I'm done messing with the voice track of Donuts, it still kind of sucks but I don't want to delay it any more.

So I began work in Making "Donuts", the documentary of how it all happened! Hear Fusionette screw up her lines over and over again, mainly, but also interviews with all the actors that made it possible, such as Lee T. Gamir, who was the body double for Statesman!

Ya got me! (Though I have to warn you, I'll probably forget again pretty soon. Gender is about as important as shoe size around here and you've got a female avatar to help throw me off.)

LOL - Any misdirection was purely unintentional. When I signed up here, I had three toons: Goldstar, Nova Healer and Star Dancer. The other two names were taken, so I went with Star. After that, like you said, gender don't really matter so I just used the pic that went with the toon.

Next guessing game: My age and weight! {laugh}

Wow! The number of views on Babytoons really shot up. Good vid, well deserved.

Does anyone know who gets to vote starting the 18th? Is it just anyone or do they have to sign up on GT? The answer's probably buried in that quagmire they call rules...

My entry "Infinite Dark" is up on Gametrailers. Still needed all the legal approval to kick in but you guys can have a look and provide feedback in the meantime.

I noticed that, too as I have been watching all the videos over there you guys are doing. Great job! I also noticed that the ones with the 2 highest #s of votes are listed in the "featured user movies" section. Is that fair to the others? I know voting isn't "officially" started but that does draw more attention to them for people to return and vote who might not be looking at the contest page but watching the "featured" section of videos. Just a thought! And yes, Babytoons is great and so are the others.

Awesome. Impressive production values and well directed. One of my favorites.

Although from what I've heard about the halloween event on test, it's too bad that you couldn't get access to that for the zombie scenes.

Thanks guys! It was definately a learning and "making up as I went along" process.

Actually, I originally wanted to use the Halloween zombies but they didn't really look "big and bad" enough. So the BP worked out pretty well and I worked it into the story.

I used yours as a base Star, and tweeked it to include 'digital' recording and a section specifically for the contest.

I'm in the same boat. Last weekend was a family reunion, then been working 10 hour shifts, have to work Saturday as well.

I've been getting up at 5 every morning just to get a little extra work done.

So I got a question because I really don't feel like digging through this thread. What are we allowed to use in terms of music?

Well, a ton of pretty negative comments on mine. They hit Amanda's voice harder than I hoped. Well, too late now to redo anything.

Ok, just went through all the comments, checked out each of the bad reviewers profiles. 90% of them had 0 videos..... put up or shut up? The 2 that did have vids reminded me of a Kevin Costner movie (post Silverado)

Of course, I have a hero whose super power is fueled by donuts so I might be biased.

And don't think I didn't catch Leo lounging in the background of the one shot.

Yeah, you need to ignore those comments. A lot of those posters aren't willing to put the effort into learning how to do this sort of thing, so all they do is cut down the ones that actually do it.

The rest are just naughty children scrawling bad words on a wall.

Pity we don't have a way to turn off comments, like on YouTube.

Anywho, the ones that get flagged as "Featured" are drawing the most poo-poo. The lazy ones only watch those.

And in the end, none of that monkey-flung stool counts as far as the contest goes. They'll be back in school by the time the voting begins, or they'll forget to take their Ritalin and won't vote anyway.

Tell Amanda that we loved her as Fusionette. Unless you know the character, you don't fully appreciate how well she fit the role. She was pretty darn good. Not the Hannah Montana singing though... Tell her to never do that again. Seriously.
