Costume help
First thing I can think of is just put the flame aura on his head instead of smoldering. That is such an awesome concept on a character.

Wouldn't be much of a burnt matchstick now would he?
On that note, for a change of pace, perhaps white instead of black, and a traditional red match tip? I do like the flaming head idea.

Ooooh - no, no, there should be THREE.
One - burning brightly red/orange as strong as you can get fire to be
Two - burning delicately blue, faintly
Three - smoldering

if you use the rock face or one of the other ones w/ grey/black you can give it more of a burnt realism to it

My 50s:
Hero: Armor Assassin (scrapper), Cross Dresser (scrapper), Surly Seaman (blaster), Defensive End (Tank), Rad Rhino (Cont)
Villain: Beast Infection (Corr), Sweet Zombie Jesus (MM), Milk Weasel (Stalker), Orgullo (MM), Agent Eris (Crab)
Haven't fully gotten it where I want it, but Here's what I've come up with so far. Comments appreciated. Thanks!
Didn't like going that far from the original and brought it back to this. I do like having one flaming head and one smoldering head.
Also, I remade my blaster on virtue complete with brand new bio. I plan on having a different bio to go with each origin.
I just saw you there a little while ago and took a screenie of you.

Mwahaha, just got my pumpkinhead today, after 3-4 game sessions with nary a zombie invasion to be had I finally got to burn some zombies.
Burnt Pumpkinhead
And did anyone make a headless horseman/pumpkinhead character with the intent of getting this costume piece for them?
Very nice
Why thank ya!
Hope no one minds if I jump into this already established thread and ask for a hand. You see, I have finally decided to make my evil Kryptonian, and I need some help with the costume. If anyone read the Superman: Godfall story from a couple years back, you may know of who I speak. He was part of the Kandorian Police Force, Sergeant Preus.
I'm not all that great with inserting links though, so if ya google the word preus, he shows up there. Thanks for any help.
Willpower has more passive regen than Regen does. Who thought that was a good idea?
Can we get a fix for Energy Melee instead of more new sets?

Just a heads-up: using established characters will get your toon genericked if someone reports it. So you might want to rethink this plan.

Eh, not making him exactly, I just like the costume, and of course wont be an exact copy, just an homage of sorts, which, while in the grey area, is allowable.

It's an obscure enough character (from my point of view at least) that as long as you don't match the name *and* costume, you should be fine. This costume seems like you can make some semblance of. I might try to do it sometime if I have the time.
This costume seems fairly easy too. Just use the stone texture, maybe the circuitry pattern in yellow, and go from there.
Just posting with an update for my second bio for my Brute (and the only male). I also really really like how he looks in this screenshot. The flames turned out really beautifully.
Now that I'm getting into bios, I'm really starting to hit the wall of the bio character limit as you can tell when you read this. I still haven't thought of how I want to tie the others together. Haven't really even thought about their backstories just yet at all. I think I want to have one other involved in this house fire, and I haven't yet decided how it actually started. I just like the idea of one event, that's not even a huge event (aside from Emily's point of view), that effects the lives of several people in different yet parallel ways.
I kind of wish this thread wasn't called Costume Help, but I don't want to make a new thread because I don't like making new threads if there's an old one where this fits into perfectly fine.
Here's a shortened version of Burnt's bio that keeps the essence. I think it saves about 150 spaces or so:
As a young man, Heron had an unhealthy obsession with fire. He always had matchbooks in his pocket, often tossing them on the ground, not even looking back to see the results. He merely enjoyed the random chaos.
He always quested for bigger fires. Matchhead bombs, napalm, fertilizer bombs. Anything he could get his hands on. It was no surprise his fiery tendencies eventually got someone hurt, a young girl named Emily. He burned her down house with her in it.
He knew his handiwork when he saw the news story, watching her charred body carried from the house, still alive. He realized he needed to do something different. Yes, he needed a way to protect himself from the flaming destruction he caused.
He found a stuntman gel that burned yet didn't harm him. that ignited ideas for other experiments.

I have a costume concept and I was trying to think of an idea for a second costume slot. I have my Burnt Matchstick brute at level 33 and I'm in the mood to give him a second costume. Something a little different, to branch out. I would like to keep his helmet on, but other than that, feel free to go wild. (although if you could get a matchstick look with different costume pieces, I'd love to see it)
