    In 2012 the Xmen, Avengers and Spiderman are all younger then me.
  2. The next set of ATOs for stalkers has a proc that will automatically recharge BU.

    It's a HP shield basically. If you have 300 HP and 50 Absorb, incoming damage would be applied to the absorb first and any leftover damage is applied to your HP. A shotgun blast that does 75pts of damage would wipe out your Absorb and leave you at 275 HP.

    If my understanding of this new mechanic is correct
  4. I hope the revamped KR has rooftops similar to those found in Mercy and Cap. There's large parts of those zones that can be traveled by rooftop. Daredevil, Batman, Spiderman and the TMNT, not to mention dozens of other superheroes did all their traveling by rooftop. There is no place in Paragon that really manages to capture that experience.

  6. Those DPS numbers are from a pylon text, if the tests where done against something like a Malta Titian, with a ton of Lethal resist the numbers would be a lot closer. My phantoms are 2/3 fire/ice damage and 1/3 lethal damage.

    The biggest problem I have with Phantoms is they have so few attacks. A slow, something as common as webnade is just going to kill their DPS, where as a Cimeroran which has 5 or 6 attacks isn't going to be standing around idle.

    Cimerorans also seem to have a smarter AI, they seem to always run into melee and start stabbing enemies. My phantom seems to think he is a ranged fighter, even though he only has one ranged attack.

    The only thing my phantoms handles better then my cimrorans is knockback. My phantom spends half the time flying, so if he gets knockbacked he'll just do a little flip. My cimerorans just go ragdolling.
  7. Elec blast really suffers from only having 2 st attacks, it's the only blast set I've every used that I felt I had to start off fights using my snipe.
  8. Freebie Friday is a promotion aimed at the freeloaders and low tiered Preems who don't use the market. All you ViPs who get 400+ pts a month already have your incentive to use the market.

    People are ******** about free stuff for people who don't pay a cent for this game.

  10. I wonder what network this is going to end up on? It's been a long, long time since I read the book but I remember there being a lot more depth to the story in the book then the movie, a mini series may allow more of that story to get told.

    The book was released a couple of years ago a small amount of new material added, has anyone read the anniversary edition of the Exorcist?

    The horror movie I want to see remade is the Omen 1 & 2. Those were some scary movies when I was a kid.

  12. How would adding the 3 new slots to level 50 NOt cause the same problems that adding the slots to 25-29 caused?
  13. So I'm positive the new IO set is going to be level 10+, the new IO set and the new ATOs on beta just haven't been properly "Tagged" yet. You can observe the "Tag" on live right now with the ATOs from the super packs.

    If you drag an ATO into chat you'll notice the ATO name is suffixed with a .1


    If you remove the .1 from the ATO name you'll end up with an ATO that claims it can't be slotted until level 47.



    When the new ATOs were discovered on Beta there was a lot of confusion since all the new IOs claimed to be level 47+ enhancements, but if you type out the name of one of the new ATOs and add .1 to the end of the name you'll end up with an ATO that says it can be slotted at level 10.

    Actually on further investigation if you remove the level (in chat) from any enhancement (SO, ATO, IO) the game engine assumes the enhancement is level 50. So I believe the new IO we saw in the Summer Event preview and the new ATOs that were discovered on beta haven't had a level (of 1) assigned to them yet. That's why all the screen shots we have claim these new enhancements are only usable at levels 47+.

    When you play a level 50 character level 50 enhancements drop, when you play a level 20 character level 20 enhancements drop. We saw a level 50 enhancement drop for a level 50 character, that's why that enhancement can only be used on level 47+ characters.

  20. If the man in the basement had gotten the audio to work correctly, and we would have been able to hear what the devs were saying, the last live event would have been more enjoyable. I hope that problem is solved for todays broadcast.
  21. I only scanned the thread quickly but has anyone mentioned that Dark Regen is bugged and uses the wrong animation? On the live servers Dark Regen is using the Old Unyielding animation. Dark Regen roots you for close to 3 seconds, the animation DR should be using did not root you and didn't last anywhere near 3 seconds.
