This forum is for Guides and FAQs only. If you have a question, post it in general forums or other appropriate forum. Posts in this forum should never "roll off" like other forums so please, only post guides/FAQs. There is a sticky thread called "Guide to Guides" that is the first place you should look to find a guide/FAQ.

All other posts will be moved/removed in an effort to keep this a forum where you can find the information you need!

Thanks Heroes!

What about as a place for game related software? Or will there be a forum added for that?

It really helps when people make guides if you would title the thread "Guide to ____" That way, we can do a forum search of just this forum for the word "guide", and they all pop up.

But questions/additions to guides within the guide post are fine, right?
And what about if someone posts a guide, and later wants to post an updated version of it? (like say, a bunch was added and want to make a new post so it'll look cleaner) From what I heard, after a bit a post can't be edited anymore. At least, it used to be true, not sure right now.

feedback within a thread is very constructive and often lends as much forsight into the topic as the origional post!

and as it stands right now, you cannot edit posts after a given time period. (this appears to be hardwired into UBB rather than a choice on the Admin's part). So it can be rather necisary to post up new versions of old guides, when this happens, i would:

1) make sure to name it in a logical fashion to indicate its the more recent (v2.3, etc)
2) reply to your old one saying that it is outdated and should be wiped.
3) send me a PM if the mods don't accept PM's and I will throw a sock at them about deleteing the old version.

The forums are currently bugged. The villainside version is running better currently than the heroside, just change the 'heroes' in the URL with 'villains' to see the villain interface.

In the future, tech problems like this should go into the Tech forum, where there is already a thread about the forum problems or the Player Questions forum where there are several threads about this problem.
