We already went over this. No one is out to get you, it was a misunderstanding about which concepts were open. It's already been fixed. And I'm not going to ask Lotus to reroll just because you don't feel special enough with another illusion controller on the team. That's unfair to her and its unreasonable of you to complain because someone else found something they wanted to play which happened to be similar to what you wanted to play.
Rather than give me time to ask Lotus to change her story or reroll or adjust your own attitude, you came here with your posts about how mean we are and you were leaving. This is my fun time, too, and you're making it unfun. Since you're already unhappy, I'll just make myself happy instead: You're off the team, period.

no sweat if i cant join this team. sure enough in game i was told one thing. but then again there are post here that are b4 the session even started last nite so thats how i feel "u let em".
anyway i just think we got off on the wrong foot. i'm a nice person and a capable player just lookin for a regular team. i have no experince with superteams or roleplaying so alot of this is new to me, really.
if me not bein on this team will make people happy i can respect that and wont bother the thread any further.

Good luck with that. Perhaps another theme team or super team would put up with the drama and whining. perhaps a super team composed of kindergarten teachers would be more adept at handling your tantrums.
Grow up and deal with it. People were more than willing to work with you but your incessant whining and drama made it not worth it.

Just wanted to clarify things a bit since you brought up the posts - look at the time stamps on the posts. One was 38 minutes before the team started, saying "Hey I'm in I want this concept", the other said, 1 minute before we started, "Sure, make up a background for a different concept."
There wasn't any double-talk or deliberate misleading about it, it was "Hm, we have a spot left, we've asked in the thread, someone responded but picked a concept already taken, let them work it in with the concept that's left." There also wasn't time to have them correct things immediately.
I was very surprised that you left so abruptly, and more surprised once I saw the post in here. I saw the powersets and - being a Scrapper - was looking forward to having both a /Rad and /Kin on the team.

Oh you are a grand little drama llama aren't you.
You started the drama, stoked the flames, and now are trying to pawn off the title of firestarter on to me.
Look at your posts. You are far from being innocent of starting any drama and began the flames long before.
As for who I am. I am the official 9th team member, off camera and behind the scenes. I built the base, helped with some of the concepts, and when poked with a stick I log on to provide off scene dialogue as De Profundis.
You refused to let it die by trying to get the last insult and word in on the matter. If you really wanted to let it be you would have done so but instead you wanted this. You wanted to drag it out. You wanted the drama. You wanted the flames.
The thing is that your comments were so stupid and childish that I couldn't sit back anymore and had to call you out on it.

Let's all just calm down. Mistakes were made, words were said, people got excited. There's no need to sling insults back and forth. It's too bad things didn't work out with Ghost, but these things happen. Lets not get too worked up over it. He misunderstood and reacted badly. Maybe it wasn't a good fit in the first place. Human interaction is laden with these sorts of pitfalls. That's a reason to stumble and make mistakes. But a protracted battle of words just makes us all look bad.
If it were up to me EG, I'd let your new character back in, if you could catch up in time to the content we want to do. But this is Text's baby, and I support her decisions 100%. So, sorry it didn't work out, but thanks for giving it your best. I'm sure you'll have other opportunities, and things will work out better for you down the road. Best of luck to you.
As for the rest of us, I think we'd be better served to back off from a hostile position. I don't think Ghost was looking for a fight, just an explanation of something he honestly did not understand. Lets give him the benefit of that doubt, and move forward gracefully, rather then descending into a pointless escalation of blame. Now that the explanation has been given, we should all be willing to move forward without any hard feelings on either side.

Cap is 15. We'll gain xp until we hit 16, then get exemp'd back down.
I will put in a empowerment station and make sure the right salvage is available to craft the invisibility thing.
besides, having an empowerment station is rather nifty.

Put me down as pro-Posi. Yes, it's a pain in the patoot for a group this size, but we've got a lot of vets and we can handle it, breaking it into multiple sessions if need be. Also, there's almost no other lvl 10-15 heroside content that we can all simultaneously grab.
Afterwards, I think the midnight squad arc would be quite appropriate for this group, plus the Faultline story. Then Croatoa? I don't really have a sense of how fast we'll burn through arcs after lvl 25 or so.

Also: Six years of casual play begins to look an awful lot like one year of hardcore play.
Croatoa is a must-see. I like Faultline, but I also think the Synapse TF is one of the best in the game. Good point about the Midnight Squad arc being appropriate, too.
I suppose if we hit level 50 too quickly, we can have reunion runs and flashback to things.
Also, I wanted to compliment Blood Spectre on his character. Beautifully understated costume, and her accent is perfect, making mine look triple-cheesy. (Zat's a Royale weez cheese, oui?) There are nice efforts on everyone's part, but I think Spectre wins the award for execution of concept.
