We REALLY need some way to like, vote griefers out of the zone or something. It's been really bad tonight.
Well if new people are reading this, then I can clue them in on something. Dont tell me what to do :P. Ive done enough raids (and led enough) so where I know every aspect of a raid, and I do not need some brand new PL'd 50 telling me not to attack hamidon when I had nothing targeted except for Major T during the entire mito clearing phase.
Sorry if this sounds a little harsh, but things like this REALLY piss me off.

Yeah, Phoebus used to get that a lot with Char. Even though Elec gets Tesla Cage in its Primary, many blasters, and some scrappers, too, get holds in their Ancillaries.

Yes, by all means, watch for attackers during the hold phase, but if you see something you're unsure about, ask about it instead of just rudely sniping at those of us trying to help out how we can. Notice the call goes out "All Holders into the mold," not just "All Controllers."
I have been trying to convince people that politeness counts. If someone /tell'd you "It seems that you are attacking hami, could you please stop? We are supposed to be holding only." would you not be more inclined to respond with "The only power I am using at the moment IS a hold. Many blaster sets get holds as well." ?
Then we would all be better educated and happier! Politeness begetts politness. I ask the same thing of those being /tell'd as those that do the telling, when possible, be polite in your answers, keeps everyone's eyes from turning too red. Of course, where it isn't possible, just /ignore the [censored].

I agree... albeit as of now I am a fresh 50... but I've been playing this same char for 15 months and only finally have made it to my 40s and susequently to 50 (well will be in a few hours anyways)... Either way I've been around long enough to know who is a noob and who isn't so I know that ppl like mini, river, lab, ish, major etc etc etc don't need any reminders...
I almost think that everybody should have to wait as long as me to get to 50... (other than the fact that I'm a wee bit spiteful about it all) because it means that they know the way things work.
Plus I've wanted to make it to a hammi raid for so long that I've been pining away on the channels listening to chatter... and on the boards too...
oh and FYI my idea isn't really serious in any sense of the word but I just wish ppl would be less ignorant about things....

Unfortunately, there always is. Granted, last night was moreso than most nights, but yeah, there's always SOMEONE(S) who tries to get us all killed.
Now, granted, the monsters aren't very far away, and I think sometimes they just kinda wander in close enough that someone catches their attention, but mostly when a monster storms the mold, its led there intentionally. Same with blasting Hami... I admit that at least twice in my carreer, while clearing mitos, I got carried away and shot at what I thought was a next-to-dead mito and accidently had targetted Hami while fast-clicking... usually followed by an instant faceplant on my part. It DOES happen... But again, unfortunately, all too often, its not really accidental.
...I know I started out with a point in mind, but hell if I can remember what it was...

The thing is, if I had done it, I would have had no problem whatsoever with anyone telling me to stop. The thing of it is though is that I had Major T targeted the entire mito clearing phase, so unless he targeted him, I didnt attack hamidon. Even after I explained this to the person who sent me a tell, this person continued to tell me (in caps) to stop and that im ruining the raid.
EDIT: Meh, decided to edit this cause it sounded a little harsh :P. Anyway, I was talking to Ish during the hold phase, and I really dont know what the lesser of two evils are: leading a raid, or going to a raid normally. Leading theres a lot of stress, but you dont have to deal with anyone arguing with you. Everyone accepts u know exactly what you are doing (as they should if u are leading) and thers no problems there. Also, you get rez'd immediately after u die .
If you dont lead, you have to deal with a lot of time dead, and also have to put up with things like this.

Nope *says in a small voice* I've done it too, I cringed in anticipation of the group getting hit, but fortunately, I don't think I hit enough to get his aggro to the group. I've since learned to just friend the targetter so I can easily select em.
I've also been a targetter and clicked on Hami instead of the mito between me and Hami, fortunately, no one chose that moment to fire a shot - or if they did, it didn't get his aggro.

I was trying my best to NOT target Hamidon... thanks for noticing guys. I was also trying my best to pick out targets as quickly as possible (without accidentally targetting Hami).
I know I made some mistakes, and I apologize for them. And I'll gladly take any advice and constructive criticism into consideration for the next time I am presented with that responsibility. Ishmael: thanks for giving me those pointers!

Not likely... I've managed to shoot Hami... and I use my scrapper for raids... (even though my tank has more holds)

Perhaps I should finish up that Hami site. 
Started making it the time then shortly after raids became extinct again and I scrapped it.
Since we're doing raids, it wouldn't do to lose this thread. It's very helpful.
