I just created this supergroup with my lvl 16 Spartan Warrior. Tiberius Dark and myself are brothers and have kids that need tending to from time to time so this group is for people who can play when they can play. Obviously I have sort of a Greek Mythology slant on this supergroup but that doesn't mean that everyone has to fit into classic mythology. Eventually, there will be a backstory to the group that will allow flexibility for all characters to fit in. There will be no application process except for playing in game with a recruiter before being excepted.

The Shadow-Knights are a group of average people who decided they wanted to take back the streets of Paragon City. There's nothing overly special about these "heroes", the can't fly, they don't ran at superspeeds, they only have their indomitable will driving them to defend their city.
We're naturals, a-la Batman, Greenarrow, Hawkeye, Punisher. We only have abilites that a moderatly funded person with intense drive and proper training could achieve. This does limit options, but at the same time makes for a very enjoyable playing experience. So if you're interested please contact one of the above leaders or join our global channel.

Hey, so, we're all essentially just players in the 35-45 level range, and we're all on pretty consistently, and we're all good players.
I've gone this long without an SG, for a variety of reasons. For one thing, SGs never really have any kind of mission statement...they're just groups of heroes. Some SGs require that you waste one of your costume slots on their hideous design -- lame. So basically, an SG is either too involved or not involved enough.
But now they have some new content coming up, and suddenly being in an SG will open up all kinds of new gameplay, including base design and collecting power artifacts. Well, we're all about collecting power artifacts.
So that's the plan. We're gonna collect us some objects of power, protect them from everyone else (read: totally hoard them), and look good doing it.

The Order of the Silver Hand (TOSH) was formed in City of Heroes within a few hours of CoH going retail. We have a very large player base(100+)with several thousand posts on our forums.
We're a five+ year old guild with experience in many different games.

Our average player is from 25-40 years of age, but we welcome mature players from 15 to 50. We are a "social" group and have over 50,000 posts on our various message boards.
We're organized and have a lot of guild events. We're made up of both hardcore AND casual players, so you'll always have someone around to group with regardless of if you're looking to PvP or PvE.
We play on the Justice server, and are seeking a few good men and women! We are likely to concentrate more over the next few weeks on villains, but we all have heroes as well, and will have a guild on both sides.
The Order of the Silver Hand has grown to transcend 14 MMORPG games. Currently we run guilds in CoH/CoV, Dark Age of Camelot, Final Fantasy XI, World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, and Star Wars Galaxies. (We no longer run active guilds in Asheron's Call 1, Shadowbane, Asheron's Call 2, Horizons, EQ, or Anarchy Online though many of our players still play these games.) We are also looking forward to starting new guilds as new MMORPG games are marketed. Why look for a new guild and friends just because you change games? Join us and have old friends waiting for you if you decide to play something else.
In each game, The Order of the Silver Hand is a social guild offering friendship, information, and the benefit of our knowledge to all. A combined SG which was constructed of people from across the boards who wanted to work together to join up and create a premier supergroup. We extremely active with a large amount of players online at all times.

SG peak hours: I'd say the most ovbious busy times are evenings and weekends as a lot of our members are in the states and work your basic 9-5 job. However we have plenty of members in other countries and working odd hours that are on throughout the day and night. In fact, two of our commanders are night owls.
Other Info: We've been here almost as long as the game has. We started as a simple group of friends and have grown enormously, revamped a couple times, and now are a large SG. We have regular events nearly everyweekend and team frequently as an SG outside of those events. Our events are everything from TF's to missions grinds to PVP tourneys. Our main objective is to get together and have a good time.
We have three SG's. One for our Main character, this is The Crimson Sun, and also the place where any new recruits might be placed. The next is The Crimson Sun Deux where we place our alts, each person is allowed up to three alts at this time. The third is The Crimson Sun Elite, which is the place meant for our level 50's and Kheldian characters. (At this moment there is discussion of rearranging the different groups to be level based, but it is not yet an actuality)
We have several resources provided at this time. An SG website and forum are available and use of this forum is a requirement (a fairly new rule being implemented). You will need to be registered before admission into the SG. We have a teamspeak server available. Use is requested and recommended but not required. Using it, however, makes team play a lot more fun and simple. We have a global channel, The Crimson Sun, for our various groups to communicate, even when there on a none SG toon.
Other requirements include an inactivity limit of NO MORE than 20 days. At which time you will be kicked and sent an email stating why. Also, we have an SG costume required BY LEVEL 20. Specifics for this costume are posted on our forums.
Respect and courtesy are expected and any instance where is is not used will be addressed immediately.
We are a sarcastic group of people, we joke around a lot and take jabs. So being able to handle that kind of behaviour is strongly suggested. Anything else you might need to know please send a tell to @smokesignal or @electraflame, and we'll be happy to help you.
