Recently, a radio station in my area sponsored a jukebox charity. You call in and pledge $25, and they'll play any song at all that won't get their license revoked by the FCC. All proceeds went to build a new Ronald McDonald house. So I ponied up $75 to hear 2 songs: Bobby Darin's "Mack the Knife", and They Might Be Giants' "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)".
The station was a Top 40 pop station. The volunteer who got my call was probably all of 16. I was on my cell phone, trying to get her to understand that They Might Be Giants was the band. "Mack the Knife" she took as Matt the Knight. Seriously. It was still worth the $75.
