I have a kin def that I like to break out every now an dthen just for sillies. Repel has so many uses.

Perhaps my favorite thing was to stand at the edge of a building, TP a mob to the edge of the roof, slide up close and launch them. Repeat til they have only a sliver of health left, TP, brawl... find next victim.

Also, trying to launch mobs over the police drones and into the central part of Atlas is fun.

If you have TP Foe I have something fun for you to try.

Go to Skyway near the Yellow Line. Teleport one of the Trolls below up into the air just behind a Police Drone. He'll drop out of range of the drone before it can fire. Then the Drone leaps after him and proceeds to kill anything that gets near it. When done it will casually hop up to its starting position.

Police Drones are mobile. So are the Arbiter Drones. I saw one of those hunt down the Ghost of Scrapyard once.

One of the game's design flaws is that too much of the mission text is only exposed to the team leader.

Not really. You just have to look for it. By clicking on the "Explosion" next to any mission's short description (including the current active mission) the window will pop open that has the whole mission's "story" in it as it was displayed when the mission owner received it.

I just discovered this little thing after over two years of playing. I used to have to go into the missions tab, find the mission, and then click "more." Now I can do all that in one fell swoop, hooray!

I have fun with this... when I play with my RL friends, we use Vent. As the team leader, I read the mission description in a dramatic voice. It's particularly entertaining with missions from female contacts... my friends think it's a riot.

That is a fantastic idea! 5 invisible stars for you.

Tonight someone on the Justice server made a bunch of Lethargic Repose IOs and ran around the Cap market shouting, "Take a teddy bear and be happy" in local as he passed the IOs around. If you're not familiar, the Lethargic Repose sleep IOs are the ones with the teddy bear on them. So funny! Thanks Koralith!

The first year CoH was out, my friends and I all made Santa and Elves costumes and went to every store in a zone and bought racks of enhancements. Then we stood in a busy location in the zone and Broadcast that Santa and his helpers had arrived to pass out gifts. We passed out enhancements and ifluence to everyone who came to see it. It was loads of fun. We visited a new zone every night for a week.

Along the lines of Hellion Golf, mentioned before, I do this for accuracy now, instead of distance. The other day I had my lvl 50 En blaster power push clocks onto the roof of Wentworth's in AP. I giggled like a mad man doing it.

The other thing I have done in the past.. driving some people crazy because I am old and they are young and they just don't get the reference:

Go to Skyway, wander around the southern end of the map, and broadcast/local chat "Has anyone seen Marshall, Will, or Holly?... Anyone?" See how many people get the reference.

Go get my Kin/ Defender or /Kin 'Troller, go into the sewers, and play guardian angel. SB, ID, FS & Heal sewer teams. Take a team of 2s & 3s entering the sewers (follow, not join), SB all of em, watch them charge into that first group of lvl 5 Hellions, hit Fulcrum Shift, watch the carnage... follow them, repeat...

An Empath works too.

Repel can be the source of a lot of fun. My buddy and I have pulled out our Kin Defenders and played Hellion soccer many, many times. There's a nice little park in Atlas that works well for this . . . SCORE!!!!!

With the Good vs. Evil Jump Jet, see how far you can jump in one shot . . . Start at one end of Steel and launch!

Have each of you create a new character, and have a race around Atlas, seeing who can collect all the badges and get back to the City Representative first. For something a little more challenging, have level 2 characters race from the Atlas platform to Portal Corp in PI and back.

LOCAL MAN! The most famous hero of all. There are more newspaper stories about me than anyone else. "Local Man wins Medal of Honor." "Local Man opens Animal Shelter." "Local Man Charged with..." (Um, forget about that one.)
