Sorry to anyone trying to access my site(s) this morning. Comcast had a "nationwide internet outage"

Should be back up and running now, though.

An update (for those that have had problems getting to my site):

My DNS provider suffered a major DoS attack last night. Since then service has been intermittent and possibly even completely down, depending on your ISP.

i've managed to move off of that DNS service and onto a new one, so within the next 24 hours, everything should be back to normal.

OVS is back up, as is the planner, if anyone is interested

I was messing around with the online planner, working on Fulgrim's (Sonic/Sonic Corr) build and ran into a bug where sometimes I could only 5 slot a power, instead of 6 slot it. I couldn't consistantly recreate this with different powers, however.

I'll see what i can find. Did you use the "Back" button at all (the one on the page, not the browser)? If anyone can duplicate this and give me the steps you took, that'd be great.

Thanks for the head's up, Tycho.

Yeah, I did use the planner interface's back button a bit.

Is the site still up? I have tried the last two nights to get on it but it tells me the page can't be found. Thanks!

through a folly of errors, the site is gone and all the code for is lost

I still have all/most of the actual data, and I'm going to rebuild it but i'm really kind of bummed about it so the motivation just isn't there

heh!

Long story short:

> I lent the old "original" server to my dad after i moved, because i had started using one of his servers in Atlanta. (with the sole instruction NOT to delete anything on the 3rd HDD).

> The planner got so much traffic i killed my "new" server, so i moved it (and only it) to a new hosting provider

> The server in Atlanta was assumed hacked, and my dad's old company ordered it wiped (i didn't learn about this until yesterday)

> The server i lent my dad, which was a full backup of *EVERYTHING* i did, had it's OS reinstalled. My dad forgot to tell the guy that did it not to erase the 3rd HDD.

I lost more than just the Victory site stuff too, but that was what hurt the most

No, no not really...

No, it's like the time you told someone, as a joke, to do a 'rm -r *' in the root of one of the Unix servers at work, and they did....

Wouldn't it be more like you told them NOT TO, but they did anyway?

Cuz they "forgot" or not-so-secrectly hate you.

All right, before i start working on version 4 (what the heck is it really that many?!), i kinda wanted to gauge the actual demand for this site.

If i worked on a new version, would you use it?
