If these means I can rez at the hospital with full health and endurance then yes.

I thought PVP was fun and casual until it was decided there needed to be some sort of penalty for death.
  2. Is this a reinvite back weekend as well?

If it is I'm gonna start stealth installing this game on the computers of 3 explayers I know in RL who haven't been back since CoV launched.

I called 2 of them last reinvite weekend and told them, but they didn't wanna sit through a download when they could spend that time playing anther game.
  3. The giant honking swords coming out of her forearms aren't unique enough?
  4. I sent a tell to Dr Aeon and asked him. I wonder if it got misplaced

    Anyway the mapname is:
    MapName maps/Missions/unique/V_Grandville/MisdirectedPortal_Generic.txt
    MapSet Unique
    UniqueMapCategory "Dev Only"
As you can see it's an older file from March last year when it was available on test (under the special dev only category to help with testing).
    Is it under Unique/Grandville?
  8. Can you open that file up with notepad and locate the map name?

you should find a block of info that looks like this towards the top
    MapName maps/Missions/CargoShip/CargoShip_Layout_03.txt
    MapSet CargoShip
    MapLength Small
Even if they moved the map it make make it easier for others to know what the game calls the map and not what its named as in the interface.

Also have you bought all the map packs from the AE store so far?
  9. Second Measure, I can get a 2 topping pizza delivered for 12.95, but I can't decide what toppings to get. I love pepperoni but I'm afraid I'll pick the wrong topping with my second choice. What 2nd topping do you recommend I get?

I go Corrupter since I can get an Attack Chain faster, and the real nice Storm goodies (freezing rain, hurricane) are all pick able by level 20. Also Corrupters on teams with nice Damage Buffs can get around the Damage Cap rather easily thanks to Scourge.

I leveled up my Storm/Energy fender long, long ago. I had and still have no interest in taking Nova. On my defender that meant I had to go from lvl 35 to level 41 without any new powers to choose from that I wanted. I've found that if I choose powersets that have a great power pick at 38 I'm more likely to level them into the 40s, maybe all the way to 50.

This is most likely due to my altism then game design, but I recognize it and do small things to try to avoid it.

Maybe you could call that a Headpalm emote, but you can't call that a Facepalm
    emote.
  12. You should have went with Marvin.
  13. Have you seen this Vivian?

I thought a bunch of people were yanking my chain about an animal pack until I saw this picture (and decided it was NOT part of some leg yanking plot).
  14. I have something similar. Since we got the Pop Up Exclamation Points (which I immediately turn off) I have a thin dead along the right on my monitor. Its in the middle edge between the top and the bottom corners.

It's right where I have a vertical Power Tray and I can't access the lower 6 icons unless I drag the whole tray over a little bit. I can then drag my tray back and ever thing is hunky dory.

Okay, it costs less than it did a few years ago but only a little has been added like the D's and RWZ beacons. And a brief pass of the Ultra Mode that may or may not be related to stock files anyway.
As someone who built a second floor in their base when the only stacking tool was a magic desk, that you had to rotate in a certain direction x amount of times I have to say the removal of pathing issues and the abilty to use so many other items to stack with was a major improvement.

Remember the devs put time into revampimg bases. The system they came up with was considered to be unfun. We ended up with a better version of the same old thing that we had before.
  16. when I first heard of the Gladiators I thought it was going to be like Final Fantasy Tactics. I don't know why I thought it would be a turn based chess match but I had pictured something like Star Wars Chess.

The rest of this game is totally interactive, gladiators are the most passive thing in the game next to hanging out in Atlas just to read Broadcast.
  17. I'm gonna say Energy/Storm corruptor but there are several other great choices. What Storm gives you is Gale, which is just a massive aoe knockback that you get early. This is your hammer. Energy gives you Power Thrust which is single target high mag knockback. This is your scalpel.

Sometimes you want to knock everything down, sometimes you're only gonna want to knockdown one mob.

Sonic Blast/Forcefields does the Hammer and Scalpel of Knockback better, but I prefer Storm over Forcefields much more.

The character I have that does the Hammer the best is a Sonic/Dark corruptor. Tar Patch makes a great target for all the mobs I'm Knocking around. Dark also gives me a nicer toggle for toggle-tanking then Storm. Storm's toggle makes everyone run soooo sloooow.

Grav/Storm Controllers get an honorable mention from me. The AOE immobilze isn't going mess up your knockback, and lift is awesome Knockup single target control. I just feel Grav gets a little weak in the 20s. Until you can get a few slots into Wormhole.

    I hope my opinion helps.

If you did notice and went on your rant, then I'm glad the devs are used to dealing with customers who act like petty children.

    Issue 19.5

Second Measure is quickly moving to the top of the list of my favorite Devs. Even when he makes a mistake my life gets better.

I did not know there was a WUSIWYG editor option for the boards

Shortly after KR safeguard was introduce I stop doing this in the Hollows since so much of the Virtue Playerbase stopped going to the Hollows at all and just ran KR radio missions for a couple of levels.

I miss the Taxibots, their whole shtick was helping others out, but the game got rid of the need for that much assistance. I do remember Talshak sent me to fight Igneous in the Gulch. It was a slow night in the Hollows so a Taxibot sk'd down to help me. We wiped. He told me to stay put, rezzed in his base, brought me an awaken, unsk'd, and starting killing Igneous for me.

He made me promise not to tell anyone, he didn't want people thinking Taxibots would show up and clear your mission for you.

    Thank you Taxibot.
