I played the trial of City of Heroes in September 2005 and have come back for free weekends whenever they were offered, but my investment into another MMO - Final Fantasy XI - prevented me from joining in full-time.
Finally, years later, I finally buckled down and bought a content ID and have migrated over; for the short term or long term, I haven't decided. I am certain, however, that I can't get enough of the terrific superhero atmosphere the developers have created, and the opportunity to design a virtual avatar with the pinnacle of customization tools is nothing short of a joy.
I was very active in the FFXI forum community, and I foresee the same with the CoH/CoV community. I look forward to meeting you all in-game and hope to see you around soon.
