Yeah it put certain ATs especially most Doms except *cough*fire/elec*cough* out of the picture, you almost never see support ATs in zones anymore (it's always blasters, scrappers, widows and forts). Stalkers aren't that great either, the damage output is lame, especially AS.

Eh? Doms are like the PvP 2.0 Blasters now. Sure there aren't many viable combos (but that holds true for almost every AT, lol powerset balance indeed) but Doms still do respectably. Gogo Mind, Fire, Elec, and Fiery...

I only ever did one duel with that toon pre-I13, as a joke match against a Peacebringer. We tied.
Other than that? I was always happy to bring that toon into arena or zone teams and was glad to play the role of buffer because even if I wasn't contributing to the kill count, I was making sure my teammates stayed alive and well-buffed. In I13 I can't do either.

Yea seriously. I've had people tell me doms are gimp....they are just blasters.

No, but as any emp, he could be extremely helpful to any team. Compared to now, where the toon is completely useless. Can't kill anything OR be an effective buffer.

Okay I won't argue with your own experiences, though I'll say, you and say a scrapper vs my brute alone, you would likely win the fight.

Fire/Fire Brute - Was powerful before I13....didn't need any buffs really. After I13, it's pretty FotM. Not quite as much as SS/fire, but close.

o.O My brute was powerful in Pre-13? I'll give to you that anything with fire damage couldn't hurt me but otherwise, with 5 full purples sets and all the best IO's, my brute still couldn't win anything.
In teams I'd get destroyed by ranged attacks.
In 1 vs 1 matches I could fight some tanks and scrappers to a stand still, but I rarely ever got a kill. Perhaps you were doing something I wasn't.

Sonic/sonic Corruptor and a Rad/Rad defender - Both MUCH worse in I13 than before. The sonic is flat out useless now since the buffs do basically nothing, and the rad is a joke compared to what he was before.

I think my sonic corruptor is still a solid addition to a team. Flies in, gives some team buffs (they aren't as big as they were pre-I13 but every little bit helps). I do pretty well with her and I bet a better PvP'er than myself would do a lot better.
My Rad, yeah at my Rad, though I bet if I had a real travel power instead of Teleport he would do better.

Everybody know that I13 was a bust. Still Errors on being equal. All the Dev's did was switch things around. Certain builts was good are now crap and vise versa. My concern is are the gold farmers in Rv... They sit in a PFF bubble by base the villain base and farm. Its so hard or impossible to kill them in PFF....... SMART DEV'S that should lose there jobs i say or switch to a different department. I saw many good friend leave this game because what the Dev's did to this game. Along with everything else that has elusivity. PFF went from 80% to 50% and most other things went from 30% to 10%, obviously it wasnt PFF that was OP, but elusivity.......yay nonlogical devs...

It's plain and simple imo. The devs could care less about the players.
i14 killed farming, which is so sad.

from where I'm sitting farming is better than ever, so far i14 has been a farming utopia. Did I miss a recent change?
general teaming has taken a hit though, that I'd agree with.
i13/14 pvp is bad though, very much agree. Still fun at times, but just sad how good it "could" have been with someone who has a clue behind the wheel.

That's not even my toon, but I know how it feels. I have toons that were made 100% useless by I13. Ironically, my "unplayable" ones stayed unplayable.

I just wanted to briefly go over the 4 toons you mentioned.

So please explain....how is I13 good? Out of your 4 toons, 2 great toons were turned into a joke...and 2 very powerful ones were made overpowered. I'm sorry...but I fail to see how that is good game design.
