Theme/Concept: The DNS has to sides to it coin, one is the side it shows to the public. This is the DNS of old. The one that has earned it the respect and fear it has on the street level The Devils Night Crime Syndicate. This gang of thugs, pushers, bank robbers and arsonists, is well known for its attacks on order as well as its parties. The Devils seems to have one goal. Dragging the city that they are in at the time into an abyss of crime and mayhem.
The other side of the coin is the corporate side, known as DNS Holdings. It is from here that most of the money and political power flows into the organization. DNS Holdings has its hands in a few small companies and minor political endeavors. Just like the street level of the organization, this half also seeks to sow discord.

Five Minutes to Midnight - Rogue Isles
Currently Recruiting: We are a new VG, and while we have a small core membership, we are looking to expand. We are always looking for interesting, intelligent, mature players.
RP Level: Medium to well-done. This is an RP group. Furthermore, many of the members enjoy (and prefer) writing fiction for their characters. The emphasis on fiction is important. We are looking for consistent, immersive, realistic RP. However, we wont boot you for occasional OOC lapses, and we enjoy getting to know the people beyond the characters.
PvP Level: As an VG, we do not PvP though we have members who enjoy it, and do so on a semi-regular basis. PvP events can be available by request, if desired by members.
SG Concept
IC: Five Minutes to Midnight is a VillainGroup and SuperGroup whose explicit purpose it is to prevent the greater disasters; from nuclear war to the Greenhouse Effect, to the greater magical threats, it put before it as a goal nothing les than the greater preservation of the world, and mankind.
We dont care if, on the way, youve robbed a bank. Neither do we care that youve saved an old ladys purse. We look for individuals of a greater worldview and wider scope, those people who would be willing and able to do whatever it takes for the purpose of the ultimate greater good. Ours is a larger, and much heavier, responsibility than stopping the next heist or saving the next dumpster. Ours is also the understanding that petty crimes, sometimes even violent crimes, do not necessarily create monsters, and even those who rob banks, or destroy innocent dumpsters, may be responsible individuals with an eye to the future.
OOC: The group exists in two incarnations; the Paragon division, and the Rogue Isles division. Both work towards and for the same purpose, and share the same leadership. We encourage crossover of members who wish to create redside alts, but we do not necessitate it. It is entirely plausible to have some members in one branch and not another.
We are looking, generally, for the kind of heroes and villains who would be willing to take unorthodox paths to achieve their goals, and cooperate with the other side to do so. The group usually looks for the kind of characters for whom their primary weapon is not necessarily their powers or firearms, but their minds, their initiative and personality. we expect members to act independently; the leaders prefer to keep a light touch.
Requirements: There are no AT or level requirements, and no real background requirement so long as the character fits, or could potentially fit, with the overarching theme. Though the SG/VG is affiliated with the Midnight Squad, membership in it is only preferred, not required.
We do employ an application process that will involve either posting a biography, going through an in-game interview, or both. We expect a certain level of activity in that we dont want to see characters left abandoned for a year but most members have a life, and we wont require particular sign-in periods.
Activity: Since this is a new SG that does not, yet have many members, the play times can be sporadic, though we certainly hope to expand that to a wide presence as membership grows. We do have players who chiefly play Europe time (in fact, the founders of the SG do), but they can be found logged on at times convenient for the American public, either during weekends or if it had been arranged beforehand. As membership increases, we will run teams, TFs and RP events as we see fit.

The Rogues are a concept-driven RP-Lite to RP-Friendly VG looking for intelligent, creative players that enjoy concepts, masks, monologues, machiavellian schemes, and a good old fashioned bank robbery or two. We are a costumed bunch of burglars involved with everything from mad science, magic, one-liners, gimmicks, disgruntled super-men, rogue mutants, high-tech capers... whatever blows your hair back. There's this thing we're all familiar with called "comic-book-evil". If slaughter, [censored], mistreating kittens, [censored], [censored], [censored] and all of that stuff is your bag, this isn't the VG for you. The good guys and the bad guys always get away for future episodes.
Activity:
The nature of any MMO is that folks come and go as life's pressures dictate. If you're lucky, you find a place your character can call home and make some great and memorable friends along the way. We have at least a dozen unique members, but honestly, this is what recruiting is about. We're looking to expand our operations and are keeping an eye open for some goal oriented go-getters to get things back in the swing. There is always someone lurking in the global channel, across a span of time zones. Prime time, 8pm EST 5pm PST to the wee hours is typically when you'll find us cavorting about. Most of us are blue-collar working villains looking to unwind after a hard day slaving away at the DMV.
We're in there in the top 100 VG's. I don't know where as we don't keep count, but... we aren't small beans. We've been around for a while and the base (Warehouse 13) is so immersively rp-awesome that you'll be monologing in no time.

Wolves of War
Wolves of War is a PvP/PvE VG on Virtue. The aim of the VG is to create a unified PvP VG that we can call upon each other for fun in zones like Siren's Call, Warburg, & Recluse's Victory. We run daily PvE events such as 'Cap Runs,' 'LRSF,' 'MLRSF,' and other random SF's. Our ventrilo server is always active, and have a regular group of guys/gals that are friendly and willing to help with anything.
We perfer that all our members have sometype of interest in PvP. Would like all our members to sign up on the forums and if possible sign in our ventrilo server for better communication amoung the group.

Theme/Concept: A New organization has arisen in the isles. At it's surface, its goals and purpose seem simple. All of those who are outside of the Order of Society. Those Society calls criminals, supervillians, mad, depraved, are offered membership. On the surface it seems like nothing more then the perfect format for a metahuman crime organization. Below the surface, and to those in the know, those with more intelligence, who see past the outer circle, the Organization is so much more. It offers a new way of life, a New Order. This new Ministry, will impose it's will over the isles, and woe be to any who stand in it's way.
The Ministry of Order is a Villain Group located on the Virtue Server that falls into the realm of Classic Comic Book Supervillains, with alittle more complexity to them. Following in the footsteps thematically of such groups such as Flash and Batman's Rogues, Spiderman's Sinister Six, the Injustice Society, and the Injustice Gang, the Ministry is a catch all Super Villain group that takes things further with it's eventual goal of complete domination and restructuring of the Rogue Isles.
Activity: At the moment, we have regularly active members. Our hours of play are between 8 pm PST until we grow tired and pass out at our computers(7AM+).
Requirements for Membership: The character you want in for the group must be highly skilled in what they do. May it be an assassin, a guard or even intel gathering, just as long as the character remains faithful to the group. We're looking for loyal individuals, but not blind followers. Thinking for yourself is not only encouraged, but required. Characters have different motives for joining the VG and it is widely accepted that the character joins to use the group to not only assist in the group's goals but as well as their own. Another requirement we have is the character is highly intelligent as most of the groups characters are scholars and interested in gathering more knowledge.
Other requirements we have include that your character must be active in the VG. We would like to see your character logged in at least every couple of days and spend some time with us for RP as we are looking for main characters to be joining the group instead of only alts. However, we know that many have a collection of alts as well and it is fine to make an alt for the group as long as you keep it active in the VG.
Many people in the group are laid back and love to have fun OOC. We crack jokes at each other, etc. But we require that people of course respect each other. We are a drama free group and we would like to keep it that way.

Theme/Concept: The DNS has two sides to its coin; one is the side it shows to the public. This is the DNS of old. The one that has earned it the respect and fear it has on the street level; The Devils Night Crime Syndicate. This gang of thugs, pushers, bank robbers and arsonists, is well known for its attacks on order as well as its parties. The Devils seem to have one goal. Dragging the city that they are in at the time into an abyss of crime and mayhem.
The other side of the coin is the corporate side, known as DNS Holdings. It is from here that most of the money and political power flow into the organization. DNS Holdings has its hands in a few small companies and minor political endeavors. Just like the street level of the organization, this half also seeks to sow discord.

Currently Recruiting: We are currently recruiting heavy Roleplayers of all levels and ATs.
RP Level: Heavy, but of course some things are better discussed OOC.
PvP Level: Light-ish. We periodically set up RP-based casual PVP events against rivals, in particular our in-house rivals The Global Guard. Please note that participation in our PvP events is highly encouraged but ultimately not required. The RP and RPvP encounters between the Society and the Guard will also be planned out when possible, either at the Monday night meetings or on the SS forums. I do want to stress though that these encounters are of a casual, fun nature, and no pwns j00 type actions or excessive RP drama will be tolerated or encouraged. In addition, most of the time the encounters will have set outcomes anyway, so PVP skill level, numbers of players, or character levels will rarely be a deciding factor.
Theme/Concept: The Supreme Society is a group of comic book style supervillains, similar to DC's Secret Society/Legion of Doom or an evil version of the modern Marvel Squadron Supreme. Through annihilation of problems or assimilation of potential, they seek to remove the competition, such as local rivals in the Rogue Isles or the heroic forces of Paragon. Once this is accomplished (hey, a guy can plan longterm >.>
and the Supreme Society is the dominant force, those operating under the Society banner will be able to go about their schemes as they please.
Activity: We have about 20 active players (many more less so) and are looking to expand. Primary hours seems to be after 9PMish, EST, but many members have different schedules.
Requirements for Membership: You must be a heavy roleplayer. Your character must be a comic book style supervillain with a sensible background. Potential recruits will go through a brief OOC/IC interview before joining.

Other Details: VG meetings are Monday nights at 10:30PM, EST. Wednesday night is a VG activity night, starting at 10PMish, EST. Said activities range from running RP missions to RP and/or RPvP encounters with rivals, that sort of thing. The base is up and fully functional. Alts are allowed, and members of the Society are allowed (and encouraged) to have a character in the Guard. We also have a private channel set up to bridge both groups.
We are also in the process of establishing a Supreme Society Junior Division known as the Teen Tyrants. The Tyrants are a separate VG coalitioned with the Society. They will be a training ground of sorts for evil teens, and they will work alongside and occasionally be mentored by the members Society.
