"It's certainly a safer approach than simply jumping right there." Drago gave a thoughtful nod, "However, my employer insists that time is of the essence here."

He looked to Millions, wanting to know, "How quickly would your idea get us there? Do you have any kind of estimate...?"

--------------------

"Paxtera?" Arek performed the equivalent of raising an eyebrow when the Kheldian seemed to space out. Then again, maybe she was just getting her bearings in order to take the draconian up on his suggestion...

A beeping noise that Stahlhund heard within his helmet alerted him to a repied message. It wasn't his however. It was Dynamo Rose's. He switched to a private channel that only Dynamo and himself would hear.

"So, we go to Paragon? The City of Heroes? I will not be requiring a disguise. I have plans for such an occasion." the german stalker said, a strange grin could be heard upon his voice.

Millions nodded in response to Drago's question. "Theroretically we could just hop at the last possible moment, and be within the Sedadyne complex in less than five minutes. It's even possible to make sure the destination isn't one of their random warehouses. I'll make all the arrangements on our way there."

Jack's eyebrows raised as Stahlhund burst into conversation, seemingly without prompt. Jack made the connection, with Rose sending out information, probably to Mannings, and then probably receiving a reply, which the tech Stalker had announced earlier that he was capable of tapping into the group's lines. Whatever the reason was, he shrugged and added "I won't be needing a disguise either. If anyone notices me, I'll find something to make cover"

Jack smiled at this, letting loose a small laugh. He clapped his hand together, asking "So, when are we leaving?"

"Hmm?", Pax replied absently, glancing around at the draconian. "What? Oh, right." And she disappeared with her usual golden flash. Moments later, her two companions would feel the characteristing nondirectional tug of someone trying to teleport them, but with a slightly more wierd feeling attached due to being pulled through time as well as space.

---------

On a rooftop across the road from the warehouse she saw the van drive into, Pax waited for the others to appear (And tried again to recall them if need be) before gesturing to the warehouse. "That's it there. Either he's there, or there'll be something to indicate where they took him from here." The third possibility that it might be a dead-end she didn't bother to mention. "Watch out for booby traps and the like, I wouldn't be surprised if they've rigged the place after they left if they indeed have left."

"Nor I", Cassie added. "I'm not wanted for anything in Paragon last I checked. I can provide transport too, if we don't feel like being reliant on Crey." The way she said it suggested she was taking her own chopper regardless of what the others decided. Working for Crey was one thing, but being dependent on them was quite another.

"Alright." Drago conveyed his agreement with another nod, "What're we waiting for, then? Move out."

The decision made, though still feeling somewhat uneasy about it, hoping it wouldn't lose too much valuable time, he awaited the mentioned transportation, and would follow without hesiation to the pickup spot...

--------------------

"Logical." Arek remarked neutrally, detaching one of the compartments of this 'stealth' harness from the support strap. A click sounded as the thing unfolded into a pair of rather flat binoculars.

Spreading his wings a bit, the denim-hued draconian surveyed the site, switching through vision modes in the process, including thermal, low-powered X-ray, and several other means to 'see' not only around, but inside the building.

In short, was there anything of note to be found from their current vantage point...?

Rose updated their contact, no need for transportation, and several of the rogues didn't need covers. She did, and made note of anyone else who hadn't claimed to need one. Best to have some extras ready anyway.

Rose nodded at Cassie, "We'll take your transpo, whoever needs a cover, or just wants one ready when we land, let me know, we'll pick them up in Paragon."

"Where are we going to make entry?"

Millions pondered this for a moment.

"Er. All I can promise is that the shipment we may or may not be accidentally and coincidentally internally accompanying will be shipped to Sedadyne's central complex. I can't be...er...anymore specific..." He looked down at the floor. "Than that. Sorry."

"I don't need a cover per se." Dr. Lore admitted, holding up her make-up case. "Unless someone has better costume make-up to cover my markings, I'll be fine." Covers weren't neccesarily her thing, but she knew the drill pretty much. She stood up and quickly started applying said flesh-colored make-up to her face, painting over her spots. "Don't let me hold you guys up, I'm ready when you are."

Cher'tak had shifted uneasily at Bronze Shield's accusation of his presence. He wasn't surprised at all, but it was still unsettling. Thankfully his affiliation with Vanguard kept him from being attacked on sight. The Traditionalists had enough problems without him needing to defend himself from an overly emotional hero.

"Apoligies: Distress: My presence," he said to Shield after Paxtera and Arek had teleported away, putting off his own disappearance for the moment. "Grief: Understood. Species: Human, Rikti: Similar morals. Justice: Unusual forms: Singular intent."

Nodding to her, the Rikti vanished with the odd golden light of the peacebringer's teleport.

*******************

"Generic warehouse: Check," Cher'tak muttered as he stepped out of the teleport onto the roof of the building. "Unusual allies: Check. Mysterious foes: Check. Day: Standard."

Reaching over his shoulder, he detatched his gunblade from the magnetic clamps on his back and hefted it easily in one hand despite its obvious weight. A thick spoke of metal extended several inches out from the top of his left gauntlet, four shafts of oddly textured metal sliding out of the spoke at right angles of one another to form the brace of an energy field. The field wasn't activated yet, but when it was it would glow with the peculiar greenish color indicitive of Rikti plasma technologies.

"Query: Arek: Information gleaned."

"Hardly standard", Pax replied with a grin. "Surely the- no wait, 21st century Paragon so that is an everyday occurance around here. Nevermind."

She did wonder at Cher'tak's unusual method of defense. It wasn't the standard Rikti armament, that was for sure. But she said nothing of it, waiting for Arek to tell them what his scanners had found if anything.

"I'm fond of rooftops myself, but that's just cause I typically arrive in Paragon by helicopter", Cassie commented. "Anyway..." she rattled off an address in Cap au Diable, instructing that that was where the craft she'd mentioned was currently residing and that she'd have it ready by the time they got there. With that, she activated her recall beacon and disappeared with the signature popping noise and bright flash of a teleport.

Just to see if I have it right, the villains are taking Cassie's helo to a generic rooftop in Paragon, those who want them pick up cover stories/identies then sneak to the offices of Sedadyne via (assumed) Crey distribution warehouse and start in the loading dock of the Sedadyne building?))

((Well, Redside, you don't need to be too concerned about logistics in this case. Paragon City has roughly 4,000 different criminal conspiracies running a DAY and has heroes and security forces focusing their attention on them. There also isn't anything directly involved in national politics in the city, so there's not as stringent a military defense as one would expect for the Jewel of Rhode Island (there are some individuals that are indirectly involved, and that's why the Malta Group, Nemesis Army and the Council are here, they love controlling things indirectly and our government doesn't like to acknowledge how indirectly the nation is run).

This is why criminals basically walk in and out of Paragon City on a daily basis. There's too much going on for a focused effort to keep rogue elements from getting about almost as they see fit. Heck, it's how my BWO characters do their work. It's also how heroes keep getting into the Rogue Isles and giving Arachnos officials who are actually trying to maintain control headaches, because the Rogue Isles have the same problem.

Heh. No wonder these two places are such prized positions of contention...

Now... There are numerous places throughout Paragon where our Redsiders can wind up. Most of these places are marked with a big Crey logo . Frankly, I'm leaving it up to you guys to decide just where that is. I know of two places off the top of my head, one is in Kings Row (a Crey office building near the entrance to Skyway City), the other is in Talos Island (a warehouse near the ferries to Striga Isle and Peregrine Island). There may be other places, too, maybe even an office building in Skyway City, but I haven't run into the logo too often in there (the problem being that I'm often flying, leaping or otherwise expediting my egress through that city).

Now, as for the Blueside... Well... Give me a moment...))

OOC:

I was thinking Millions would divert the shipment to the Crey building in King's Row, specifically because nobody cares about what happens in King's Row. We all board and get shipped directly to the Sedadyne complex. From then on out, it is all about stealth and the appropriate application of force.

---Skyway City---

The warehouse the heroes looked down upon was no different from the numerous warehouses found throughout the city. It was a bright white building (indicating that it was surprisingly new for its abandoned state; records indicated that the prior owners didn't receive an influx of capital they required after pouring a large part of their funding into the restoration of the building), two-stories high, roughly one hundred yards long and forty wide, with a gradually inclined roof. There were five cargo doors at regular intervals along the long wall visible to them and personnel doors on the short wall. There was possibly another personnel door on the other side, too, but the other long wall wasn't likely to have cargo doors as the lot surrounding the warehouse was so choked with debris that no vehicle could get through. The roof had an access hatch built into the center, possibly for repair or cleansing purposes.

There weren't any guards, though. Despite what Pax had seen, it didn't look as if anybody were using this building.

Some Lost vagrants wandered nearby and started searching the grounds for usable detritus, but they left the lot as quickly as they came. Some Trolls wandered through, too, but rather than try to paint graffiti on the pristine walls, they left it alone.

Something about the place had the local gang members spooked.

----------

---Redside---

((Want me to cover the situation as you guys arrive, then? My only concern is that timing is a little skewed. We could assume the Redside and Blueside stuff hasn't been exactly simultaneous up to this point. It would still take a couple hours to get to Paragon, after all.

Alright... Utilizing Millions' plan...))

The rogues met the Crey handlers in Port Oakes and were shuffled into what looked like a heavy duty cargo box. Inside, however, it was air conditioned and surprisingly well furnished.

"We've been doing this sort of thing for a while," one of the ladies in an executive power suit explained, "So of course we've got some amenities for your travel. Feel free to help yourselves to the refrigerator and minibar and enjoy the trip with our compliments."

"Good luck, you guys," Harbinger grunted as they entered the container, "Me, I know I can't help out anymore, so this is where I'll say goodbye. My body's still weak and my flames aren't very warm, so I'm not quite back up to snuff as a meta human just yet. Later."

The trip was relatively smooth. The gathered rogues hammered out their strategies or discussed situations they "weren't involved in" to pass the time. In case that didn't appeal to them, there were a couple televisions, a radio, video players, video game consoles and a collection of some top-rated movies and video games. It was almost enough to forget they were inside a big heavy-duty metal box.

A couple hours later they could feel the vessel slow and come to a halt. The box they were in lurched as it was lifted off the ship and placed in a truck next to a warehouse. They could hear a discussion outside as the Crey foreman instructed the driver to take the container straight to the Kings Row office building, open it there, and leave (though it was a muffled to the rogues).

A couple minutes later, they were on their way, riding for about half an hour until they came to a stop and the truck's engine shut down. A moment later, they could hear the locks on the cargo box's doors pop pop open and the door whined open a crack.

"Ladies and gentlemen," a man in a blue uniform with black padding announced as he opened the door the rest of the way, "Welcome to Kings Row. I'm Sergeant Wilson, Crey Security, District Three, Unit Five. I'll escort you about the grunds if there's anything you need and help you get on your way."

"Accepted." Arek gave a nod to the Warmaster, placing the binoculars back where they'd come from. Truth be told, with the lack of life signs inside the building, he doubted the Rikti would detect any minds (the two generally went hand-in-hand, after all), but he wasn't about to dismiss the possibility of a sentient mechanoid that didn't carry a profile divergent from the warehouse being in there.

In fact, since apparently nothing at all had shown up to his surveillance, the draconian most suspected either a truly abandoned place or one guarded by nothing but mechanical traps. Either way, it seemed there wasn't any way to discover which from across the street.

With a flap of his wings, the Sky Commander leaped from the building and let himself glide across the street to the warehouse's roof access hatch, keeping an energy sensor on his harness active just in case. If any differential occurred upon his claws setting down onto that roof, there was little chance he wouldn't know right away...

--------------------

Drago proceeded back out, still unsure if he shouldn't have just teleported people here. This little roundabout excursion had taken a lot longer than the indicated five minutes. Unfortunately, that had likely been due to him having misinterpreted Millions' time scheme.

In any case, he didn't feel it necessary to draw things out any longer, requesting of the woman, "We appreciate your offer, but time is money. I'd be most grateful if we could get on our way as quickly as possible..."
