I've had Thank You saved on my computer forever. I watch it every week. I just can't get past that Freakshow on City Hall scene. Mr. Abyss did a great job on that.

Yeah, I downloaded that video almost a year ago. I had been wanting to play CoH from the start, but alas school can be a cruel mistress. That video still makes me laugh, and I envy the abyssess editing skills .
I wasn't sure where I was going with this post, but I want to give a big THANK YOU! to the fine folks that made this video. It helps me out of funks that I get into, all I need for a laugh is a doubleclick away.

Generally speaking, I don't "get" fan videos. People pick a song and then put a bunch of footage from the game with it. I shrug and go on my way, wondering why they bothered. I've stopped watching them. So, I read a couple of people raving about this video, so I figured, if people are still raving about it a year after it was made, WTH, I'll give it a watch.
To say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. What an amazing video. Mr. Abyss did something I never see with these, which is use demorecord to tell an actual story! And the song choice was absolutely perfect. Kudos, and thanks for making me laugh out loud AND feel all warm n fuzzy inside.
I agree, I still have this video on my playlist, I've had it since it was first posted. One of the best fan videos I've ever seen. :-) *raises his can of mountain dew in salute.

I'm glad I was able to keep that up all these years. Making those videos were a lot of fun. It's strange knowing this game isn't going to be around anymore. Very, very strange and disconcerting.
