"Yes sir!" Essex chirped, her thrusters blasting into activity and propelling her after Expiriment.
"'Ey sis, don' you need at least six more heroes to follow? Should I go get Genki? 'Essiehealplz!'" Ginstar teased, waiting on Toy.
"Shut up!" she cried back at him.

Hal flew through the tunnel in turn, carried by his Phantasm.
((Yeah, I'm really lost.))
((I think everyone is heading through a tunnel under their force field, heading for the island. As in, we're starting. Ignore Devious's posts and Prodiguy's responses to them, that's a "meanwhile, back at the farm/sinister island lair/whatever" kind of thing.))
((Yeah, I'm trying to time Allen's arrival on the island with everyone else. For now, it's just 'filler' so he doesn't have to poof out of thin air later on. 
))

"Okay, slim," Toy said as he grabbed Ginstar's shoulder and shoved him a bit so that Ginstar would turn so his back faced Toy. "You ever been in a centrifuge before? The ride is going to be a lot like that."
Grabbing Ginstar under the armpits, Toy activated his anti-gravity jets and began manipulating his own gravity field. First, he extended the field to Ginstar and then started fiddling around with gravity a bit until the two were slowly floating up into the air. The only problem was was that Ginstar felt like he was falling down while they went up.
"Ready to get going?" Toy asked. He didn't really know how one of Dr. West's reploids would respond to his method of travel so it seemed best to take things slow for a moment.
Statesman said let there be heroes, and there were heroes.
Lord Recluse said let there be villains, and there were villains.
NCsoft said let there be nothing, and there was nothing.
The drones arrived at the island, and scanned the raft quickly. Noticing no life forms, they decided to head back to their holding power-rechargers.
Meanwhile, quite a few turrets were watching from behind two-way mirrors the arrivals, but not shooting. The mastermind's voice propelled through the lair like a broadcast.
"Ah... You have managed to infiltrate my shield defense, as well as escape my battle AND scout drone. Well done... However, you may not find it so easy to figure out the way to get around the island, as well as the base itself. You see, if you check any technological device you may be using to find your way, to may notice a nice little present I left there."
As soon as Experiment were to arrive, he would see the same thing any other tech-user would see on their scanners or maps. The screen or sensors would become simply jumbled up words, letters, and numbers. It was a heavily encrypted code, some may see, to confuse anyone who would attempt to enter the base on foot, or by air.
The mastermind chuckled quietly through the broadcast. "My video screens do not show any movement, but I assume that 'they' are already on their way. Prepare for some company on your path to destruction, why don't you."

"Heh! Speed up, Ess! No time to just rest up for the little pink one!" called back 2.0 mockingly. In essence, he was only really joking with the girl, but in his mind, he couldn't be more serious. "If we get split up... If my friends get hurt... If the villains get hurt... It will all be my fault... But I can't exactly tell them to go home again. Not only would it waste their time, I would be in a helluva lot of trouble... Actually, I would probably be commended for losing the villains, but still..."
Reikoff tuned his suit to Toy's gravity boosters and jumped into the sky, awaiting flight.
Prikker and Snikker crouched low for a superjump.
Static raced through the tunnel with his goldbricker jetpack. Workout Man meanwhile super sped after him.
((Did you respond to my helicopter firing on the drones?))
Kaos looked at the screen. "Get a different camera angle, try and see what happened to the drones..."
Kaos' men might have heard the broadcast, but to Allen and his troopers, the whole thing just blew over the ocean's surface.
In the almost total blackness of the abyssal plain, the black powersuits melded into the environment completely as three figures trudged on.
"Coming into range, Sir. There's a platisc flow over there we can use to climb up." one of the troopers reported to Allen. Their sonic visors gave them all the visual data they could ever need, even in the stark darkess of the sea.
The flow ascended along the seamount like a ramp, and thouh, steep was readily traversable.
The jagged rock coast at the upper end was another story entirely. Then again, the erosion here had crated the flow in the first place so that wasn't really a surprise.
"Stealth on, hooks up." Allen commanded, and his form vanished into thin air. The dark matter cloak didn't protect from every sort of detection, but it was perfectly effective against the entire electromagnetic spectrum.
The three power-suited figures took the heavy rifles from their backs and switched them over with a click, then fired grappling hooks up the rock face.
"I still say we should just waste this place and get it over with." one of the trooper murmured as they started their climb. No sound leaked out of the helmets, "One villain can't be that important."
"We're not the judge of that." Allen reminded him, "All we're here for is to destroy anything relatiing to the dropship's discovery. XANV gav us a good amoun to work with, but we still need to find the mainframe or whatever he keeps it in."
"And if he keps it in his head?" the second trooper wanted to know.
"Simple," Allen replied sternly, "then we cut off his head..."

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" Essex cried as she pushed her thrusters to the max, chasing after Expiriment. "I can only go so fast!"
"YEEEEEE-HAWWWW!!" Ginstar called gleefully as Toy shot forward. "Pane tostada, this is better than the fair!"

Shinji began to ran after the group and superjumped into the air behind Essex and 2.0. Ok screw this I'll just fly. Shinji thought to himself as he flew past Essex and up to 2.0, he said to him. "Think the ones who can fly and superjump should stay as low as possible? Even though were still kinda close it'll be safer that way, especially since Ginstar doesn't fly...*turns to Essex* Common can't you fly any faster than that?"
"Fast is as fast does," Toy said as he and Ginstar fell forward at a rate of five gravities. "And what is up with you people and toast? I mean, sure Essex can make it, but saying toast in Spanish? When does it end?"

Ginstar turned a little, shrugging at Toy. "I'anno. We all just used to say it to tease Ess, but it kinda became a habit. And as for me, I speak Spanish - Dr. West likes to program us each to learn another language or two. I speak Spanish, Essex speaks Japanese and Chinese, Genki speaks Italian, Burner speaks Russian, Seawing speaks French...Stuff like that."

"Men, the energy source is down there. Pilot maintain air cover. Everyone else follow the plan."
Kaos walked to the back of the ship and watched as the bay door opened. His men had their wingpacks on. "Team 1 go go go!"
The henchmen jumped out of the fully functional plane/chopper, jetpacks on. They maneauvered in midair, with their rifles out in case of the drones.
Kaos himself smiled. "Team two prep for teleport. Team three, turn on the personal mech suits and deploy in... 10 minutes!" Kaos then jumped out with his bodyguards.
Experiment turned to Shinji with a nod. "Yeah, most likely. Harder to spot things coming in if they are as low as possible."
Then, he slowed down a little to Essex, and smirked. "You know, I could just grab your arm and throw you to speed you up... Or let Hal grab you instead. Either way, we WILL make you speed up!"
"I hate climbing." the tail trooper murred, "Are we there yet?"
"Oh for the love of..." Allen sighed, already at the top with the other trooper, "It's only two more...!"
"Yeah, yeah. Just trying to lighten the mood."
The three collected the grappling lines again, then took a look about. A lush green forest had grown to within a few meters of the cliff's edge, and all manner of noises were coming from inside.
"Where are we anyway?"
"Working on it." Allen replied, flipping open a panel in his powersuit's left arm, "Dang, looks like the satellite feed's being jammed."
"Want me to try the hypercom?"
"I'd rather not. Never know what's crusing around out here in the backwater."
"But we're already using 'em."
"Short-range, buddy." the other trooper replied, "To reach orbit we'd need to turn it up to medium."
"Right...damn, forgot about that."
"Speaking of." Allen mumbled, "Fold up the suits again."
"Sir." both troopers nodded and did as told. Nothing visible happened - the dark matter cloaks had hidden them all this time, and were continuing to do so.
"Alright, boys." Allen smiled, whispering as they approached the first trees, "Let's have ourselves a look around."
A rustling in the tree crowns was all tht could be heard as they rapidly climbed into the canopy, moving from branch to branch to where they suspected the drones had come from...

"I wish I'd have brought the tablecloth." Essex grumbled as she whizzed along through the air, blush generators coloring her face a hot, embarassed red. "I have small thrusters. I can't quite--"
"YEEHAW!!" Ginstar repeated as he and Toy fell into her from behind. "Time to hurry the hell up, sis!"
"Aaaagh!" Essex cried out, her eyes wide. "Too fast! Too fast!!!" she wailed, covering her eyes with her hands.
"Oh, get over it." Ginstar teased as they shot forward.

Art - Theme 005 - Seeking Solace
"HOOWAH!" The Trolls exclaimed as they shot through the tunnel in the superjump. Reikoff skimmed along lazily with Toy.
A loud rustiling accompanied the rustles of the intruders. However, there were no mechanical noises to go along with the movement. Instead, it sounded like whatever 'it' was was breathing, like some sort of creature.
However, from above, a drone did fly down, transmitting to the area in a broadcasting way. It had no idea the intruders were below. It spoke in the same dark voice as before. "Ah, so I see you have gotten ever closer to your 'goal'... Whatever THAT is. Do not worry, this drone is not equipped with weaponry or many other devices, to be honest. No, your enemy is waiting in the same greenery you are deciding to trudge through. Please tell Arzkan that I gave him what I promised..."
The rustling grew louder, and movement could be seen, as about four trees swayed aside quite a ways away. How the rustling was so loud is anybody's guess...
"...Fresh meat."
Suddenly the drone was hit by heavy laser rifle fire. "Squad one, fire fire fire! Take out the drone and move out!"
The drone felt its arm get ripped off by the laser, but then self-destructed entirely, every piece of it becoming vaporized in its own explosion.
The mastermind removed his finger from the trigger. "No need for them to find anything to help them out... Let us let the beast have his meal before they get away."
*BASH*
*CRASH*
*CRUNCH*
*SPLUNTCH*
The 'rustling' had turned into what seemed to be pounding quadreped footsteps, as trees and plants started flying up the side of the island toward the group travelling up. Obviously, they missed because of the angle, but then boulders decided to start flying, missing the group, but heading right for the flying vehicle.
The raft hopped over the surf and literally smacked into the beach at speed, skidding along and over the sand quite a distance before the engines realized they weren't going anywhere anymore and decided to deactivate.
It had managed to avoid the lethal barrier by projecting a defensive barrier of its own nature, but this was gone now and if any defenses were currently around, they would surely vaporize the boat.
Due to the 'smoke' still billowing from it, nothing short of an X-ray scope would be able to tell there was no one inside...
