The Character Description Encyclopedia

When characters are introduced they tend to have a decent description but as post and pages are added to a thread, characters are not re-described so new comers don’t get a good feel for your character.

Here is a place to post a character description for reference.

To make the thread searchable as possible:

Post the character’s name and/or known alias as they appeared on the boards

List thread or threads they exist in/had existed in

Link if available

Then text description

Let’s keep comments to a minimum, though improvements to formatting are welcome.

Ella in Flight

Ella is a small (5’ 2) thin girl with long flowing all white hair that naturally curls and flawless snow white skin except the starburst pattern around her left eye. Ella appears to be 17-18 years old in physical maturity. (Mentally is a whole other story). Ella’s face and all white eyes are extremely expressive, as Ella is at the core an extremely emotional person.

Ella’s finger and toe nails and the starburst pattern around her left eye change color depending on what Ella is wearing or touching. Her hair does the same to a lesser degree only picking up the highlights of that color.

Ella releases a small amount of pheromone that isn’t strong enough to be mood altering but is always a smell that is associated with something pleasant to the one smelling it.

Ella weighs less than the human average of a girl her size tipping the scale at 70-80 pounds a factor in this maybe that Ella’s tears (milky white) and blood do not obey gravity and tend to free float. She also has a unique bone structure that is stronger and lighter than normal human bones, though this hasn’t been discovered yet.

Ella takes a lot of pride in her appearance and tries to dress nice whenever she can. Until recently, Ella had a problem with modesty that is she wasn’t and often ran (or flew) around in various states of undress.

Most of Ella’s powers manifest with a golden glow. Be it her super strength or her energy auras. Even her heal other manifest with glowing golden bubbles that float toward the intended target. The strong glow forms a halo like aura around her head when she manifests her powers.

Ella is currently having extreme personality shifts so at times she may be cold and confident, and at others weak and vulnerable.

Name: John Ballard.
A.K.A.: Experiment 2.0.

First well-known appearance: Game of Cosmic Chess.
Has Appeared in: Game of Cosmic Chess; Final Fight; 24 Hour Virus; When the World Broke; Crown of Thorns; Super Hero 101 (Cameo.); Meeting of the Minds; And more.

Experiment 2.0: In Flight.

John Ballard: Testing out flight physics.

Experiment in Battle Armour: Ain't it purdy?

Commonly, Experiment 2.0 will wear red armour while on patrol as a hero, with small dashes of different colours so as to not be totally red. He almost always wears a cape, making it known to all of his heroic deeds up to that point. At times, he even seems to have a glow of heroicness, but most say that is simply his armour reflecting the sun and blinding people. (His blue glow on the first costume is this 'heroic glow' thing. It is not mentioned in RPs because it is not visible.)

He wears goggles on his head to either aid in keeping insects out of his eyes, or cover up said eyes in case of explosions. He also wears a PDA on his wrist at times to help him in various situations, but he normally just carries it around in one of his many pockets.

The armour he wears is paneled, split up with each single panel to allow it to slide. This is needed for the hero's spines, his main power, to work. The panels slide from the known areas that spines are to extract from, and voila, shish-ka-2.0.

2.0's powers consist of spines, given through a scientific experiment conducted by a mysterious man named 'Dr. Shimmer' in Crey Industries, and an armour of darkness which usually awakens in extreme anger, danger, or when he is really moody. The rest of his abilities are natural, along with technological advancements like jets, stealth apparatus, and a small device which is unknown as of yet to be based off of 2.0's meetings with Crey and advanced with his diagnostic of Essex in the game of Cosmic Chess, with which he had no idea with what he used to advance it.

He has blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin from being VERY anti-social and mostly inside, and a pretty short temper. He makes jokes about fighting villains, and will help his allies to the end, but piss him off enough, and he will go beserk ((As Hal learned in GoCC when 2.0 tried to kill him and Burning because of Prodder's deception.))

Shane in Uniform

Shane Casual

Shane is seventeen and has your standard all-American looks with a dark tan. He is tall, standing at 6’ 2”. His eyes are storm grey, but have been known to glow white with lightning when upset and he is manifesting his powers. His hair is kept very short and is a bright blonde.

When not in uniform he dresses as if he stepped out of ‘Abercrombie & Fitch’ catalogue. He also tends to dress in layers as he has been known to set his clothes on fire with his abilities. He doesn’t have any heroic costume yet.

I do hesitiate to offer this, but if people are interested, the Whitmoore Apartment website that I maintain does have a character section by alphabetical order.

If there is enough interest, I can expand it to include more of the rps (if others do the write ups...I can barely keep up with the seven threads I'm doing already) and/or to get an seperate website that isn't attached to my company site.

If all of you are interested in that sort of massive service/resource, let me know through pms or right here or through this thread.

Thanks - Mithril Zeta

Name: Tatanya Ivanov
Alias: Cobalt Stinger
Age: 16

Base Archetype: Corruptor

Appearances: Creeper's Inn (Cameo), Supervillain 101, Greatest Story Ever Told, Anti-Hero 101, Bright Star Children's Home (non-canon), Paragon Mall (Cameo)

Standing about 5' 4", Cobalt is a slim girl with fair skin and bright green hair that is almost always tied up in two large pigtails. She never goes by her real name, even among friends, and has a quite juvenile attitude despite her advanced intelligence. She is a highly adept mechanical, electrical, and computer engineer who is fully capable of maintaining her own equipment as well as make repairs and improvements to technology possessed by others. These improvements are rarely authorized.

She is not atheletic yet has somewhat above the average level of strength and endurance her body should possess. Her most obvious cybernetic enhancements are an artificial right eye which appears to see across the entire Electromagnetic Spectrum and a cybernetic left forearm which is always concealed under a glove. This appendage is capable of striking with great force and deals energy as well as physical damage.

The girl is always found wearing a skintight suit which appears to be bullet and knifeproof. When removed during a physical examination it was found that it had connections to numerous electrical and data ports implanted in the surface of her skin, which was also marked in many places by surgical scars.

Medical scanners have found extensive cybernetics within her body, from fiber optics to electrical wiring to implants to unidentifiable black boxes. One large device located below her heart and attached to her spine appears to be some type of compact power source.

Most of her weapons, which take the form of energy-based firearms, appear to draw energy from this internal source through some unknown method. A pistol which was confiscated during one brief detention was found not to possess a battery although it was fired by its owner just before she was captured.

She also possesses the power of teleportation and can jump distances of approximately 100 meters at a time, as well as teleport other objects to and along with her. She commands a host of robots which appear to take direct orders from her via some type of implanted radio. Scanners used in combat show that she practically glows on the radio spectrum, although all intercepted signals were encrypted using some unknown method.

Among her robot servants include a mobile flying force field generator refered to as Mr. Bubble, small drones called Seekers which are essentially guided flying buzzsaws, and miniscule crawling robots with flexible wire legs/tentacles called Octospiders. Their mistress has a demostrated tendency to anthromorphise machines and assign them whimsical names.

The most unusual thing about Cobalt Stinger is her ever-present backpack and its seemingly infinite capacity. The bag looks like a normal black backpack but defies the laws of physics by holding far more that it could possible contain. Many times she has been seen pulling out a rifle which was longer than the bag itself. (Even more unusual is that these events go largely unnoticed by others around her.)

Cobalt has no traceable past beyond one year previous to the events of SV101. She does not exist in any government records , appearing to have simply popped into existance. The unusually advanced nature of her technology and occasional foreknowledge of world events has lead some to believe that she may be a time traveler from the future. For what reason she is in this time, if that is true, is totally unknown.

Name: Unknown
Alias: Lord Diov
Age: Unknown

First Appearance: Final Fight

Lord Diov is a Demon from an alternate reality where an all-powerful force known as the Void has consumed all of existance. Diov was apparently saved by a currently unknown force, and brought to this dimension.

Lord Diov's most common, and only known appearance is like this. He wears black cargo pants, with tribal runes sketched down the sides, he wears a belt with a single fanged skull on the front, it's eyes glow red. He wears a leather suit held together by straps, buckles, and stiches, and over this he wears a buisness suit with several pockets on it. His hands are armored by medival styled gloves, with runes etched into them that shift randomly. His face is completely hidden, no one has ever seen it. He wears a duster style hat, twin monocles which are tinted red, and a reaper style peice of cloth, which desceds to form two tattered scarfs hanging off his back, giving the appearace of tattered demon wings. There is a diamond shapped blood red gem on his right collar. A red aura surrounds him, as though he holds within him barely contained power.

The gem he has appears to give him control over reality its self, letting him bend it to his will. He doesn't use it much, as it attracts the attention of the Void from the reality he escaped from. When he does use it, the effects are often potent and powerful.

Diov is a tenth dimensional being, and most of the laws in the universe do not apply to him in most situations.

Diov used the Gem to create an industry know as Husk Corperation. Using essence stolen from other beings, Diov can create an unlimited number of "Husks" to serve him. They find it humorous to dress and act like street thugs.

Lord Diov is a threat of insane and almost unstoppable power. He has several doomsday class weapons, and various technomancies which have undone entire worlds.

Most of these weapons and technomancies have never been seen or used, only heard of.

As Diov is a dimensional being, he has been in various differant places in differant times, so it is impossible to determine his age.

He is firmly within the villain classification. He has commited mass genocide on several planets and timelines by obliterating them. The only known reason he ever commited these acts was for, "A bit of fun."

Real Name: Kathryn Sydowski
Alias: Kathode
Age: 17

Base Archetype: Brute

Appearances: Anti-Hero 101, Bright Star Children's Home

Kathode is a rough and tumble catgirl with a penchant for speed and the inherent ability to generate and project large currents of electricity. She is 5' 7" and approximately 130 lbs with a slender yet athletic build suited to quick and agile movement. Her muscular strength is not exceptional but it greatly enhanced by the electrical powers she possesses, making for attacks which hit hard but consume endurance quickly.

Kathode has very pale skin although the presence of eye color (silver) rules out albinism. On closer examination it is found that her skin is actually covered in very short, tightly packed hairs which form a layer of fur with the feel and consistency of velvet. She has a cat-like tail that is nearly as long as her torso and comes close to the floor yet appears to only assist in maintaining balance, showing no prehensile ability. She has a full head of black hair which is worn long and shaggy, out of which protrude two cat ears which can be manipulated for directional hearing. Her senses of taste and smell are exceptional. She can see very well in the dark but it comes with the expense of reduced color vision.

Kathode is extremely agile, has superhuman reflexes, and can run at speeds exceeding 60 miles per hour. That is the exent of her feline features and natural abilities, which has been present since birth.

Kathode was a consenting patient in a genetics therapy program run by Crey Industries under which she was meant to be changed to more resemble a normal human. However, the project director, who had supervised the experiments which had produced the heroes Synapse and Mynx, was intent on continuing his experiments with a different approach. He instead had Kathode infused with synthesized genes harvested from Mu descendants with strong magical powers over electricity.

In regards of the genes granting powers, the experiment was a success. The first thing that Kathode did upon realizing what had been done to her was to escape, hurting many Crey employees and causing much property damage in the process.

Kathode is capable of generating lightning in levels approaching 1.2 gigavolts and can utilize it in both offensive and defensive ways. By channeling it through her hands she can shock opponents with a touch or even zap them from across a room. She can produce bursts of energy that can strike several people at once and even send them flying. She can project a strong electromagnetic field around herself which can repel physical objects and incoming energy, even block psionic energy. Attacks which are not repeled are slowed down severly and do mush less damage when they hit. She can also drain energy from nearby foes in order to replenish her own. Due to a strong magnetic attraction to the Earth she is nearly impossible to knock down or lift off of the ground.

Kathode typically dresses in close fitting clothing so as to allow for maximum freedom of movement while providing little air resistance. She is very tomboyish and typically wears pants and shorts rather than skirts and dresses. She wears out shoes frequently due to wear and tear on their soles at high speeds. Her tendency to dress in black and white is mostly due to her color-blindness. She can see white and black and many of the primary colors such as red, blue, and yellow but has much difficulty distinguishing the shades in between.

Kathode is very impulsive and has a 'act first, think later' attitude. She can very easily get herself into trouble and relys much on her reflexes being quicker than those of her opponents to get out of danger.

Name: Jessica Argyros
AKA: Midnight Dragonfly
Age: 17
Thread: Antihero 101

Jessica is 5’ 8 and has a somewhat athletic build. Her olive skin reflects her Greek heritage. Her very straight black hair hangs to her mid-back. Often she wears a green bandana.

Jessica’s most distinctive feature is her eyes. The pupils of her eyes reflect light prismaticly like an insect’s though they reflect green the most. Under the right lighting you can see the iris, but for the most part her eyes appear entirely emerald. In public, she will hide her eyes behind sunglasses.

Jessica dresses is the standard teen fashion often wearing low cut jeans. On her right hip just above the edge of her jeans is a small abstract tattoo of a dragonfly.

Depending on the environment, Jessica is commonly accompanied by several dragonflies.

Jessica can manifest the dual wings of a dragonfly made of psychic energy when she flies. She can suppress the visible signature of her wings if she chooses.

I remember this thread!

Name: nhoJ drallaB
A.K.A.: Experiment 3.0
Age: Assumed to be about four in creation-age.
Threads appeared in: Game of Cosmic Chess (First appearance/Cameo), City of Zombies, "...He has a BADSIDE?" (Cameo).

Description: Although rarely seen, Experiment 3.0 is a fearsome force. His abilities are amazingly questionable, what with his combination of spines and darkness, and his looks terrify small children.

Although he was created through Experiment 2.0's mutational abilities and Dr. Shimmer's attempt at a prototype version of the Paragon Protector project requiring a living subject, he lacks 2.0's virtue, honor, and in some cases, his intellect. And, according to Experiment, "The thing he lacks most? My good looks."

His skin colour seems to change every time he is seen. Nobody has figured out why yet, but during the Game of Cosmic Chess tournament, his skin was sickly green, while in the City of Zombies scenario, he was dark, bruise-like purple. ((To be honest, I haven't even thought of a reason for this. I just can't get used to a colour. Perhaps he has a thin layer of fur that he dyes? I dunno...))

His eyes are always aflame, unless he is sleeping or unconscious. The flames seem to draw from his soul due to a spell casted by the necromancer, Blind Messenger. 2.0's comment about the eyes and the explanation was "What? Your on fire inside? Where is the yelling and or screaming in pain?"

Alliegances: Dr. Shimmer; Blind Messenger.

At the time the Lost showed up and wanted it. The ball melded and formed around Gene. It gave him the power over energy. Though after getting punched once or twice he eventually was able to defeat the renegade Lost and discovered his power. Now he fights agianst the "Family" and the Lost.

((Here's an UPDATED version of my list...))

Name: Lord Diov
AKA: Diov
Age: ???
Looks: Around eightish feet tall, black cargo pants with red tribal runes, Black Fanged Skull belt with red eyes, chaos leather shirt, wears a very large coat with several cargo pockets on it. Clawed and armored hands. Wears reaper style cloth around his entire lower face, which descneds into two wing-like torn and tattered scarves. Wears red-tinted monocles. Powers: Dimensional Manipulation
Weaknesses: Can be absent minded at the very worst possible times. Has a tendancy to throw huge fits if his clothes are ruined.
Description: Lord Diov. ((ME!)) He draws most if not all of his power from a little gem he has. Almost nobody actually knows hown the gem functions, or what it exactly is. However, for some strange reason, Diov is hesitant to use it too much. So he built an automated process of acheiving his goals. Husk Corporation. ((And that's where we'd be branching away from DIOV personally, plus it would take forever. So let's not go there.)) His prefered weapon of choice is a Scyth.

Name: Lord H'taed

Description: Lord Diov's right hand man. Next to NOTHING is really known about him. Even less then Diov. The reason for this being that he is not exactly the type to sit down and have tea with you whilst spilling his secrets. (Unlike Diov, who finds it terribly amusing to do so.)

AKA: Noit
Age: ???
Looks: A young man with long white hair. Wears a black toga with golden trimming. Somewhat transparent.
Powers: Cyber Reaper Melding, Super Strength, Very damn tough.

Description: Lord Diov's personal A.I. He is a Cyber Reaper, a being able to perfectly meld with the physical and technological worlds. This makes him nearly unstoppable in cyber-space, and in most systems and programs as well. Powers: Unknown
Weaknesses: Unknown
Description: ???

((NEW CHARACTER ENTRY!))

Name: Demon Void
AKA: Demon Void
Age: ???
Looks: Various
Powers: Has absolute control over darkness, and negative energy, although his several differant forms can grant him an array of various additional powers.
Weaknesses: Cannot attain full power without a body, and must possess simple objects to manifest himself.
Description: This fearsom being is god-like in proportion, and his very words seem to make the air shatter. He seems to be after someone, but nobody can say who exactly. Throughout his time on Earth, he has taken several differant manifestations in his never-ending attempt to create a body for himself. These manifestations range from small rocks to gigantic monstrosities made of entire buildinds. However, it doesn't appear as if he can actually possess people.

Looks: 6'6, Plain white cargo pants, plain grey shirt, wears a black trenchcoat. Slick, smoothed back black hair. Wears red-tinted glasses.
Powers: Telekinesis, Psionics
Weaknesses: He is completely insane, and he will attack anybody regardless of who or what they are.
Description: Charles Dark Aura is the official Psychopath of the Rogue Islands. He has been known to tear apart entire blocks with his telekinetic powers. He enjoys torturing people, watching others suffer, and is a canibal. He used to only be MODERATELY insane, until his wife, Emily Dark Aura, vanished without a trace. Then he snapped.

Name: Schayde le Umbra
Alias: Schayde (hero) or Schayde the Shadow (villain)
Age: 123

Associated threads:

Shadow Manor

First, I will give you a few definitions for clarification:

Shadow Walker: A Demon who walks between the Shadow and Human Realms, the shadow realm serving as a gateway between the Demon and Human worlds. Shadow Walkers derive their powers from the Shadow Realm, enabling them to use their abilities freely in both worlds. There have been rare instances where Shadow Walkers have been borne of other races, such as the Garou. However, these cases are extremely rare, the abilities taking years to fully develop.

Physical traits vary from one Demon Shadow Walker to the next, however there are several inherent traits they all share:

- Minimal amounts of sunlight are tolerable to the Shadow Walker, as time spent in the Shadow Realm makes their eyes and skin extremely vulnerable to harsh UV rays.
- Their saliva produces a healing agent when combined with the Shadow Walker’s blood, or the blood of another preternatural being. (i.e. Lycanthropes, other Demons, and some magical beings)
- Each Shadow Walker has a set of fangs that never retract.
(These first three traits often lead others to mistake a Shadow Walker as a vampire, but they are not kin to the Nosferatu, as they do not need to consume blood to survive)
- Shadow Walkers have either very pale, or very dark grayish-black complexions, depending on the position of the moon upon their conception. Lighter skin tones mean conception occurred as the moon was newly risen. Darker complexions mean conception occurred closer to the setting of the moon.

Ulfric: The term meaning “Werewolf King” often used in place of the clan leader’s name. (This term is borrowed from the “Anita Blake Vampire Hunter” series, written by Laurell K. Hamilton)

Lupa: The term used for the mate of the Ulfric. (This term is borrowed from the “Anita Blake Vampire Hunter” series, written by Laurell K. Hamilton)

Character Description:

Name: Schayde le Umbra (Romanian Surname loosely translates to “The Shadow”)
DOB: May, 1884
POB: The Moldavian region of Romania, near the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains.
FAMILY: Father: Unknown at this time but he is a Demon. Mother: Natasha Myserae le Umbra, she refuses to use the le Umbra surname. She was human, but now immortal due to circumstances explained below. 4 brothers: Mo’ordin (and three others who have not been introduced. The father, mother and 3 brothers may be created by anyone who wishes to rp them. Please contact me on the boards or in game to let me know if you pick up the persona of one of these characters. Mo’ordin is a villain character played by another person. I will update the community as needed.)
Physical Attributes: 5'9, 125lbs, Red hair, almost burgundy in color, gently sloping horns that curve below her ears, crimson eyes, demon fangs, pale porcelein complexion, fond of leather, chains, and stiletto boots.
ABILITIES: Schayde is an extremely talented martial artist, having trained since childhood. She uses her body as a weapon, in addition to the dark powers she derives from the Netherworld.

HISTORY:

Born to a human mother and a Demon father, Schayde is a Shadow Walker, a being capable of existing in both worlds. Her mother, Natasha Myserae le Umbra, is a woman of great beauty, but her heart is black, for her ambitions and lust for power supercede all things in life. She sold her soul in exchange for the power to seduce Schayde’s father. At this time, the identity of her Demon Sire is unknown, for her mother refuses to tell her anything about him.

Schayde’s mother purposefully conceived the night she seduced her lover, her intent: use the child as a bargaining tool to place herself in a more prestigious position. Her plan backfired when she birthed a daughter instead of the son her lover desired. Schayde’s sire never even held her the night she was born. Instead, he left Natasha, and to Schayde’s knowledge, he has had no contact with her since.

Furious that her plans had gone awry, Natasha sent the infant Schayde across the Black Sea, to the Rogue Islands to live with family. Schayde grew into womanhood under the care of these distant relatives. Over the years, her mother gave birth to four more children, all sons, each to a different man. The lifestyle of the wealthy and powerful is like a drug to Natasha. Of her four siblings, Schayde has met only Mo’ordin, the 1st born son. He too was sent to the Rogue Islands when Natasha had no further use of him.

Schayde remained in the Rogue Islands with Mo’ordin until 1917. During this time, she was wrongfully accused of murdering an influential political figure. She spent several months in the Rogue Island prison where they branded her as a mercenary with a small tattoo behind her left ear. Eventually she was cleared of any wrongdoing and released. However, to this day, she still bears the mark of her trade. Only those close to her know the mark she bears depicts the letter “M” followed by the number 1319, meaning she had been the prison’s 1,319th mercenary to be captured.

Mo’ordin was 10 years old when Schayde traveled back to Romania to confront her mother once more, demanding to know the identity of her father. When her mother refused, Schayde left Romania in a fit of rage, spending several years abroad in attempt to uncover any information on her own. In 1933, she returned to the Rogue Islands where she discovered that Mo’ordin had run away. She would not see him again until 2007; nearly 90 years from the last time she had seen him.

From 1933 to 1987, Schayde remained with her family in the Rogue Islands. An ancient feud between the le Umbra family and the Feralis Werewolf Clan had risen once more, resulting in skirmishes and assassination attempts on a regular basis. Confrontations between the two bloodlines decreased by mid 1988, leading most to believe the uprising had been temporary. During this time, Natasha traveled to the Rogue Islands to seek an audience with her estranged daughter.

Schayde never learned the reason for her mother’s unexpected visit, for on the night of her arrival, the Feralis Clan launched a surprise assault on the le Umbra estate, slaughtering most of the people within its walls. The remaining women and children were taken as captive slaves by the Feralis Clan. Schayde and her mother were taken to the Feralis stronghold to be enslaved or executed. Natasha, accustomed to using her beauty and her children as bargaining chips, was able to convince the clan’s leader, Dimitri, to release her. In exchange, he would get to keep Schayde and gain a political alliance with the man whose child she carried.

Dimitri agreed to Natasha’s terms, as he had been drawn to Schayde’s youthful beauty and innocence. By this time, Schayde was 104 years old, making her roughly 14 in human years. Her ability to walk in both the Demon and Human realms had drastically altered her ability to age. Physically, she stopped aging around 1907, leaving her with the alluring figure of a 23-year-old woman but the wisdom of one who had lived two lifetimes.

Dimitri Feralis took Schayde as his bride against her will. She endured two years of torment and humiliation at the hands of the werewolf leader and his clan. In 1990, Schayde conceived a daughter. The child was given the name Daciana, a Romanian name for “wolf”, as she was the clan’s first half-breed progeny.

At a very young age, Daciana began to show signs of being a Shadow Walker, as well as the ability to shape-shift with each full moon. Thirteen years later, an uprising occurred within the ranks of the clan. A young, ambitious male, Rafe BloodMoon, rose from the ranks to challenge Dimitri for his place as leader. Clan law required Dimitri to meet any challenge to his rule in a fight to the Death. The older werewolf never stood a chance against Rafe, and he fell in battle quickly.

Rafe took his place as leader, after which the clan became known as the BloodMoon Clan. He proved to be a tyrannical leader, but the clan thrived under his rule. He had very little honor, but had granted Schayde one boon. He would not force her to accept him as her mate. He would court her, and she would come to him on her own free will.

Schayde, no longer property of the clan’s former leader, considered leaving, but her daughter was developing abilities that Schayde could not begin to understand. She needed a strong Lycan influence in order to survive the changes she would endure. So Schayde chose to remain with the clan, managing to resist Rafe’s amorous advances for several years.

Eventually, Rafe’s charm won her over and she took her place at his side, Lupa to the Ulfric, mate of the werewolf king. Rafe’s demeanor changed drastically not long after the two became lovers. He became abusive both mentally and physically, and did not attempt to hide the fact that he had a wandering eye. Schayde had been nothing more than a conquest. He had desired her, got what he wanted, and grew bored quickly. It wasn’t long before Schayde began to hear whispered rumors of Rafe’s liaisons with other females in the Clan; particularly that Schayde’s own daughter, now 16, had caught his roving eye.

Schayde tolerated Rafe and his abuse for a year before she grew tired of the strain of dealing with a possessive, unfaithful mate. She had decided to leave Rafe and the clan, but first she had to consult with her daughter. Schayde approached Daciana with her intentions, but her daughter wanted nothing to do with her plans. Daciana had grown into a vain, ambitious young woman accustomed to getting what she wanted, much like her grandmother. She disowned Schayde as her mother, stating that the Clan was her true family. If her mother didn’t wish to be at Rafe’s side, she would be happy to take her place.

Schayde sought an audience with Rafe the night she planned to leave. She told him her reasons for her decision, none of which went over well with him. They fought viciously, Schayde barely escaping with her life. Rafe refused to accept her leaving, as he viewed her as property, swearing to bring her back to the Clan.

Schayde went into hiding for several months before picking up the shattered pieces of her life. Now a woman free of tyrannical clan life, she owns Shadow Manor, an estate on the outskirts of Kings Row. Believing herself safe from Rafe’s influence, she resumed her career as a Mercenary, taking jobs as she saw fit, not caring which faction employed her. She also decided she needed a social life, so she took a part time job tending bar in Pocket D, Paragon’s hottest nightclub. Little did she know, doing so would place her in danger once more……..

((recent in-game events have altered her DNA drastically, but how and why will not be revealed until later in the Shadow Manor thread))

Indeed, I didn't even know this thread existed.

Anyway, Jake's description soon to come.

Edit:

Name: Jake Walsh
Alias: Corrupted Youth (This was a name given to him by the oh-so-unimaginative media. He doesn't like it, particularly, and will ask those that call him as such to not.)
Age: Fifteen
Threads: The Necronomicon, A Force Into the Isles, The Future is Mayhem

Appearance: Normally wears a black trenchcoat with a white T-shirt underneath. Wears deep blue baggy pants and black boots. His hair is white and semi-long, his bangs reaching just past the eyebrow and halfway covering his ears. He also is almost never found without his blast goggles, which gives him information on his vitals, as well as providing him with several other features. They are always either on his forehead of covering his eyes, depending on whether or not he has a task.

Jake was once, and last time I checked, still is, the son of a recently famous professor, known to give new and veteran heroes alike devices to aid them in their eternal fight. In fact, the day before his escape, he went with his father on a trip to Freedom Corps HQ, where his father was hired to develope advanced technology for Longbow's use. But I digress, attention like this certainly never always good, and this case is by no means an exception. Professor Walsh had garnered the attention of many villain groups, most notably Crey and Arachnos. Both factions wished to use him to pursue their own devilish experimentations, however, Arachnos decided to act first, unleashing a psionic assault on the residence of the Professor, thereby having him seemingly come to the Isles of his own free will. The plan, unfortunately, failed. The Professor never made it to the Isles in the 48 hour time span that was expected of him, and most certainly didn't come after that. Frustrated, the Arachnos higher-ups planned to 'reassign' the Arbiter in charge of the program and put someone else more capable as the head.

The third day after the failed assault, only hours before the Arbiter was officially taken off the program, Kalinda reported a new arrival in Mercy, having come via ferry to the Hell-hole of an island, to a certain Fortunata who was to be put in charge of the program. When asked what relevance this had, Kalinda simply replied, "He says his last name is Walsh." The Fortunata's ears visibly perked at this, and demanded that he be escorted to Grandville immediately, to be presented to Recluse himself. One hour later, arriving at Recluse's tower via Arachnos Flier and being escorted by many, many, Wolf-Spider Huntsman, he was presented to Senoir Spider himself. Bowing before the might of the man who was programmed to be a God in his mind, he presented him with several gadgets, two of which truly stood out. A portable forcefield generator (Which Jake had modified to fit in his fingerless gloves) and several different models of combat robots, originally being developed by his father for use by Longbow in mid-combat. Recluse seemed pleased enough by these findings, and ordered Black Scorpion and his technicians to begin mass-producing them for Arachnos soldiers of all ranks. Satisfied with Jake's work, Recluse ordered his back to Mercy, so that he may prove further worth among the organization of Arachnos.

For the past two months, Jake has been serving Arachons without fail, killing who he was ordered to kill and siding with the spiders on all occassions(sp?). Jake is still himself however, and will often attempt to skip out on his duties if the oppurtunity arises. He often approaches with a very laid back and nonchalant attitude, partially due to a bit of cockiness, however, when the situation arises when he realizes that he truly is out-matched, he changes clothes, so to speak, and becomes serious, taking in the scene with much detail and speculating on an ideal battle strategy.

As of late, Jake's mind has been slowly reversing the effects of the psionic alteration, leaving his loyalties to himself above all others. This is only just beginning, as he would still kill someone who so much as lifts a finger in his direction without losing a wink of sleep, but he is certainly moving in the right direction. (This is most noted in 'A Force Into the Isles' thread, where Jake is attempting to go back to Paragon and hopefully redeem himself among the general population.)

DESCRIPTION OF POWERS AND ABILITIES:

FORCE FIELD: Jake's force field gadetry resides within his fingerless gloves, making it fairly simply to activate on the fly. It essentially has three basic functions. Repulsion, in which it is designed to throw someone back wildly. Shielding, in which it is designed to deflect (and/or redirect) incoming projectiles. And Detention, in which the forcefield encases someone or something inside, allowing nothing to hit it and vice-versa. Jake's shielding works in certain degrees of power, from a barely noticeable shield that will knocking something off of its mark by a miniscule amount or all the way up to a Personal Forcefield, being similar to the Detention Field, however, allowing its occupant to move about. Each of these refracts the path of the incoming object in an increasingly extreme fashion until it is finally outright deflected by the shield. They are currently being improved and adapted by Arachnos, who, upon its completion, will issue it to all foot soldiers.

ROBOT HENCHMEN: These little buggers come in three basic designs, the first of which being designed to function as a unit in groups of three, coordinating attacks on a single target and basically covering for other, larger, more effective units. They are highly ineffective when compared to the other two models, and mainly serve as fodder whilst more advanced units do the majority of the damage.

The second type of model is appropriately called the Protector Bot, designed with roughly the same amount of fire power as the Battle Drones, but with the added bonus of the ability to give medium shielding to fellow bots and allies, giving them a very defensive role.

The final model is also appropriately called the Assault Bot, known as such for its sheer size, defense, and fire power. Its size alone is normally enough to intimidate normal foes, and at least give a moment of hesitation to other supers. It's not an empty threat either, as the Assault Bot has a different type of laser from it's other two counterparts. The laser it totes deals major burn damage, most times enough to melt armor. This is complimented by Jake's modification of a flamethrower, which it will occassionally use on opponents, if the mood strikes.

Despite Arachnos's attempts to keep the design secret, it appears to have leaked all across the Isles, as many would-be villains and true villains alike have been seen toting the metallic monstrosities across the Isles, striking fear into the hearts of passers-by.

Jake is currently working on several modifications to his bots, although all are in the prototype phase and not ready for field testing.

BLAST GOGGLES: Jake blast goggles are just and all-around good device to have. Not only giving Jake a good idea of his personal vitals, it gives him a detailed description of his robots' conditions, and even warns him when and if his shields will go down. The goggles also have the ability to scan one's face and access their file from an Arachnos data-base, immediately giving Jake all the knowledge that Arachnos has on the particular hero, or villain even. Note that this requires both that the person's face being exposed and Arachnos having information on it. If either of these requirements is failed, the scan will as well, resulting in a rather annoying ' FILE NOT FOUND'* to show up in Jake's view. Jake is also currently working on modifications to his goggles, again, which are in the prototype stage and ,also again, not ready for field testing.

*INSPIRATIONS FULL ftw.

Edit again: Huh... just realized that he's an evil Shikamaru... Ah well. *shrug*

I didn't even know this was here. Cool, thanks for the bump and hope it gets stickied. ^^

Name: Davian Kolowski
Alias: Davian Shade
Age: 17

Thread(s): Only thread she's in right now is the Necromonicon.

Davian is approximately 5'3", fair skin and dark red hair. When donning her costume to go crimefighting, she is always seen in black tights, along with a billowing black cape and her pair of black gloves etched with eldritch runes to help channel her power. Along with her costume is simple black utility belt, carrying simple medical supplies and her cellphone.

She is a very passive aggressive person, and will only attack if provoked. Possessing the ability to channel fire in various ways, she can be a force to reckon with when she is truly displeased. Yet, despite her darker emotions, Davian is a charismatic and energetic girl.

Something you'll probably never know about Davian:
She's a clone.

As for my other characters... I'll get them down later.

Hero name: Soul Striker
Real Name: Don Fuegan
Primary Power Set: Martial Arts
Secondary Power Set: Invulnerability

I'm just gonna give a basic description for his bio, as not to bore ya with all the in between details, if the time arises, I might mention them in individual threads, but not right now.

Bio: Soul Striker is about 17 and a half years old, and about 5'8. He is covered in Crey Armor, from chest all the way down to his feet. He has a crimson red badge painted on his chest piece, and same color "radiation" marks going down his leg pieces down to his boots. The rest of his armor is a dark, shiny, blue, and wears a red visor, along with a hi-tech helmet, along with a "reaper" covering the rest of his face.

His mother died giving birth to him, and his father was a useless superadine addict, and was orphaned. He ended up reading a lot, and enjoyed socializing with the other orphans. His lack of parents ended up making him rather defiant, and had little respect for his elders. When he started elementary school it was discovered that, despite his obnoxious nature, he was extremely intelligent, and the praise from his teachers gave him an inflated ego, and he began to refer to himself as a prodigy.

Finally in high school, he managed to push away nearly all contact he had with other people, unless they wanted to pay him to do their homework, that he was offered a job with Crey Industries, soon after he dropped out of high school to work on making armors supposedly being designed to help "protect" people. However, when he discovered the real purpose of the power suits being made by Crey, he trashed his office in Crey and ran away with a suit, now being pursued by Crey, he fights back, determined to bring them down for betraying his trust.

Name: Jonas Black
Alias: No known aliases
Age: 20
Archetype: Scrapper/Brute

Threads: Rescue Operations: A force into the Ilses

Jonas is 6'3" and has a slim athletic build. He has a Black tattoo on his right arm which winds from the knuckles to his mid fore arm. Above the tattoo is a spiral scar that winds three times around his arm. The arm is actually his brothers and is paracitic. Jonas is never seen in anything but dress clothes or business suites. He has black hair and deep blue eyes. He has a tendency towards being a loner and is often in a constant state of inner turmoil.

Powers: All of his power is located in his right arm. Two villains found the fact out and each tried to remove the arm. Jonas had already found out through trial and error that cutting off the arm only caused pain as the arm grew back. When he is still in his Jonas form he is generally a DM/SR scrapper, but when the mark on his arm grows enough he becomes something closer to a DM/DA brute.

((Alright, let's see what I can do here. All these bios are as of my latest story Worlds of Confusion, which you can read on these forums or at www.cohwritersguild.com.))

Name: James Warrens
Alias: Burning Brawler ((Ignore the character list. This is an ooooooooold pic. Pre-I7.))

Burning Brawler has a long and complicated past, but the condensed version is handy.

When he was a child, the Reichsman attacked. The attack happened to be going through his neighborhood, devastating the area and killing everyone he knew. In the wreckage of his favorite place in town, the magic shop, he finds an ancient book with a blazing green fireball on the cover.

He opens it, and the book infuses him with the power of flame. At first, James uses these powers for the other side. He first steals to survive, but then continues on in his quest to get revenge on the one he ultimately deemed responsible for the loss of his family.

Statesman.

Over time, he gains control of a promising group of rising villains called The Legion of the Black Flame. Years of planning led to an assault on City Hall. Burning and Statesman began a duel that was interrupted by the sudden attack of the Rikti.

The assault was forgotten in history, lost to the carnage of the Rikti War. During the war's course, Burning found himself in a difficult situation. He had a chance to take down the distracted Statesman, but instead assaulted one of their flying ships without back-up, abandoning his Legion to deal with the Freedom Phalanx and Rikti on their own.

He made it into the primary engine room and exploded in a burst of brilliant flame. The machine exploded as well, and the resulting burns charred his skin to blacker than the darkest night. His eyes were the only thing that did not survive. It was the brave actions of a budding heroine who saved his life, though she was quickly ended by the falling wreckage for her efforts.

Burning awoke, blind, in the hospital. Statesman was there by his bed for a brief moment to let him know what had happened, and to give him the chance to be a hero. Brawler accepted, and from that day on, fought for the right side.

With the aid of some other heroes, he learned a spell to give himself eyes of magic energy, much more powerful than normal eyes, and able to see in multiple forms of vision.

However, his record was not completely cleared. Other remembered he had once headed a villain organization. He had been an Arch-Villain. Crey took advantage of this distrust to create what became known as Project Heat Seeker.

This robot relentlessly sought to bring down Burning, and in the process created so much destruction and loss of innocents that is brought the hero to madenning rage. His bright red flames became a dark green and black. The burst he shot seemed to incinerate Seeker, and he wasn't seen again for many years, presumed dead. When asked about Seeker's destructive rampage, Crey claimed a corporate enemy had hacked the robots systems, damaging his identification of friendly and enemy targets.

When Seeker appeared again, it turned out the fiery assassin was not a robot, but a mutant in an augmenting suit. The mutant was none other than Heat Stroke, Burning's former lieutenant in the broken Legion that Stroke was now trying to return to its former glory.

With the aid of the supergroup Burning was a member of, The Buttkickers of the Fantastic, the Legion of the Black Flame was put down once more.

As of late, Burning's greatest nemesis is the villain Blightlord, whose relentless attacks on the hero and his family become more deadly each time.
