Stan and Lou -- More COH audio

While Castillo didn't sound as I imagined him, it was still perfect in every other way. "You tried to blow up the reactor with COOLANT?"

I imagine the next few episodes to be in Astoria for the Pantheon, Striga for the pronunciation and the Council (unless you're holding off the Council for the vampyrs and Warwolves - a vampyr with a German accent would be great) and at least one in Croatoa.

German vampires? Don't be silly: everybody knows where vampires come from, and it's not Germany.

I forgot to comment on this. Have I ever made mention of the Council so far? I've been avoiding the name for a reason.

Nice job with Castillo. He is probably one of my favorite AVs in the game and you did an amazing interpretation of him.

And honestly, I can't wait to find out what that reason is.

The Abrams is one of the most effective war machines on the planet. - R. Lee Ermy.

Q: How do you wreck an Abrams?

A: You crash into another one.

Because the Council are lame?

That goes without saying, but I'll bet Hertz has something special in store.

I know the 5th Column was mentioned in one episode. I thought the council was mentioned then but I could be misremembering. It was one of the early episodes.

Not so much no. He's mentioned the 5th Column several times (Talos and Boomtown right off the top of my head) but never a word of council.

Clearly, a Dormatory. Why yes, indeed... a Deliciously Demented Dormatory of Defenders!

Castillo reminds me of one of the voice-overs from an old graded school film strip - I kept expecting to hear a 'beep' for the next picture.

I was actually thinking of an annoying morning DJ.

Fifth Column was definitely mentioned in Breakout, the Hollows, and Boomtown. There might have been more, but I can't recall every word of each episode from memory. I only know them well enough to record them, and I move on to the next one.

Clearly I was a fool not to have obtained your autograph way back when...

Hey, you're the one who got interviewed for the newspaper.

Any word on the next episode? My mind is ablaze with curiosity on what the "rain of tomatos" becomes after the respec.

I've been thinking about it this morning. Mostly it's a matter of figuring out which episodes come in which order.

Striga Isle, with some Vampyrs and Warwolves. I'd sort of like to bring 3l33t back for one episode, since he's the best person to handle a certain perspective on the 5th Column.

I sort of missed out on Faultline... might have to add one of those in.

Need a Dark Astoria before it gets too late.

And I've got to get them to Croatoa so they can see the real pumpkin flu.

The question is, which do I do next?

Posted

Faultline's 26 if you feel you have to throw it in. Alternatively, come back later saying something abut unfinished arcs.

Striga caps at 30, so that'll have to come soon.

Dark Astoria can come next, Croatoa can wait until the 30-35 range if it must.

Here's the list I'd go with.

26: Faultline (Sands and/or Nocturne, Arachnos in any case)
27: Striga (5th Column or 3l33t, you seem to have an idea anyway)
28: Astoria (ZOMBEHS!)
29: Column base/office? (everyone sends you weird places, and people like Dark Astoria for some reason)/Croatoa (Fir Bolg, Cabal or the Tuatha - you could spend a few episodes here, just remember Red Caps don't show up until 30)
30: Crey's Folly (Aura mission), Brickstown/Founder's

Of course, this is all just my ideas, and anyone who knows me can vouch for the fact that my ideas blow.

I'm thinking it'll go like this:

26: 3l33t discusses the 5th Column
27: Striga Isle vampyrs and warwolves
28: Croatoa and the pumpkin flu
29: Dark Astoria, first showdown with The Guy in the Hat
30: Siren's Call
31: Cap au Diable with the Luddites?
32: Sharkhead Isle
33: St. Martial
34: Nerva Archipelago
35: Warburg, nukes and Longbow

Still not positive what I'll feature in 32, 33, and 34.

Well Cap is a lvl 10-20 zone and Sharkhead is 20-30, but there is a lot of potential humor in both areas and stuff from both zones (Dr. Aeon in Cap and the Leviathan mythos in Sharkhead) continue to be dealt with in CoV after you outlevel those zones, so there could be reasons for Stan and Lou to check them out.

Can't wait to see what you have planned for the 5th.

Don't worry about outlevelling zones, they can just "exemplar!"

Cats are independent, they don't listen, they don't come in when you call, they like to stay out all night, and when they're home they like to be left alone and sleep. In other words, every quality that women hate in a man, they love in a cat. - Jay Leno
