What the heck is Black Friday? My father say's it's make or break time for American stores for the holidays (if they make good revenue on that day, it'll mean they'll be in the black for the rest of the year), but there's some funky stuff being said on one radio commercial about it being something else entirely.

Very strange.

Btw, refering to the end cartoon.

Win Custom Art from David Nakayama!

Acclaimed comic artist David Nakayama has agreed to indulge us in a raffle at the San Jose Meet and Greet. All M&G attendees can enter to win a free custom piece of art from David Nakayama. Ten people will be randomly selected at the M&G in a drawing to win this awesome prize!

The Scoop has reserved two spots for those of you who won't be able to make it to San Jose on November 30!

Going?

If you're coming to Dave & Busters on November 30, bring a printed color copy of your favorite character, present it at The City Scoop table, and we will give you a shiny raffle ticket in exchange. You must show your printed screenshot to be entered into the raffle. Every thirty minutes, Lighthouse or Ex Libris will draw a name and announce the winners to be sketched live at the show!

Feel free to bring your Top Cow comics for autograph goodness, too!

Not Going?

If you can't make it to the event, email a screenshot of your favorite character to thecityscoop@gmail.com Include your name, global address, email address, and your character's name in the email. Include a brief description of your character's personality (no more than a paragraph, please). Two lucky people who couldn't make it to the event will win this chance to have their character drawn by David Nakayama!

The deadline for this amazing contest is November 30, so don't delay!

The correct email address for submissions to The City Scoop is thecityscoop@gmail.com if you have already made a submission please resend to this address, Thank you.
