Cool I guess, but look at the competition! EVE is good, the rest... not so much.

lol, so CoX got pigeonholed into Sci-Fi MMO, oh well it's good publicity either way I guess, EvE kind of kicks themselves in the marketing department a bit. But either way congrats! 
Well, at least there *is* competition....
What else, "GvE #1 superhero MMO?"

[/ QUOTE ]Im shocked to see matrix at number 5 being how bad it was when it first came out.And yes its still running and i have a couple of friends that say that it has greatly improved.And Gratz to the devs for getting the number 1 spot.
I'd like to see CoX compared against the actual competition.

but then... is a superhero that flies, is indestructable, slings webs, has mutant powers,etc... Sci-fi? Or fanatasy?

As someone who's played both, I can definetly say Tabula Rasa is better then MxO. (And I actually liked Matrix Online. I just don't play it anymore due to money and hard drive issues)
So how does CoH rate against others? Is it number 2 against WoW for over all MMOs? But on a happy note grats on being number one in sci-fi games
I guess that with a game that's more than Sci-Fi (would magically based heroes/villains considered to be from the realm of Science Fiction?), it's hard to pigeon-hole it.
I've known this for a while. Quite honestly, this is--and always has been--the reason I play CoH. I sat down a couple years ago to look for a good sci-fi MMO, and this was the best I could do.

And who says WoW is any better? Just bc WoW has a larger player base doesn't make it better. Just more popular. Big difference there.

CoH would beat the crap out of WoW any day of the week... well, to me they would. You see, people have a hard time distinguishing the difference between 'Good' and 'Favorite'. WoW has more people and is surely more popular than CoH, but CoH is clearly a much better MMO and is significantly less repetitive.
