You sure can! In fact if you win you could choose to have the tablet donated to an artist you think needs or deserves it.

Very true. I just completed my third ever piece in Photoshop of Gill's hero. A little competition does give an added incentive, although by my own admission I'm very much still a beginner.

yeah as the contest allows bot professionals and amateurs im not overly concerned with winning so much as competeing and helping polish pieces with my fellow art forumers
Think of it as a good natured shared project and less of a contest where your competeing against someone and you'll be in the perfect frame of mind
