    Sorry didnt mean suspend my 400 pts but just the extra 150. If they kept the 400 points and gave me a 15% discount on in store items as a VIP I would be ok with that deal.

    I understand your argument here SG but i spend or would spend way more money than that 150 or even my current stipend. Heck, I would be fine if they suspended my monthly stipend and gave me a blanket discount of 10-15% off every item in store as a VIP. That way I feel like I am actually worth something in their eyes.

    Thanks for posting this Zwill and I hope everyone at Paragon has a great holiday season.

    Now onto the meat of the issues. I rarely post on the forums since reading them is entertainment enough but I thought this was a great invitation to voice some concerns. Firstly, I am a tier 9 vet (purchased enough points to qualify after starting as a tier 8) and I have spent probably $250 on points and items in the store.

    That being said, I am fortunate enough to be in a position to do that and not suffer greatly. However, as time has worn on, i wonder why I am spending so much when several of these services were included in my subscription price several years ago. New powersets, new IO's, new costumes (not costume sets or boosters packs but once upon a time new costumes were something we all looked forward to with issue releases), and even new systems were all included in my subscription.

    Now I am paying a subscription for. . . Hmmmm, my incarnate abilities that I utilize on 4 or 5 of my 50 characters (still wondering why some incarnate items are not global unlocks or why we cant share salvage across accounts). And, other than that, I cant think what else my subscription buys me. I have a year subscription on my main and 6 month on my second account and I am letting the second account lapse after the 1st of the year because I just dont see the point in paying. I am wondering why I am paying for my 1st account even some days.

    What you could do? Well, as many have stated how about making us VIP's feel like, you know, VIP's? Yes, I appreciate access to the beta server and previews of upcoming issues, powersets, items, trials, and so on but then I have to pay for some of this when it is released?!??! What?!?!? Huh?!?! How am I VIP if I have the same restrictions as everyone else?

    Ok, i am getting way to long winded here so here is a synopsis of things I would like to see to keep me as a VIP for a long time to come:
    1) bug fixes getting addressed quicker instead of at some point
    2) Allow VIP's of tier 7,8 or 9 (or whatever arbitrary level you want) to be able to share incarnate salvage across an account. And I dont mean with a ridiculous conversion rate through Astrals or Emps!
    3) Include either powersets, powerset skins, or costumes with issue updates like you used to do 3,4 or 5 years ago.
    4) Either increase the points we receive as a VIP, increase our token rewards, or. . .

    5) Give VIP's a discount for in store purchases! Seriously, in my business I give my higher tiered members an extra 10 or 20 percent off their purchases and you know what. . .They keep coming back for more and more. It incentivizes my other customers to look into upgrading their memberships and thereby brings me more overall revenue.

    Funny thing is I did the same. Bought my initial 10 and then went back and looked at the alts I have who end up coming out for TF's and trials and such. Still not sure if I am going to buy more but at least I have a couple more days to think about it.

    Seems like NCSoft made a good investment in offering at least this item for Black Friday weekend.

    At first, I wasnt going to purchase any of these IO's as I have a few in storage in my base but the more I thought about it the more I was convinced they were a great deal since you can slot them early on and receive the bonus throughout. However, looking at the sets I realized I rarely use full sets so I decided to just go with the +recharge.

    Just wondering what the rest of you did and how well these sold? Personally, I think they made a killing this weekend on selling at least the +recharge.

    What about all of you?

    I redid my TW/Fire brute on beta this morning. Hitting the soft-cap (actually around 47% to S/L) without the melee bonus and jumped into a couple missions. . . I can tell you with the tier 4 cardiac this was a ballet of death! I haven't had this much fun with a toon in a long, long time.

    Yes, leveling him will be a challenge with end issues but otherwise. . . SO MUCH FUN!

    Font Sizes in Game

    Nope. 23 inch LED monitor. New computer that I having issues with so no clue. It is an XPS 8300 and the game looks incredible but the font sizes and refresh rate are insane. Honestly, the menu fonts are in 2 point and the game looks like it is in fast forward.

    The fast forward I can get used to since it just looks like I am killing things fast but the fonts are killing me. May try that Tweak CoH and see if it works.

    Evening everyone!

    Well, i finally broke down and upgraded my computer today. Unfortunately, ever since installing the game client and the NCSoft launcher I cannot seem to get a correct font size in game.

    The chat font is fine and I resized that to 13 pt. I had to resize my windows to 138% to get them a decent size on screen. However, when I click on the menu tab the drop down menu font is like 2pt. I have reloaded, restarted, shut down, gone through every menu in game, asked on the help channel, verified files, and even messed with my internet explorer options and nothing seems to help.

    Does anyone have an idea of what I can do next?

    DM/Regen?

    One of my fastest toons to 50 was my DM/Regen Scrapper and I was just wondering if it is worthwhile to pursue the build on a stalker. I have heard about the aoe crit bonus for fireball and have never been able to "get into" a stalker but it is one of 4 AT's I dont have a 50 in yet.

    So is it worth it to roll?

    Fort/NW Build

    So, I started playing a lowbie Widow and forgot how fun she was. So I dusted off my old lvl 50 Fortunata, transferred her to a new server and decided to deck her out in IO's today. Luckily, i had been saving my LoTG's for a couple tanks/brutes I have been leveling so I saved some cash.

    After IO'ing out the Fort build though I started to wonder about her NW build so I turned around, respeced her 2nd build and voila! What do you think of the builds - had to conserve some cash so no purples in her but so far she is a blast!

    Took both builds on a couple BAF runs and must say the Fort build is awesome. Guess I have a new incarnate to work on.

    Evening all! Okay, i have promised myself that after running through 100's of BAF and LAM's I would start working on a few new characters and focus on AT's I dont usually play. So here I am with my first defender past 25 and I am wondering if I choose the wrong combination.

    I went with cold/ice and while I am starting to see the possibilities I am wondering if this girl is destined for greatness or mediocrity? I played dark on my MM's so I didnt want to go that route and am working on a DP/Traps corrupter (another AT i never played much of) so I wanted to do something a little different.

    Her build looks solid but still wondering if this girl will be able to do great things solo and with teams? What do you think?

    Here's the build i used. I gave up on the girl since her damage output wasnt to my liking. I will say looking at your build DR is severely underslotted if you plan on using it at all. The end cost will kill you. Mine is slightly lower in recharge, slightly higher in defense, and I can run tactics which helps.

    Honestly with claws not sure why you need "more recharge" but if you do go with your Alpha slot and destiny recharges.

    Thanks for the feedback all. I decided to reroll but combine 2 of my brutes and go with DM/Invul. I know that combo is capable of amazing things and my main is so focused on AoE damage it might be fun to roll up a single target monster for awhile.

    I also made a SM/Invul and may level both at the same time. Always love SM on a brute even though the end requirements are crazy!

    Ok, i have been playing the incarnate trials regularly since they came out. Have my main character at all tier 4's and my secondary character all in tier 3's but I need a break from the grind.

    So I started looking at rolling up new characters to run through Preatoria once again since i enjoy the storylines. But i cant seem to find anything that I want to play at a low level. So I was actually contemplating rerolling an old favorite toon (SM/WP Brute) and playing her through.

    My question, is it crazy to reroll a character I already took to 50 just to play content that I have already played in the past?

    Ok, so I some how forgot to post the build, and have since cleared without saving >.>....
    Not quite sure how you see a waste of slots in either build. That first build is capped at 50% (which with 1 purple pretty much caps me in all the incarnate trials) to S/L/F/C/E almost capped against neg and 20% to psi and still running at 127% recharge.

    As for the second build. . . I prefer that build but it is definitely a little priceier.

    I was reading through the changes for EA coming down the pipeline, as well as the WM/EA thread about being strong and pretty, so I dusted off my own and have been working out a couple builds.

    Now I need help. Which build looks better to all of you?

    I will likely drop off Tactics to pick up the heal with the upcoming changes but I am just wondering which will be more functional. Should I go with the higher overall numbers on defense (#1) or stick with the slightly lower numbers with better buffs (#2)
