Changed the "Profile" link to "Control Panel".
Added links to the appropriate CP section for each different section (IE - main Gallery page has a link to Gallery Upload tool)

Also, the gallery problem seems to have struck again.
If anyone uploads an image to the Gallery and the image *does not show up*, please email the files you used to victorysite@gmail.com .... i desperately want to fix this bug once and for all, and need those files to troubleshoot (considering myself and many others have no problems uploading).
So going to add the link to the SG website.
Well unless ya rather we don't lol.

ok.... i'm not 100% sure what happened, or why it's working now, but it is. I re-arranged the order of some of the upload code, and it just kinda... worked.
I'll keep an eye on it for now. If you are going to upload files, please go check after the first one to make sure it worked, just to be safe and maybe save some time if its not.
If you try and it DOES NOT work, please, email me at victorysite@gmail.com ... and attach the files you were trying with if you would be so kind.

Just a quick note:
I upgraded my cable service to get a higher upload rate. The gallery seems to have improved a lot in terms of load times. I know it was very slow before, so let me know if you are in fact seeing quicker downloads.

actually, they had a special where the first 3 months of the upgraded service was free. i figured i'd give it a whirl, and if there wasn't a noticable difference, i'd switch back. it's only like 5 bucks more a month anyway.
That, and i moved the other couple of sites i host off of GoDaddy hosting back to my home server, now that it's pretty stable again. Wanted some extra "oomph" to cover the hosting and the regular internet usage.
spruced up the gallery a bit. Landing page now displays the top latest 6 submissions per category, and then you can just "View All" or click from the Right-Hand nav to view the full category

Feature Update:
Added an "ONLINE" tab to the main navigation. It's powered by www.citygametracker.com ... so i suggest all victorians use it
Good way to see who's online and playing what. Or, it will be if/when more people start using it.
Small Feature Update:
Created "ComboBox" for Supergroup field when adding or editing a character.
Essentially, you can either type out your SG name completely, or just click the arrow and choose an existing SG from the dropdown - all in teh same box!
Just a little QoL feature
If anyone out there has a position that Polaris can reasonably fill, I implore you to get in contact him and discuss employment opportunities.
It's essential that he get a real job for once!

Well, I guess it's only as "official" as I say it is, but nonetheless!
Work is now complete on the Victory Server site. That said, i figured now was a good time to re-post and announce it's "official" launch.
Features of the site include:
> Character data! Sort and Filter the Character List by AT, Level, Global Handle, and Character name. View in-depth details and mug-shots of individual characters.
> View Player locations! Enabling the map will show you on a Google Maps powered page, where you can visually see where your fellow Victorians are located!
> Read stories written by your fellow server-mates, and share your own!
> Browse through the Victory screenshot Gallery! Check out the "Faces" section for real life photos, and put a face to global handle, or upload and share your own pictures!
> Search for available Hamidon Enhancements players are willing to trade, and post your own to facilitate easier HO trades!
Features will be added fairly regularly (I already have 2-3 planned upgrades coming soon), so this site is definitely something worth tossing in your bookmarks
