Because the public opinion of our SG matters to any of us.

i was sidelined with RL issues for most of the time the ex-VR/new-PE folks were with us, but i've spoken with Ajax before, and NRG last night (briefly), and i'll say they both seemed like class acts. from everything i've heard from the team, it wasn't a PE/VR group, we were "a team". even though i've not been back long, i know enough to say that PE is not bitter about the ex-VR (now ex-PE) folks leaving, but it does suck for us because they were great additions to our team. i really hate that i didn't get the pleasure of hanging out with them while they were PE, but i look forward to getting to know them all now that i'm back, and wish them great success with their new group
.
as far as the heckler last night, even though he was pretty ignorant with regards about what he was talking about, i'm sure that what he was saying had nothing to do with their decision to leave.
[/ QUOTE ] Selah, that was me last night on nrgfx, if you need any help with getting up to pace again, send me a pm here or on gp.
Also, and this isnt directed at you selah, I thought I made it pretty clear when I said that there were no VR in PE and that there were only PE in PE. One of alary's ragdolls isn't going to make me or anyone that left do anything. If thats not abundantly clear, keep making speculations. -
Since you obviously know nothing about the why we decided to leave, there is no reason to add your opinion.

Barrier's builds are good..its not like he gets farmed with them or anything....

People dropping off the OS roster 1 by 1...
Don't pull a VR rite now. -
Oh i'm not arguing that. Freaks had a crazy good roster and I've been lucky to play with great pvpers like Foo and Hans and even you and I know how good jax is.
I'm probably bias since i'm used to hearing about victory guys, but with people like Demon, Patient V, Loan, Lab and Cuch (just to name a few) it seemed like on paper they should have been able to beat any SG. -
Penance losing to freaks displays how raw talent still needs to practice. Penance was an all-star roster, but Freaks worked their [censored] off.
-
You really made a bias story, but okay.
Veng at the time wasn't a secret, if any groups on test didn't know about veng then lol them. 10mop not knowing about veng stacking displays their lack of practice on test as it was impossible to find a group who didn't try to stack veng when veng was allowed. You've already read the NDX and FoL practiced Veng gathers. OS practiced, but were in a little bit of a loop as they had just lost some key players to HVND (RIP Veil). Hvnd was extremely private with their practices, which is why them bringing a storm team against LD was a pretty big suprise. If you want to say pvp is more fun now than it was back then, you can; I think matches with a total kill count of over 10 are more fun.
And Super max, I'm not upset, I just find it funny that you're trying to make it seem like old JaL wasn't awful by saying you beat LD in a pentad...that says enough about how serious I should take you. -
I think ABH was very reluctant to leave Infinity for a while, which is why no one was able to get an official with them.
-
They deleted the Coh scores in the LD forums so I couldn't tell you exactly who we fought, but the concensus within LD by the end of 2006 was that there was no reason to play CoH after the hvnd official since no one wanted to fight us and challenging lower tier groups isn't very fun for either group.
-
I think ABH, but at the time they were in a lot of internal problems and weren't ready for an official. People did officials so rarely back then that I think most of a SG's rank was based off of practices since a lot can change in a month between an official. There wasn't a ladder, but people had a vague idea of where they were in the food chain.
-
Read my post. I said LD at peak, not right after they lost all their players to penance. Ld started their winning streak against Lotd and beat almost every SG in the game, never fought Velocity I think.
-
Ld and Jal weren't close.
I remember one practice match before your official with whoever, fol maybe, i dont remember. We did a 20 min match and it was something like 120-8. I can't remember ever having a close practice match with JaL in LD, as said before, JaL was kind of the whipping boy of SGs. -
JaL wasn't competitive with LD when they were at their peak.
Bring back veng stacking +1 -
That wasn't before they lost almost all their members and picked up the best players in Unleashed (or all of it, idk how many people were in it)
-
Veng stacking ended when NDX beat OS by like 1000 kills

My account is actually @Knockaround Guy, thanks
