I use the 'feline' face on my cat, Lynx, combined with the confusious moustache (quasi whisker look and has downward hair action like real lynx). I also use the demon ears as male models dont get cat ears :/
pretty happy over all with his look if a tad plain...had ta use tiger stripes though versus spots like real lynx...but what can ya do. *shrug*~

I see it on guys sometimes. As soon as it became available I put it on my (now deleted) cat-guy because it looks really nice on the guys.
I have a female model character that has the feline face now and I admit it makes the character look unhappy or slightly angry, but some of these characters really don't look like they were meant to be 'cute'.
(btw, so far my favorite is Power Harness. However, I have a wierd love of anthro and steampunk mixes and that hits the button.)
...agreed, the feline face on the gals does tend to make them look a bit "upset' but I do like the look...sides...when kickin booty not like your laughing and having a g.ay ole time. ~

I personally don't use the Feline face because it doesn't suit the type of catgirl I play... I don't play the 'feral' sort at all... my catgirls are more like 3/4 human 1/4 cat. Of course there's wayyy more to it than that; but the feline face just wouldn't look right for me. That's just me though.

I would definitely participate in this if there is still an interest. Two months from now I will have been with the Legion of Catgirls family of supergroups for five years, and currently have 26 catgirls on various servers, but I would probably only show a few.

you're just noticing this now? I noticed the catgirl thing early on. The Legion of Catgirls SG was hard to miss. lol But then again I had a SG mate called Pyro Kitty. lol
No catgirl characters here, I never really got into that, not any animal chars really. Teamed plenty with them though. lol Closest thing I have to a catgirl is Herracane, who is the youngest of the Hericane's and has an anime fix so naturally she has a anime school girl look, complete with kitty and shoulder and fake cat ears on her head. (Had to find a way to give her a look to replace a Penthouse look, didn't seem something that Herra would wear.)
One of my chars on Victory, Arizona summer will eventually have a catgirl type look. A female version of the UA Wildcats mascot, Wilbur. Dunno if that fits though. lol

Original post was 8/07/06. So yep...back then "kitties" were new to me. 
My only real catgirl is not my fault, she was the end result of thinking about 'what would happen if <character of a friend> was actually sane and had kids?' when participating in an alternate dimension based plot. Said character was already an ears and tail sort of catgirl, so Lina sorta inherited it.
Consequently she's more of a powersuited hero with ears and a tail than catgirl (oh, and obligatory LJ art plug 
)
I do have a perfectly normal human being who dresses up in a white and black full masked, eared and tailed costume and runs around with a pair of modified clawlike katar as Bya-ko, guardian of Paragon who people think is an actual catgirl though...

I could never bring myself to making a catgirl for one of my characters. Closest I ever got was the Crazy Old Cat Lady.
