A Triptych: The Lives of Jen Rossum

I'm pretty sure I posted these before, when I first got them, but now they've been lovingly colored by a pal of mine who's much better with Photoshop than me.

Captain Photon, relatively early in his career, contends with a deathtrap set up by his arch-nemesis, the notorious Gen. Rossum. Actually, it's not much of a deathtrap - what kind of girl do you take her for? - but "moderateinconveniencetrap" doesn't look as good on a villain résumé.

It was only a matter of time before someone high up in Arachnos realized that Gen. Rossum was just biding her time until an opportunity presented itself to escape their vile clutches. When they did, they set her up to take the fatal kind of fall - but they didn't count on Captain Photon's capacity for mercy.

Answering the Bell

Not every hero would team up with his former archenemy on a more or less permanent basis. Fortunately for the newly minted Torch of Victory, Captain Photon isn't every hero. He has one strict rule, though: Now that she's no longer a general, Jen doesn't outrank him any more.

Wow, those are fantastic! And I'm not sure why, but "Take My Hand" just resonates.

I really need to find a way to be able to afford artwork commissions... So many art ideas, so little money...

Either that, or I start bartering my video talents in exchange for artwork... no idea how many artists would take me up on that, though.

I hereby propose that you and I start the "Broke-A** Commissioners'" Charity, a non-profit designed to provide artwork to underprivelaged forumites. Starting with ourselves, naturally.

Come on, people! Have a heart, give us art.

And they say there's no crossover in the game. (All role players/story-centric players know there already is).

The first one does show something we currently lack in this game though, the classic "death trap". It's very possible to add it in though, I'll wager.

All three great pieces! Very well done.

Well, in a sense, though if Jen had her druthers she'd really prefer to have her robots back. Setting stuff on fire is all well and good, but it lacks a certain... getting shot less that she appreciated about her Mastermind career.

Very nice pieces, overall very nicely done. I liked the last one the most wish there was actually a place in atlas to eat at like that. Would be lots of fun.
