What more do you need? I showed you everything I have.. for my Fire Kin Build.
A guide explains the powers and mechanics of a build, it doesn't just say "get these powers and slot it this way".
wow, what an eye opening and awe inspiring guide!
I would like to subscribe to your news letter and recive special offers by mail!
Well I guess.. um... is a short and sweet guide. Wanna have a Fire Kin like me?
Do whats in that pic.
lol
I think he means that this is the place for guides, not builds.
Guides explain all the powers you can take, what works with what and why. That sort of thing.
No one who doesn't know about the build is going to have any idea why you took what you did, and what else they could have taken.
Some people like to post builds, but the guide section is not the place for it.
Best guide ever.
"the reason there are so many sarcastic pvpers is we already had a better version of pvp taken away from us to appease bad players. Back then we chuckled at how bad players came here and whined. If we knew that was the actual voice devs would listen to instead of informed, educated players we probably would have been bigger dicks back then." -ConFlict
I've never had a Fire/ controller before, could you please explain to me what the powers do? Also: What pool powers did you pick? The build looks interesting, but I'm unsure as to how it plays. Would you please elaborate?

Well this guide is absolutely amazing! I love how everything was explained and how you gave alternate Choices. Kudos to you! You can -always- send me e-mails of new guides because yours are absolutely amazing!
You cant catch a break can you P_P? I do agree that this might not have been the best place for the post, but I had always what your build looked like and now I know.
Badging in a PvP zone?
If you are treasure hunting on a battlefield wearing an enemy uniform, there is a high probability that you will be attacked.

The question here becomes, "How do we know that we want a character like Pain's in the first place?" I mean, where's the rationale?
How do we know you're good at what you do? Why do these sets make these powers better? How do they stack up to what you used to have? Why in fact do you recommend these powers....?
What do you use this alt for? Farming? Soloing missions? Team play only? What? What does it do well?
There is just no rationale here.
So basically, if I have between 750 Million and a Billion influence or about 250 Million and 200 hours of farming time, I can build a really powerful Fire/Kin Controller. I'll get right on that.
Perfect_Pain, my only suggestion is to post this info using Mid's Hero Designer. That would be helpful to me.
I suppose, slotted up like that, Ring of Fire could be useful for something other than single-target containment, but honestly? I'd rather just have Siphon Power.
Actually, slotted like that, I'd rather take Siphon Power over Fire Shield.
I suppose if you're solo, not having ID is all right.
I'm uncertain as to the benefits of Siphon Speed+Super Speed+Swift, seeing as Super Speed alone will let you hit the run cap. On the other hand, there's very little vertical movement without temp powers.
Siphon Speed's nice for the slow effect, but Hot Feet can do the same. Siphon Speed's run boost, however, does seem to make Super Speed a bit redundant; the Stealth effect is decent enough from SS, but there's nothing like Steamy Mist to stack it with; does it have Celerity +Stealth?
For vertical movement coupled with any of the run speed powers, why not pick IR? It's superjump, can get by with just one slot (or two, if you want to put in Unbounded Leap +Jump and +Stealth), and doesn't really need a recharge.
I question the need for Stamina, particularly in light of Transference and Consume.
I'd honestly skip out of Combat Jumping and go with Leadership/Maneuvers and Leadership/Tactics, since you'd be able to put both of the Combat Jumping IOs in there, and it'd provide a nice benefit to your team, imps, and yourself. Add in nice effects from Adjusted Targeting, and...
Wouldn't it also make sense to make use of some HamiOs with the Dam/Mez aspect for some of those powers?
IMO The build is perfect.
Everything I need is in it. I solo Farm set to 6 or 8 with it. I also Team with it.. but rarely I admit. I can solo any foes (set to 4 or 6) non-gm or non-AV.. but I havent tried soloing AVs with this build.
All the powers I chose are for a specific set bonus addition.
There should be a section of the forum for builds.
If you have any questions about the build you can PM me.
If you're just posting a build, you should do so in the appropriate AT forum.

Bingo!
P.S. Don't worry, O.P. I once made this same mistake and everyone also ripped my ars. Lesson learned. I can only imagine quite a few people learn the Guide Lesson at one time or another. Just consider this your turn.

In summation:
Max Health = +11.65%
Recovery = +19.5%
Regeneration = +62%
Damage = +15.5%
Recharge = +70%
Fear Duration -2.2%
Fire/Cold Resistance +8.82%
Healing +4%
Slow Duration = +3%
Max Endurance = +6.3%
Immobilize Duration = -5.5%
Accuracy = +45%
Couple the Recharge with the Hasten, and you get the powers coming back phenomenally fast, and add in the effects from Siphon Speed...
Accuracy at +45% lets you, more or less, hit things most of the time, meaning that Tactics isn't as needed. So I can see why that's not there, but I had to do all the math to get to the point.
There's the same issue with Siphon Power--it seems that you only got a +6.25% recharge boost from picking up Ring of Fire, which I don't know is a good trade over the damage boost that stacked Siphon Power would have given. Then again, with an overall +15.5% damage boost...
