Ok well for me i Pri play Villians. So not much is known about heroes but recently i found out that i only have about a year left to play the game. I sifted through all the forums looking for some stuff but everything is to far out. I know for PvP people say that it won't work well as well all know that's been said a BILLION times but we will see.

Idea for the build.........

Stealth,Ranged,Fast,ACC (DEF if possible)

I want to be a blaster that is well not well know that is around but has good ACC pri.
I know i'm going to take fly so maybe i can do the Hover Blaster i've been hearing about. So if anyone can help me with a good build that would be amazing.

Also can someone explain to me what a "soft cap" is lol.

Just recently after everything has been running AWESOME this happens the game crash's and this is what i get plz tell me how to fix this problem if you can please.

It was maybe 1 or 2 mintues but it move really slow. At one ponit i was halfway done and then my internet shut off it. It was started at 534 then reset itself when i pulled it back up after reconnecting and downloading slow as all get out (were i'm at internet blows) but when i started it back up it was back right at 534 on that PIGgs maps or what ever it says.


Secondly would it be better to download from the site.

Well i recently got a mac and i don't have to tell you that its completely up to date. Everything runs smooth until the updater comes up. IT goes straight to the "Downloading file manifest thing. Never had to deal with that on the PC so if someone can walk me through fixing this it would be greatly appreciated and i mean GREATLY!!!!!!!! FYI new to macs so just laman terms for me. Plz help

Dark/cold works magic. I've teamed with virus many of times and he can beat the living snot out of any AT basically. I personally watched him take down a regen no problems with that toon.

Feugan nicely put and for the other two that think i'm not serious bring a toon on Guardian anytime and i'll prove it to you. Just like stated above STALKERS PICK THERE BATTLES!!!! I don't die because i'm not DUMB. I phase i run and i poke and i prode. I play like a villians if your attacking Pill Boxes and your health is below half you bet i'm coming for you hence the phrase assassin or STALKER. Its open pvp your in the zone you see the timer its all fair. And mac i'm no noob i've been playiing the game since it came out. I brooke off a little after issue 4 when my account was stolen. Then came back right before issue 7 then left at i13 cause i joined the service. SO i've been around the block to. I'm caught up now on everything and my stalker has been rebuilt to face the new Challanges of pvp. If you want to be apart of that challange come on over to Guardian we can film it if you like!!! Agreed just learn to play. Its PvP your either good or you stink . They do it because they are trying to stay alive. The thing we all do. Create your build accordingly. I agree with Mac kill em when they come out. For me AS bam and something else i don't know lol. BUT KILL WHEN THEY COME OUT.

Me and Sentry seem to think a lot the same. EXP stalkers and not heroes who COMPLAIN constantly about Stalkers anyway. DM Me personally i would stay away from hit. To much DOT for a stalker if you know what i mean. But its all in how you make it work. For me i beleive NIN is the best secondary. And i know some faces just did the deer in the headlights look... Let me explain. Nin in my opinion is good for the fact that it opens a lot of options for other power. Because the nin toys are usless. Def for a stalker is useless lol. Just Hiber or phase to make your getaway. Focus should be on pwer so if it pwer you want i say go Nrg or BS. Overall opinion I'd stay away from DM for stalkers.

Wow i like this guy lol. Like I said before Stalkers are still around. My VG loves to have me in RV. I get buffed like a freaken Brute and just run through everything. My toon is finnaly IO'd completely from the help of my Villian Group (Devils Own) and even soloing i still make an impact. Nrg/SR works wonders. All my focus went into my DMG and its crazy with 4 sets of Mako's Bite. Plus Hecatombs in my A.S.. And 3 full sets of Redfortunes and a set of LOG have had some sick results. For the first time ever as a stalker I 3 shot a Regen Scrapper

1) Build UP
2) As
3) Total Focus
4) Energy Transfer

And it was done. I went right through his moment of glory. It was amazing. He then sent me a tell saying that was sick. He didn't even have time to react because of the stun that smacked him in between total focus and energy transfer.

I agree with most of you its how you play your toon. I personally beleive that any toon can be great and powerful if you know what your doing. It takes time and (Inf lol) to learn your toon. It takes months or weeks of time of getting your butt handed to you to figure out what needs to be fixed. Are stalkers powerful Heck yeah but all stalkers will agree with me when i say its ALL WE HAVE. Outside hide were open targets. The only thing that drives me up the wall are inexp. PvPers who die by a stalker and SPAM there hearts away on how unfair it is. At least we still have Heroes/Villians who die with dignity.

I don't agree with that statement. My stalker has put down some heavy toons. Its all in how the stalker plays. Can they stand toe to toe and fight prolly not. I like stalkers becasue there fun. We dish our dmg and leave. People get mad but oh well its all we have cause we can't fight toe to toe it would be impossible i say if you role a stalker go all out DMG DMG DMG DMG you always have hibernate or more important phase to save yourself and get out of there. This has made me almost unbeatable in RV on guardian server and my pvp rep is high. Its all in how you play the toon and how you want to play.

If it is for Heroes its a good build if everything is slotted right. Stakers hate Regens. If its for stalker side STAY AWAY.
For stalkers regend doesn't work out to good.
I have Spine/nin and Nrg/Sr
Nin is good and it opens up some holes for good picks for pwers. Basically the toys in Nin are worthless for pvp.

I am Deployment and I recently returned to playing the game and i haven't played since i13 so i'm all updated and wondering what MAJOR changes were made. I read over them but i'm still wanting to know the HIGHS and Lows for the toons MAINLY whats affecting VIllians the good and the bad. Your help would be much appreciated.

I am kind of interested in claws and would like to know of a good general build for a claw scrapper. So any advice would be awesome.

Ok all theses suggestions are really good. The only thing that tears me up is the talk about stalkers being to strong. But when you think about it thats all we got..... You got to play smarter not harder. Stalkers don't get killed easily cause there not stupid. My only issue as a NRG/SR stalker is i don't fight head to head. Because i know i'm going to lose. Most stalkers know this and would agree with me. We make up in dmg cause our def really does hurt. Regen scrappers are my worst enemy my only hope is a fast kill which does mean popping some heavy reds plus build up. Blasters hurt BAD tanks are annoying and regen scrappers are hard to. For stalkers its all about us picking our targets. EVERY STALKERS KNOWS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE COME OUT OF HIDE. I'll let you know a secret..... that is the secret get us out of hide!!!!!!!!! Then we are sitting ducks plain and simple.

I recently came of deployment with the good ole USN lol and i haven't been on in about a year and a couple of months. I'm finally starting to catch up on all the changes but still got a ways to go. I really enjoy pvping with my stalkers the one i'm running right now is a nrg/sr and all my IO's at the time were good and i was pwning all sorts of people. But now there are IO's everywhere and i was wondering what could be done to improve my stalker for pvp. My focus is Dmg not def so more on the nrg side would be awesome. Currently in my pri powers.
I forgot the names of some so i'll try my best lol.

1) 2nd power in set
2) 3rd power in set
3) total focus
4) power transfer
5) build up
6) AS

For travel i have
Hasten and Super Speed (hurdle for jumping works nice with it)
Hurdle, health, stamina

Hide+stealth+phase

***note some are telling me to drop that and pick up hibernate but i'm not a stay and fight kind of person i like to do my dmg and get out.

So any help on good IO's and Sets to improve overall power would be awesome.
