RP MA Massacre
Haha, you just beat me to making this thread. Soon as the servers back up, I'll finish my arc.
Arc ID: 475246, "Bringing a Lord to Power"

Yeah, don't mention that second one's yours. Also, anyone playing it take a character with end drain resistance or a ton of blues, geeze.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll be skipping that one now.
Gee Rebel, thanks a lot.
Actually though, I've been getting overwhelmingly positive reviews for them. People seem to think they're "slimy little dirtbags, hateful as can be - and we loved it". I've also been told that it's nice that they can and will end drain you, but unlike Malta Sappers need to stack their drains in order to do so, which is exactly the force multiplier effect I was going for. Alone, they'll slow you down, but to be really dangerous, they need each other.
Also adding another to this list:
Meet the Air Guard
Sadly, I haven't had the chance to see the whole arc, but what I have seen so far is impressive. Not overly fancy, but excellent writing, solid mission design, and definetely fun.

I'm working on one now, The All-Seeing Eye. I have plans for another. I'll post when they are published and you can hammer at them.

Governments have fallen to the power of social media. Gaming companies can too.
I published my first arc: Better Sooner than Later. I like it, but then you fight three of my characters, rescue another, and the contact is another.
Ya.. it's a little egocentric.
Bleah.
Well, I tried.
Small Fears
and
The Meatgrinder
are mine. Small Fears is my feeble attempt at horror, and The Meatgrinder is... well... Exactly What it Says On the Tin. I'm not sure how well I succeeded, but the Meatgrinder is a fairly solid attempt at killing everything that sets foot in there (er... no AVs, though. Just Lieutenants and Bosses).

After Acid and I playtested it together (going in solo gave me positive feedback as far as placement, EBs, etc.), I had to yank down "Meet the Air Guard."
*sigh*
Ah well, I wasn't too happy about the "side missions" anyway. I might still be able to use them (in fact, I'll still use the initial "Defeat All"), but for now, I'll have to look to an alternate story.
I still recommend Hunter Zachariah, though. I feel it's a good enemy to fight if you really want to hurt something.
Republished MTAG as a single-mission arc (because using the Air Guard sent the whole system into a conniption).
I'll get to work on a sequel arc to deal with actually working for them.

I suppose I should add - the end drains are only really a problem for melee characters. Blasters and controllers and stuff should be more or less fine.

I'll be making an arc that features Shimmer as a villain, and I have the first two missions laid out, but now I'm stuck.
First mission starts out like a lowbie Hellion mission, but then has the player attacked by robots (Guess who).
And the second one vaguely has Blind join them against some different 'bots, but I'd think 3 of my characters is far more than enough, not to mention 2.0 as the contact, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to work the last 3 missions.
I DO know I want to throw Shimmer in for a split-second. Like, at the very last mission, since the option is in that as soon as he sees you, he runs, but I want to know if you can make one character an Elite Boss/Archvillain and have him guarded by one Boss/Elite Boss level NPC.

You can't, but if the map is small enough you can pretty much guestigauge how far away they'll be so they might as well be in the same mob. Another option is to spawn the guard as an ambush once you attack Shimmer, but the guard could appear anywhere.

You know, the Architect has an autosave function for exactly that reason...

I turned that on the MOMENT I started.
Didn't wanna lose anything.
Well, I'd add to this now:
Likely Enemies, Unlikely Allies
To Hell and Back
..but the second one crashed and disappeared on me, so we'll have to wait until it comes back.

Replaced lost missions. Fixed arc.
Don't want to publish it until I've given it a run-through, though.
I reworked the story of the original "Meet the Air Guard," and made it into
"Working for the Air Guard."
This time it has a lead-up to the much better AV fight.
Alright... I think I got the kinks out of it.
"Meet the Air Guard" I feel does a good enough job of explaining who the guys are.
"Working for the Air Guard," however, is the more involved story I'd intended the original to be. It's recommended for levels 30-35.

Welp, mine's finally finished. It's published as 'A Mother's Nightmare' (Thanks to TeChameleon for the name) Probably nowhere near as good as you guys', it's more or less an origin story for one of my characters.
If any of you feel like playing it, I'd appreciate some feedback.

THIS POST IS IMPORTANT IF YOU ARE SKIMMING THE THREAD FOR ARCS!
Silly me, I forgot about the stupid edit time-limit.
Until I can figure something out so this can work, please post all suggested arcs in yellow so people can more easily skim over the thread for names. If it's the second+ time an arc has been mentioned, do NOT write it in yellow. Much appreciated.
I edited mine.

Can't. Test is down. I wanted to play Grey's and yours first thing this morning, but Blue Steel crashed in with his bold red text and told me 'no'.

This is a list of Mission Architect Arcs that have or will be recommended by members of the RP forum for other members to enjoy. There's no limitations or restrictions on what can be placed here. Is an arc you played really funny? Post it. Is it very deep and thoughtful conceptually, or is it implemented in a particularly creative way? Post it. Did you make it? Then post it here. I'll keep an eye on this thread and update the OP every time an Arc is added.
