Recluse's Victory: Issue 7 Update!
The Hero base in RV is 'under Atlas.'
So, I'm guessing you talk to the guy in D.A.T.A. and go through a door there that leads to the underground bunker with the portal. Level 40+ only to get through the door (wild spec).

LOgically, the portal should be somewhere in Peregrine Island.
It would be cool if it was in Faultline, however.
[/ QUOTE ]
what?
are you trying to get the heroes to ignore Recluse's Victory or something?

[ QUOTE ]
Since RV takes place in an alternate Atlas, doesn't it make sense to put the portal in our Atlas?
[/ QUOTE ]
It's that kind of decision that probably got that alternate Atlas Park taken over in the first place.
[/ QUOTE ]
Since villains are going to be sometimes taking over RV,wouldn't it then make sense to have the villains able to sneak into your present day AP. I mean, since the alternate AP being taken over is supposed to affect all other dimensions like a ripple effect, some villains should be able to somehow slip into a crack and land somewhere in AP,much to the dismay of lowbies and npc's everywhere.
[Beta Testers]Zombie Man: Harlot is Swan's nickname too. And Dominatrix. And Sister Psyche. And Mynx. And Bobcat. And Synapse.

Guys, guys, guys! They had to make it fair, y'see. CoV seems to only have five signature villians, so they needed to match them up with five heroes. (Although, I wouldn't have chosen Back Alley Brawler, not after reading in the comics that he's an old retired guy.)/quote]
Why are there only five signature villains? As heroes we get to train and accept task forces from all these interesting looking (probably interesting backstories too, but I don't read the comics to find out) heroes, while villains train with "Faceless Arbiter#1" and "Faceless Abiter#2". Heroes get to shop at Cook's Electronics and Pandora's Box, villains go to "Magic Quartermaster." Sure the villains have a lot of flavor elsewhere, but I always feel let down that their aren't more icons for the villains.
Sorry to be the voice of negativity amidst all the enthusiasm, but this looks an awful lot like foced PvP to me. I realize you don't HAVE to go through the portal, but my question is, will the "regular" Atlas Park (and other zones) truly be affected by what happens in RV? Will the events in RV change the landscape of the entire game? If that's the case, I am SO out of here...that's not the game I want to play.

[/ QUOTE ]nope, just the zone of Recluse's Victory itself.

Okay, cool. In that case, I might even give it a try, since I'm going to hit 50 soon and won't have anything else to do with that character. Historically I don't PvP because it seems gratuitous and you don't "get" anything for it, but if there's an actual goal and my efforts have visible consequences it might be fun. What's more, I can get on board with hero vs. villain PvP; hero vs. hero is pointless.
Sorry for the hissy fit; carry on.

I wonder if the Heavy's are affected by group fly...
Hahah, sad thing is, Villains dont even stand a chance in this zone. Its pathetic, really.
Well, if that's true, then you just predicted that there will be no heroes complaining that the PPPs are too powerful.. which would be awesome.

I HEARD THAT ! ROFLMAO !
No, no. You all have it wrong. There's a teleporter device in DATA that will take you to Cheyenne Mountain where the portal is...

The strongest among us will join this struggle. Following me into battle are Manticore, Positron, Sister Psyche, Synapse, and Back Alley Brawler.

And once again, Numina gets completely overlooked.

What about Blue Steel! Poor guy breaks the CWK's human body and gets shafted in everything else.... oh thats right no "shield sets" yet. He better get some long overdue action once those are created.

Blue Steel ftw!
He gets tired of pwning States anyway.
This sounds really great. This may very well replace Siren's Call as my favorite PvP zone.

That's what I assume too, but with those messages from Recluse and Statesman really make is sound like some kind of permanent change could occur to the game based on the zone - but that's what they're supposed to do
Superheroes/villains can't go to the supermarket without making it all dramatic
Just to know:
All that stuff about it becoming true time is just RP fluff right? The battles won't really have any long term effects, correct?

How the alternate dimension fell:
Azuria was last in the building for the night, and agreed to let the "nice new cleaning fellows" into the D.A.T.A. vault. They then took all the portals off for 'special cleaning.'
