WM/EA Lost?
EA could be Electric Armor or Energy Aura.
I'm going to wait until Mids' is updated to try to make or review any Energy Aura builds. The changes are not on live servers and they could still adjust the numbers, so power information on test is not worth making a build around.
Sorry it is Energy Aura (didnt think there were any changes to Electric Armor). But these are not builds designed around test just current build ideas.

As for the OP... I cannot look now because I'm on my phone but I like to cap s/l/n/e and have about 30% ranged for the psi stuff.
I have seen people posting Electric Armor builds and calling it "EA" in the title.
With changes in the works, I don't know if it is worth investing in a build for Energy Aura. You would likely have to redo everything anyways.
SG: Guadians of Paragon - VG: Paragon's Darkness
The Usual Suspects: Fimboolvetr (Icer Tank), Tsukiyomi (Mind/Psi/Ice Dom), Smiting Dragon (Dm/Sr Scrap), Widow Mortis (NW)
Up and Comers: Ameterasu (Km/Reg Scrap), Arrhymian (Elec/Nin Stalk), TDMKII (Bot/Traps MM)
Your wasting a lot of slots and slotting for a lot of crap in that first build. Second build is a little better, but not by much...
If I had a WM/EA I would do this build.... Pop 5 Doctored Wounds in Conserve Power and the LotG Proc, Def, Def/Rech, Efficacy Adapter End Mod/Rech in Energy Drain.
*edit*
Ok, so I some how forgot to post the build, and have since cleared without saving >.>....
Your character does not have capped defense. Depending on your AT the cap is between 175% - 225%. Your defense is not teal in the combat window, it can go higher. STOP SAYING IT IS CAPPED! The correct term is Soft Cap.
I enjoy playing in Mids. I specialize in Melee Characters, other AT's usually bore me.

My em/ea brute still hasn't been deleted, yet. I think I shall keep him long enough to check out the numbers in game when the changes are made live. Quite excited.

Anyway, I agree with you, we don't have percentages on the recharge number per mob the new taunt aura will give, how much it will be worth enhancing it, as well as the defense Energy Drain will provide too. The only 'given' for my broot (Pretty Strong, obviously he's WM/EA lol - I was gonna make him my soloer of crazy stuff, but now with the new buffs it won't be funny to show /EA doing crazy things because imo the changes might put /EA in a very good place among the other armors (depending on the numbers of course) is putting 5 doctored wounds in Energize like on my Stone/Elec (I don't like abbreviations btw - like writing SM/ELA, here in Brazil we are not fans of using these for many things, like we don't have an equivalent to IMHO, YMMV, etc, I guess it's mostly an American thing since my friends who moved to the States use those all the time on the internets after a few years).

As for the second build. . . I prefer that build but it is definitely a little priceier.
Wasted slots as in, 5 Reactive Armor in Tough, only need 4. is .63% fire/cold def really helping you?
Multi Strike instead of Eradication. .94% Fire/Cold/Smashing/Lethal defense really worth that?
6 Slotting Pulverize with Razzle Dazzle, Jawbreaker with Mako's, Clobber with Touch of Death, Gausians in build up.
5 slots of recharge in hasten.
Botz set, nothing in stamina or health, no heal in Energy Drain.
After the buff to EA, I would 4 slot Energy Drain like I mentioned in above post, and also slot Energize with 5 Doctored wounds.
Much better to use your ST melee powers to get S/L defense and +HP with Kinetic Combats, PBAoE powers slotted with Eradication's and 2 Sirocco's Dervishes for Energy/Negative defense, +HP and extra Regen, and resistance powers with 3 Aegis for Fire/Cold defense, as well as taunt slotted with Mocking Beratement, like you did. (which, oddly enough, Beratement is not a word, you can Berate some one, but you can not use it as an Adverb. Looked it up when spell check was angry at me... )

/EA is kinda easy to softcap. This build is softcapped to s/n/l/e/n/f/c at level 25 (since now you get to keep your powers up to 30 if you exemp). I didn't even use those expensive Kinetic Combats.

You can even go overboard, just pretend that insted of Taunt I took Entropy Shield since it will be a Taunt aura (49.9% s/l, 47.1% f/c, 56.9% e, 47% neg, 20.6% psi and a cool 25.6% ranged to help with psi - all at level 25 too):
EDIT - meh forgot Taunt auras don't take taunt sets, it's still doable since I placed BU at 10 (since you can only take Taunt at 12) and you can put Entropy there and keep Taunt at 12.

You will be sucking wind and needing lots of blue candy. Eradications are also fairly expensive. But nice work, Kioshi-san.

I was reading through the changes for EA coming down the pipeline, as well as the WM/EA thread about being strong and pretty, so I dusted off my own and have been working out a couple builds.
Now I need help. Which build looks better to all of you?
I will likely drop off Tactics to pick up the heal with the upcoming changes but I am just wondering which will be more functional. Should I go with the higher overall numbers on defense (#1) or stick with the slightly lower numbers with better buffs (#2)
