I was the one who mentioned Synapse, and I totally agree the SG team TF runs are a great idea. I had a good time organizing the Posi run, and will volunteer to lead Synapse next. The question becomes now... when? For starters, I am thinking Thursday or Friday night beginning at 7:30PM EST, or another run during the Saturday 3pm timeslot. I'll get a read on interest as I bump into folks in-game and around the forums, then draft a post with the preliminary scheduling information. Thoughts? Preferences?

I think A'ndromeda/Jamelles was going to put up a few screenies from the Posi run on her Shutterfly site... I'll check with her on that. As I recall, there were a few good ones.

Which reminds me... Turgenev, I applied to the GuildPortal site -- though I doubt you will recognize the name. If you have a site application from a long Sri Lankan sounding name with the initials M.R., that's me. Once I have access I can post images from our play-sessions to the GP site.

After Synapse, I will let someone else step forward to lead the next TF... or maybe see about revisiting Positron with some SG alts that are ~level 10-15 in the next ten days or so.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I will be logging on to Champion for Tanker Tuesday tonight with Coors L1ght, though I may have to hit the 'no xp' button to avoid level-capping Synapse. Happy hero'ing.

CRAP. I can set this up now, but GP is down. I'm out for a few days at this point, but once I get a chance I'll auth you for access and let you go crazy on the GP site for pics and posts and whatnot.

I would really like to participate since I missed Positron, but I'm busy on Saturday. I could do Friday night and Sunday though, and probably Thursday night.

Okay. Four people were membered into CO, with MR (Cooper) ranked as Officer, and Vixen ranked as Council. Officer and Council cover nearly everything, with membership and site admin reserved for now (I tried to give memberhsip admin, but it requires super admin to do it). Reserving Super Admin until things get spun up and we figure out who's doing what, but we should have all the major bases covered.

I'm not getting notices when people apply, so sorry for delay. Might be on my old email acct...

(Yep, it's because it was pointing to my old Comcast acct. That's now fixed. Sorry for delays.)

I went around last night collecting beacons for the base so we can make use of teleporters when the generator gets installed. I got all the city zones up to IP and tonight I'll be working on the hazard zones.

Id love to do synapse on Saturday..can we make is a morning run this week? We have the ultra fancy cub scout Blue and Gold Banquet Sat night. I can level up my toon for the run quickly..

Okay, due to my altitis, which I am not ashamed of in the least, I am going to create a new character tonight that I hope will be my main for this group: an Ice/Elec Blaster. My only trouble is, I'm having trouble coming up with a name.

A question for everyone. I had a thought today about the base design. Based on the trend that seems to be occuring of creating SG toons with government themed names it gave me a concept for the base, but before I change it wanted to get input from the peanut gallery. I was thinking going more tech or gray to make it look more like a continuity of government bunker like the decomissioned Greenbriar facility for Congress. The only reason I went arcane with the base was I had gone tech with the last one I did. But now that I have a concept I thought I'd run it by everyone.

I have a "capitol" pillar design and lighting scheme in mind. I'll whip up a room for you to look at, see if you like where it's going with general theme. I'd rather try for the more regal opportunity if we can, but it shouldn't be too hard, esp. with raid pathing relaxed to where we can get really creative with base items.

It seems like there is consensus building toward an early Saturday morning Synapse TF, though there may be a few kinks to work out. The first kink is that I have to be somewhere at 12pm Saturday, which really means I need to leave my house ~11am. How about we try Synapse this coming Friday night? Starting any time from 6PM EST through 8pm EST? I'd love to work in the folks that were unable to join the last Posi run...

How about you Vixen? Is friday night possible?

How about the rest of the folks?

If we can't make Friday night work... it looks like we may be starting something like 7 or 8am on Saturday morning. This probably isn't ideal for many people, but it works fine for me up until 11:30am or so. Could you make an early Saturday run, Hulkbuster? I'll await some more responses, then make a final post tomorrow during the day and start compiling a list of those who can attend once we pin down a time. I realize we won't be able to choose one that works for everyone. Sigh.
