The Official Guardian Hamidon Raid Thread

if some people on guardian wanted to step up to be team leaders we could try a hami raid next week. ive been running the blue mitos team and servere can run the tank team . but we would need others to step up and run the other teams. weve all done hami enough and know what is to be done. the thing is we would need to bring toons that would help out in the raid...we dont need 40 scrappers in the zone. the one thing that TA does is bring ATs that are needed. this is where we would have a problem.

Bob I'm with ya....doesn't matter to me what toon.

I'll plan to join you as usual, as long as real life doesn't interfere. I make it most weeks.

well thanks to all that showed up last night.for my first raid we did great...we had a couple deaths and 2 restarts but then finished off hami with no issues after that.thanks all for letting me take the raiding lead and going the distance with me.hopefully we'll get to do more now. i got alot of tells afterwards from people who would gladly do it anytime with me and i plan on it! and big thanks to lady b who started all the inviting to the hami raid in the first place.

i wanna say thanks to all the team leaders ,a few had their first times as well!

You did great Severe! There were a bunch of players new to Hami in the zone this evening. It was a challenge, but we pulled it off!

I had a blast! Servere did good even if he is a goober..Also would like to thank grim at one point my net flaked on me and i got dc'd. When I came back he had taken my spot and was helping buff servere.

It was a fun run (for my first) and Severe did a great job in coordinating and for all of us to stay with it after the initial difficulties.

TA was over leading a double raid for the public on the Pinnacle server as a guild event last night, but I anticipate at this point that we'll be back on Guardian next week. See you then!

Thanks to those who came out for the raid last night. Despite being a bit short on ranged damage, having more melee folks than we could shake a stick at, and my internet going out midway thru the raid, it was still successful thanks to some quick thinking on the part of my guildmates and the regulars. The time was around 18 minutes, I believe, although I didn't catch the exact end time (still rebooting my router at the time).

As always, special thanks to the support folks on my team, along with the team leaders: Grim Maligne, Celtic Apparition, Street Stalker, Fire Addict, Kiddygrade, and Lady Bellicose. And an extra special nod to Kiddygrade for jumping in to cover the Hami aggro when I lost connection to ensure the success of the raid.

Barring the unforeseen, TA will be leading next week, so we hope to see you there.

hey! i lead the monster team and took out the monster walll ( which people sent me tells about how much they loved it) and i covered kiddys mito after you dc'd and taunted 2 mitos for 2 weeks straight...btw wulf im gonna need a raise in my allowance!!!..lol


btw real life cuts into hami for me next week..the girlfriend is gonna be flying in to see me weds so ill be at the airport. good luck next week, ill be back the following week!

Thanks to everyone who came out tonight to set yet another record for the fastest public Hami raid. After a reasonable spawn time, we took Hami down from 50% and completed the raid in just 9 minutes! This is, again, the fastest public raid on any server that has been reported to date to my knowledge. Outstanding work...and shame on you who said that it couldn't be done at the outset when I announced our intentions. Don't doubt TA and the Wulf when it comes to the jell-o!

That's the plan, as far as I know, Bob. I may or may not be there, as I'll be attending Ash Wednesday services and may not get home in time. I'll check with my guildmates to see if they're going to be available, though, and will post here if we won't be able to lead it. Perhaps Serv would be willing to take the reins in that event.

Wednesday April 20th

Thnanks to everyone who came out to play with hami tonight. It took hami a while to show itself, then we had to fight major lagg issues throughout the raid.

As allways thanks Mal & IC as well as all the team leaders and support folks for making it another successful raid, and it is allways an honor to fill in for Wulfman when he is not able to be online.

Thanks to everyone who came out this past week for Hami. Unfortunately, lag was a significantly harder enemy to defeat than the Hamidon. We got it done, but it was awful in there for everyone involved. So kudos to everyone for sticking it out, and I hope everyone bugged it.

On that note, I likely will NOT use the League interface for this week's raid. It actually creates some of the lag, as does use of the Destiny powers. I'm hoping the devs take a serious look at this and get it fixed ASAP. But in the meantime, we're going to minimize it as best we can.
