40 characters in 30 days

Ok, it's finally done. My big picture for my November Sale is finished. I set aside the month of November for this sale, and was overwhelmed by the response I got. If I recall, I think I got 40 requests in the first 10 days. I had to shut it down after that, I knew that 40 would be a tough mark to meet.

I want to thank everyone who let me take a stab at their character. Some of you might remember that I tried something similar almost a year ago, and am happy with the improvements I've made since then.

So, without further adieu, I give you The City of Heroes (and sometimes Villains)!

((Things I learned from doing this:
1. 40 characters is alot, next time I'll break it up into smaller groups.
2. A month is a longtime, lot's of stuff changes in that time and it's easy to let a big project get away from ya.
3. Pre-sketched templates are a big help.
4. Pre-sketched templates only help so much.
5. I actually enjoy doing 'flats' now.
6. I still don't enjoy baggy pants.
7. I like short hair - don't like long hair.
8. Communicating with 40 some-odd people is TOUGH (sorry if emails weren't quickly replied to).
9. My wife now believes me when i say that 'someday, I might possibly maybe perhaps make a living at something similar to this."
10. You all are great! Thanks for the support.))

Now, I just have to save my pennies/nickels/dimes for your next big sale.

Congrats dude! I love the poster, but can I make a small suggestion? I dont know how hard it would be to rearrange everyone, but if you make it into a landscape format that would make a really cool desktop background.

Gratz man--you've come a long way and deserve the accolades you've been getting. Not only is it good, but it is relatively fast. Actually more than good, you know, you've developed a really fine style.

Congratulations man! You really pumped em out! Also huge props for keeping the quality the same throughout. It would be easy for a person to slack off after the first several ones. /em clap

Yeah Big, I thought about doing this. I did it for my Virtue Universe, but this one was just looking too big for a stretch like that. People seemed to like it scrolling down.

Yay! It turned out great, as always!

Juggertha,

I just have to say that my first impression of you was a very rough, but talented artist. Since then you have completely refined your style and I am blown away by what you are doing. You are putting out incredible work and I can't wait to see more.

Thanks a lot Longer.

Honestly though, I think I'm still working on 'my style'. It seems to be a never ending process.
