Good stuff X-9! I've actually got a great Kevin Pollack story that goes right along with that bit. My business partner and I saw him perform it as part of his routine when he was in town a couple of years ago. After the show we're standing around outside the comedy club shooting the breeze with our dates and Pollack himself comes walking up to us and asks "Hey what are you guys doing tonite? Mind if I tag along?" To which my date responded, and I quote "[censored] no!" We spent the rest of the night at one of the upscale joints downtown hanging out with Mr. Kevin Pollack himself. When he found out we operated a movie memorabilia business he told us a great story about how he "accidently" got into the film industry. Funny guy. Total blast to hang out with. The only catch was he called his wife and made us all talk to her. He explained that this was her way of making sure he wasn't cheating on her, if he wasn't in his hotel room when she called on nights he was out of town, he had to call her and let her speak to the people he was hanging out with. To this day I have no idea if he was serious or not.
Anyway, my partner and I like to mess with each other by calling the other's cell saying random stuff when the other answers and hanging up. Ever since that show "Frankenstein never scared me..." has been a favorite random qoute staple.
All I can say is, if you ever go to see Kevin Pollack perform at a comedy club, it might be worth hanging around outside the club afterwards, you could wind up hanging out with a movie star for the evening.
