Any steampunk heroes/villains out there?
Why, Doctor Castle seems quite handy with his remarkable blades. What a fine sight to see!
I love steampunk too but not many seem into that era...I don't have any screenies of Coal-Fired, my smoke-spewing coal-powered metal girl (dark/dark scrapper) but here is Bloomer Girl, wearer of Dr. Nichols' Patented Electro-Stimulating Corset, who uses her amazing electrical powers of vigour to fight for hygiene and dress reform.

That character is "WIN!" Major "WIN!" Love it. (Talking about Dr. Castle; Bloomer girl is cute too, though, but Masked Shrike is one of my favorites).

WARNING: I bold names.
Iron Chancellor isn't exactly steampunk per se, more like from the Age of Steam.
The original Iron Chancellor was Duke Aleksander Dieter, one of a handful of costumed European Mystery Men who bravely opposed the diabolical schemes and machinations of the archvillain Nemesis, the Prussian Prince of Automatons, during his reign of terror in Europe over 150 years ago.
The Iron Chancellor used his amazing mentalism powers and mastery of the mysterious shadow ether to battled Nemesis forces whenever they threatened the safety of his beloved Austria.
With the apparent re-emergence of Nemesis during the 20th Century the Iron Chancellor has returned to do battle once more. It is unknown whether this incarnation of the Iron Chancellor is the original Duke Dieter, or a new costumed hero assuming the mantle and powers of the original Iron Chancellor.
But whoever this costumed hero is, the forces of Nemesis should beware.
The Iron Chancellor has returned with a vengeance!
Bloomer Girl is ingenious! The link isnt working for the good Chancelloer
Here's Steamshot, an old British Big Game Hunter spun out of his time and dimension by his friend, Charles Babbage, and the scientist's young protege, H.G.Wells. He carries with him the Sullivan & Drake Gemini Mark VI Automated Ammunition Adjusting (AAA) Steam Rifle (with all the most pertinent upgrades, of course).
It was fun getting him that rifle at level 1, lemme tell you. I really do need to work up a full Virtueverse page for him, though.
zenvious, Comrade.. 10/10!
The steam driven automaton/battle support and close range combat construct known as Skender
He was built by Velocity of the Guardian Force as 'backup' when she was engaged with multiple targets in the field. However, strange things happen when constructs are given a name, especially when it's Ravendown, an avatar of the goddess Morrigan, a celitic goddess of battle, who's handing out the names...
Now Skender has his own free will and has recently modified himself to refine his close quarters combat ability in addition to further testing the limits of his original support functions.

I don't recall if I mentioned it when you posted earlier, but that is an awesome rendition of an utterly cool concept.

Man, that is one terrific design. Love.
Even though my namesake character uses the Steampunk outfit (because his armor is handmade in his uncle's garage), I don't think I have an actual steampunk character. Which is odd, given the sheer number of automatons that I've created. How I missed this, I don't know. the closest I come is my long-lived adventurer John Bull, but he's more proto-Pulp than steampunk.
Edit: Oh, you know what, I actually did make a steampunk character, but deleted her. Her name was Iron Angel, a name I snagged in anticipation of the addition of mechanical wings. But when I saw the high-tech look of the wings, I decided the name didn't fit, so deleted her. Strange how I totally forgot her until just now.

I'd like to echo the love for Skender. That's one of the best robot designs I've seen.
Hurled through time during a spectacularly botched attack on a Nemesis stronghold, three men now use their bizarre and outmoded technology to survive in a very different world.

As the kids say, "Oh em gee!" Love the designs, love the concept. Now I don't even want to attempt a steampunk character. I am intimidated!

[RP Virtue]Psi: Bwaha. Getting the final hit with [Kick] is awesome. It's just like "*Kick Crotch* *crumple over*"
The Legend of America, the Black Book Detective, Dr. Simon Castle and Cpt. Endyion Graves. It's as if the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen had opened up a Paragon City Chapter.
There is something about playing with a group of like-minded players which makes it so thrilling. Especially when they RP as their characters

An American version of the LoEG?
Wow, now I really want to make a steampunk-style character. Seriously, you all have amazing designs for your characters.
Looking great there! Now I want to play my Steampunkian girls again...
BTW, there is a Victorian-era themed SG on Protector, the SPI. And yes, it is fun to have a bunch of them running around

D'awww...thanks! Skender's probably my second favorite character behind my two mains that are tied for 1st.
Nice to see the creative ways folks are bringing the 'punk into City of.
Steam Pharaoh
Basically my main toon(Millennium-Man)'s arch nemesis (Maximillion Montague) created this steam powered monstrosity to finally put an end to MM. Unfortunately it was so large that the boiler could not be heated sufficently to move it. Undiscouraged, Montague searched for a hotter heat source. In an ancient text just delivered from one of his artifact hunting teams he read of The Black Flame of Set, a magical unquenchable flame said to burn hotter than the sun. Once it was in his posession he inserted the black flame into his robot unaware the the spirit of a long dead pharoah resided in the flame. The pharaoh awoke at long last seizeing the mechanical body as his own and broke free of Montague to cut his own bloody path to power.

Actually, it takes you to the page to log in to continue to his myspace gallery. Myspace pictures aren't visible to those who do not have myspace accounts. If you do have a myspace account and log in, it will show you the screenie. Great costume btw. But anyway, think about hosting it somewhere other than myspace since myspace is stupid about that stuff. (Yes, I admitted to having a myspace and then called it stupid)
