Step 2.) Gently place them back in the sling.
Step 3.) Hand off to father and threaten to use blunt trauma if child does not simmer down.
Step 4.) Check mirror to see what hair has not been yanked out.
Step 5.) Return to game.
See if those work.

Ah, the first day of school, it was always the second one when you got the call from them letting you know your child threw up in the middle of the hall and needs to be picked up.
First day wasn't too bad here, although he was only in an hour.
They say duct tape is cruel, but I say they aren't using it right. If used properly, you only need to use duct tape once! and then just the memory will suffice for the future.

I remember a guy being taped to a bench in the locker room, when I was in high school.
Sophmore PE, one of the guys mocked a Junior that was retaking the class.

Why am I not surprised?
I was voted most likely to be arrested for theft, because I'd steal everyone's lotion and desmellysticks so they'd have to walk around school smelling bad.
In other news, I get to babysit this weekend while my friends go out galavanting. Woohoo I get the twins and my rentsharer's baby all to myself!
I wanted to throw rocks at the preppy chicks heads to see if their hair spray would stand up to it.. but my aim wasn't that great.. It's the thought that counts.

I was always the dorky one until Senior year in HS when I fell in with a BAD crowd.

I was the total outcast 
friends with everyone, but not in any of the groups.
I was a jock who played video games and D+D and read comics. A lot of people didn't quite know what to make of me.
Technically I could guess you could throw me in with the Geeks or the Nerds, but I knew so many of the Jocks that I was safe on that front. Hell during my Junior and Senior years, Freshmen knew who I was, yet I have no clue who they were. I mean I lived about 10-15 miles outside of town, and only lived there for 5 years, and wasn't active in any activities at school.
I seemed to be the only girl who read and collected comicbooks. I started collecting at the ripe old age of 6. To hell with being a Princess, I wanted to be a Mutant!!

Hey everyone.
I have one kid not including my hubby . Tyler is 21 mths old and is a handful. As I'm sure most first time parents think. I stay home with him, but I'm not sure how much longer we can afford it, though. Not sure of what else to say other than it's nice to see a thread for us parents that like to play.
Welcome to the boards and congrats on a nice family. We are very fortunate in that one of us can stay with the kids while the other is the breadwinner. (Could say he Tanks the breadwinning job well. ) We know it is difficult now (has it ever been easy?) for many families and you will make the decision that is best for you.
