Absolutely mind blowing videos. This one is right on par with the level of excellence that we have come to know as "The Samuraiko Standard" of videos.

I am usually flabbergasted and relentlessly resistant to changes in the game until you open my eyes to the possibilities. Although I don't always like the changes, your continued efforts keep my checking account low and my character count rising.

25-45, for three branches, is a *lot* of arcs. Pretty much just have "theme" listed, though I might grab some of them for titles. (Like, banes - arc themes end up being Paranoia, Flee, Assert, Dominate, Rally, Destiny. Probably combining Dominate and Rally, and I'm considering Paranoia/Flee as well. Then there's the Fortunata side, with a totally different feel - Pebble, Ripple, Wave, Tide, Deluge.)

Those are obviously not the names - they haven't had names given yet. I may try paring them down to three arcs each, just to do a mass publish (or one bane, one widow, and one non-veat, and hope they all get moved up. Yeah, high hopes.)

And then there's the regular arcs.

Dear lord, madam, how on *earth* are you going to fot CoSH into the arc limits?!? Multipart, I'd assume. >.<

*smirks* It's actually not going to be the entire story, although I can certainly do some of the book as story arcs in the game (that momentous first date, the attack on the charity ball, etc). But THE HEARTS OF HEROES arc is actually based on upcoming events (well after the hell they're in now).

Depends on how many people would want to PLAY through the story of TCoSR.

The advertising of this game needs a MAJOR overhaul for Issue 14. This Issue is TOO IMPORTANT to just leave to 'word of mouth'. This would bring back MANY old timers to the game, guaranteed.

All it takes is Issue 14 going live, DR at the helm of video PR production for CoH/V, and a nice paycheck for her.

Make it so, Number One!!!

I appreciate the compliment, Jonathan, but it'll never happen. NCNorCal's YouTube channel is for the stuff produced in-house, or the stuff they commissioned.

Unfortunately, I don't fall under either category. Every video I've made for CoH, I've made because I wanted to, at my own expense and time, and apart from player appreciation (and the public recognition/embarrassment at HeroCon 2008 from Lighthouse *grin*), gotten no compensation.

If you want to hook people into the game using my videos in your blog or a forum you hang out on or something, be my guest - I know a lot of people do. Just please don't spam sites with my stuff.

Deej, I've tried. Applied twice, got rejected twice. I don't know if it's their budget, the fact I live in AZ (though I've stated both times I'm willing to relocate, and even at my own expense if necessary), that maybe I rubbed the devs the wrong way at HeroCon, I'm not qualified enough... I honestly have no idea. I've never gotten answers, though I've asked. The answer has just been "no."

But I've said it before and I'll say it again... it means a tremendous amount to me that you guys (the CoX player base) watch my stuff and think, "THIS is how CoX should be advertised." Because it means that my videos convey what you enjoy most about the game - whether it's the creativity, the action, the drama, or the sheer coolness of being a superhero or supervillain.

Whatever it is, if I'm getting it right, I'm glad of it.

That was me doing some very tricky demoediting, some judicious use of Leandro's Splasher program, and knowing how to make Sony Vegas Movie Studio do what *I* wanted it to do.

Hmmm... maybe if I get money back from my taxes, I'll splurge and get the rest of the addon plugin packs for Vegas...
