Alternatively, if I worked out what could be used while hovering and sent it to you, would you add it to the site?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well I certainly could, however the only ones I'm aware of that really work with hover are "invent" and "yoga". Invent having a different animation, which last I checked was interrupted by flight, and yoga being constant.

i have a question.. when was dice7 added in?

IMO its the best emote ever

(If this was asked before in this thread I'm sorry for being to lazy to look for it <_&lt

I have no idea.

There seems to be more than one walllean result in practice - two positions, similar to the old dance.

A no attack "Group-Friendly" Defender is like a "Team Friendly" basketball player who won't dribble, run, or shoot, under any circumstances. "I'm a PASSER."

I saw someone under the Atlas statue doing all sorts of fall down emotes. Does anyone have an idea of how the character was made to do those?

I haven’t played in a while so I thought they were just new emotes that were added until I looked up Mantid’s guide and none of them were there.

Saw the same thing today. They were also beating bongos, vomitting, levitating in the air and gyrating, as if in space (but faster), slipping on ice and flipping onto their back, etc. Crazy emotes. They claim that you have to have three level 50s and a level 20 PB or WS. Somehow I don't believe them. Where'd they get these emotes from?

Posted

This is how I was able to do the various emotes that you are talking about. I took my WS, which is a lvl 39 (I do have 3 50's but I don't believe that matters) and went into Dwarf mode. I then waited for the bug that will occur that will make it apear that you have droped back to human form while in fact you are still in Dwarf form. At this point you can choose various emotes that already exist but they will play a differient emote, for example Dance3 will do that drum emote and sittable1 you will have a revolver.

Looking forward to I-9 goodness Mantid.

Mantid model updated to Issue 9 with all the emotes I've found or heard about. Ghost Widow will follow later this week.

Thank you, excellent work as always.

Follow up question, the name of the gif file seems to be the MOV command, is that correct ?

Mostly. There are a couple that aren't merely because of a mistake on my part. Don't remember which ones they were and I haven't felt that it was important enough to go back and correct.

Okies, well, no biggie, most seem to work in demos, at least those I tried, so its still very useful for me as a reference. Thanks again.

Ghost Widow is updated.

Awesome berries

was barf removed?

Posted

As far as I know, barf was never a valid emote, but a bug. Someone who was in Issue 9 beta would have to say if it was valid then or not.

Ah, a shame, since I'd like to use it.

However, it's kinda gross, and I'd imagine having six pets do it per henchmen, all in a crowded area, over and over, would be... well, quite nasty. =>_<=

As opposed to necro mastermind pets which do it over and over again in the course of a fight. By design.

the best guide ever.

this guide is awesome and i use it whenever i can, fyi you forgot to put on /e floatbookslow

floatbookslow?

There doesn't seem to be such an emote... unless its along the lines of dice7...

Wonderful list! It's nice to finally see all the emotes around.

One thing I did notice is that the female sit poses are different than the male. Are you intending to add the female version at some point (not a big deal, just curiosity. It looks like a lot of work as it is!)?

On a side note, does anyone know if there is an emote for the bow the Genin do when summoned for the Mastermind Ninja power set? The one with the hands on the outside of the thighs, and the head bowed (Japanese in flavor)? I looked through the list but didn't see anything like that, and I was hoping it just wasn't on the list.....

And pushed into action by the obvious work that's gone into the list, I went and tested all of the emotes while hovering (on a female Villain. I don't know what they're like for anyone else. May be the same, may be different).

The following are the list of emotes that either don't work, or work in a modified fashion. All the emotes on Mantid's list not listed here do indeed work properly while hovering.

# AFK -- works, but you do "newspaper"
# Akimbo -- doesn't work
# BB -- works, but you don't drop a boombox, and there is no music.
# Boombox -- doesn't work
# Bow -- doesn't work
# Burp -- doesn't work
# CrossArms -- doesn't work
# Crouch -- doesn't work
# Dice7 -- Can't test. Likely works, since dice does.
# DropBoombox -- doesn't work
# ElegantBow -- works, but cycles through elegantbow and welcome
# FancyBow -- works, but cycles between fancybow and welcome
# Flypose1 -- doesn't work
# Flypose2 -- doesn't work
# Flypose3 -- doesn't work
# Flypose4 -- doesn't work
# Handsup -- works, but you also "kneel" in midair with your hands up.
# Invent -- works, but you put one leg up, and one leg straight, in a modified hover pose.
# Ledgesit -- doesn't work
# ListenPoliceBand -- Villain seems to pull out a newspaper for this one. Works in flight.
# Roar -- doesn't work
# Sorry -- doesn't work
# Type -- doesn't work
# Typing -- doesn't work
# Wounded -- doesn't work

The Ghost Widow model should have all the correct Sit emotes for the women. I'll double check that they didn't change any of them since they were added.

Yeah, as for hovering, that's good to know. Hadn't really tried all of them while hovering, although I was aware that Invent had a slightly different animation (wish more of them did!). I'd have to consider where to mention those, however.
