personally i love reading these posts from armchair programmers such as comfort. really i do. people with no real knowledge about what they are trying to speak of, yet they continue to talk out of their [censored] as if their word was gospel.

code me something as good as CoH and maybe i'll acknowledge your skills. until then, you are nothing more than a windbag flexing his internet muscles.

Comfort's next gaming project: City of Trolls.

I would've never guessed Freakshow had an insult to throw in. The pot calling the kettle black.

If the kettle -is- black, the pot's still -right-.

Ok

Irrespective of anyone's opinion here, what i'd like to see is some proof.

Comfort, you have informed us that you have done these things, in 10 minutes no less. Now, obviously you can use the argument that if you show us, Cryptic can take your stuff and use it themselves.

So why don't you show us stuff you have done that is unrelated to CoH. If your this good, you must have practiced.

btw, i can make a 3d model of a cape that looks far better than the capes in CoH. I can even animate it - woohoo, great for me. I couldn't do it in game, because mine is an animation, just that, nothing more. There is nothing included in the animation that will dictate how that cap interacts with a virtual world.

Your also right, i could, using assorted graphic programmes, take a snapshot of a location, and modify the objects within it. But then, i can't then slot that back IN to the game engine without working on the engine itself.

But back to the point, if you are this good, you didn't just pick up this skill out of nowhere, so show us your own work, tell us what games you have worked on, prove to us that you can do even half of what you say you can.

Because, at the end of the day, if you are telling the truth, and you could re-code a working tileset for CoH in a few hours, then you can bet some gaming house will want that expertise. If you want, if you can prove you can do this, i'll put in a good word with my brother (works for a gaming house based in Tulsa - i'll let you work out who)

I am more apt to believe he found what you said funny for the misconception it implies.

And that's just what he likes. Good little players who pay their $15 and don't ask questions about where the missing half of the game is or why it takes so long to do such simple things.

But you know better, because of the plutonium atom that is a universe inside your brain, right?

Or are you the only person in America the CIA isn't mind-controlling with x-ray laser Sputniks?

Ooh, I know, I know, it's all a conspiracy by the Rockefeller Right-Wing Rich Man's Mafia!

So when are you going to get around to ripping off Statesman's mask to reveal that he's really James Cameron, the favored son of the Masonic Illuminati?
