all the costume parts needed for my one mission arc called Trademark Infringement.

Yes... I need a few more tickets to publish the arc I WANT to publish. I did put up a cute little one mission quickie.

I think it's fun. Even more fun if you read The Broken Thorn and are familiar with Ici Cold.

It's arc number 4625. Quick, easy, hopefully fun and funny.

My three are up- numbers and names in my sig. Although "The Meatgrinder" really doesn't have much in the way of a plot, or even a point, really.

I've created two arcs.

"A Strange Anomaly" Arc # 4250
Recommended alignment: neutral.
Join SHADOWSTAR in it's efforts in creating a more stable platform for it's MCEC Program. Remember! All it takes is one mistake and you might have to restock your blues.

That mission is very difficult, or so I'm told.

I worked up another mission that is much better written and is a lot easier...

A Day In The Life Arc #30897
Recommended alignment: Villainous
Work for Dr. Skjebene as his personal assistant / lackey / aspiring biological engineer. Horrible lab experiments gone wrong, terrible plagues created and then vaccinated, never-ending hordes of Arachniods pouring into the doctor's area after a breach in a containment wall -- all in a day's work.

I've got something MA related...

Any of you guys following this thread have any heroes or villains that lived through (or died during) the First Rikti Invasion? If so I might like to borrow your character for an arc I'm planning.

Toss me a tell if you're interested, no need cluttering things up with back and forths.

Statesman said let there be heroes, and there were heroes.

Lord Recluse said let there be villains, and there were villains.

NCsoft said let there be nothing, and there was nothing.

2 years... has it really been 2 years? Man, time flies...

Anyway, after a long hiatus from the boards, the Mission Architect System has managed to rekindle my interest in writing.

I've just finished my first story arc; I did my best to balance the gameplay element with the story, and I tried my best to make the custom group I created challenging without being unstoppable. Overall, I would really appreciate any help in trying out my Story Arc, and suggesting any improvements that could make it better.

The Arc is called The Galactic Protectorate, and the Arc ID code is 47143.

I'm also in the middle of creating a supplemental fanfic that adds to the story I've created in the arc. It's not necessary to read the fanfic in order to understand the story (I know many players don't visit these boards), it's just something extra I've created for the few people who enjoy the arc enough to learn a bit more about the characters.

I've got a new one up:

Arc Name: The Prism
Arc ID: 49801
Morality: Heroic
Faction: Council, Arachnos, and a custom group: The Prism
Creator Global/Forum Name: Sooner
Difficulty Level: Moderately Challenging
Synopsis: A local science teacher is concerned because all the prisms are being bought up. Your investigation leads you to a new villain group, a new threat, and a new arch-villain threatening Paragon City.
Estimated Time to Play: depends strongly on how thoroughly you clear the maps. Each map can be stealthed. One map has numerous glowies on a large map. If you stealth everything, this arc can easily be done in 15-30 minutes. If you clear everything... a much longer time investment.

A note: Tonight I revisisted Bring A Lord to Power and re-examined the difficulties of some of the custom bosses. You'll now find the last two missions much more manageable as some Archvillains were brought down to an Elite Boss level.

Enjoy.
