I'm not knocking Photobucket. In fact, props goes to them for being one of few places that still does free image hosting. I'm just one of those "just in case" guys, you know?

Yep, I understand =)

Personally I liked the little white square with an X through it. But this one has style. Nothin beats the X though, especially mine.

I've used photobucket for about 2 years now and I have NEVER encountered the bandwidth limits. Dunno, just a thought.

I've seen the Photobucket Bandwidth Exceeded image a few times. Not sure how it can happen, but it's possible. (In much the same way a meteorite strike is possible, I suppose.)

With all my screenshot posting and weird photoshopped images, I've exceeded the bandwidth limit many times.

Ooo! Looks great States!

That looks sharp!

Good job on the design and the idea.

Congrats!

The real reason it's hosted on photobucket and not with the forum software...no one trusts States with access to the server

Kudos to the community for generating the contest and the avatar, and kudos to Statesman for making it his own.

I think it's only missing one thing, and that's the multiple-stars in a row down the side of it somewhere.

So how does everyone else see it?

I know I can see statesmman's c drive. I keep moving th controller issue to the top of his to do list. He kept putting it down to the bottom, untill recently! Now its in the middle . . .

I could host it, too, but I still think it would be a better idea to put it directly on the server. Like at http://boards.cityofheroes.com/images/icons/states.gif

Heck, even Cuppa has her icon elsewhere. I know it's not exactly the most crucial thing to do, but it also only takes moments to do.

Consider Statesman to be the hero of Democracy… hosting his image on Photobucket just like the rest of the (un)common masses.

I think it’s great - keep it there!
