I generally agree with Johnstone about representing a great experience in your life. Even if it is only fleeting. I've never considered getting a COH tatoo, although it would probably be more fitting than any of my other ideas.

Facial tatoos are just not a good idea. As are tatoos that can't be completely covered. Not because they need to be hidden but because it looks bad when they are only peeking out from your waist band or whatever.

I think working in references to COH to a larger tattoo is a good plan, putting the hero star in the eye of a koi, the arachnos spider emblem is a really well done iconic spider, but I think most people would just think it was a spider unless they were knowledgeable of the mmo verse. In which case you share a knowing smile with that person and move on.

Personally, I'd go digging through the badges or power icons, to find somethig good. And there is no reason you can't make it your own. change the colors shapes and balance to make it your own and give it more meaning.

If you are a teacher you could use the mentoring badge. If you want something to represent your strength to overcome obstacles, hardship, loss, addiction, you can use the debt or damage badges to build a tattoo that has lots of meaning. If someone asks you can explain what meaning you gave it and ignore where it came from if you don't think that would make the right impression.

I feel like I've seen a lot of these pieces before, are they pencils that have been inked?

I have a new soviet themed character named Roxy Roulette. Who was sent to Praetoria by a shady group seeking to gain intel on this interesting new ... place ... but early portal tech in the Union was unstable and she ended up in present day praetoria. I'll try and get pictures but win7 is win7 and i haven't been able to take a decent screen in months.

The summers always yield a lot more action as has been the way for seemingly the past 5 years or so. I'm usually around every night just voice yourself, I make no gurantees but I'll do my best.

So long before praetorian earth there was this place called the shard. With an enemy group that was/is quite powerful.

So my question is what is so special about primal earth? Why is it that fighting those particular people is the only way to become incarnate?

From a story standpoint there really is no difference between the shard and ppraetorian earth. There's a portal and some stuff on the other side. Same with the rikti. Although there isn't a portal to the home planet...not all the time anyway.

Don't get me wrong preatorian earth is interesting but there are other places that could be enhanced with new content, that fit thematically.

I gotta agree here. The radio missions are pretty lack luster now. I still believe that tips would have worked their way into the radio/paper system quite nicely. Supplying a tenuous story arc to radio and paper missions would be a great way to liven them up. Really it shouldn't be too hard to write up some single mission stories with a good one liner or a little intrigue. Just because it's filler doesn't mean it has to be carp.

I've only got the +1 effect so it's not that big a deal for me, however I could see where you would want to know what level you are. without finding a baddie or what not. If it doesn't hurt and somebody fines it useful why not.

Screw what the devs think ought to be right. I hate respeccing. So much so that I'd sooner roll a new toon than deal with the lack of functionality in the respec system. Redo the whole thing and make it easier for idiot players like me (which make up sizable portion of the player base, the ones that are here to have fun and be free of planning and stress) I don't want to use an outside program not supported by Paragon studios to fine tune my build.

All the functionality that the respec provides allows you to say "oops screwed up that one power slotting" maybe two. But it can't even do that one reslot right because you have to rebuild everything from scratch. What if my toon is 5 years old and I don't remember what slots I added at level 5. The system knows what it is because when i go to oro it takes everything away that i didn't have at level 5. But the system is incapable of telling me.

I don't know if I like your idea OP butIi know SOMETHING needs to be done. And I'm the customer, I'm right.

If they are weak and useless buff them. No power should require another power to be effective. A power can become more effective via another power but should not rely on it. No matter what omega and the other inc slots turn out to be it still means that a lot of people are going to have to "deal" with a useless power until they get a higher tier inc slot.

I don't know any 8 year olds that buy a breathalyzer so they can use it when they turn 21 to see how drunk they are.

I'd prefer they just have the temps pop up in a "+" tray I've got three trays full of powers and a 4th that I use for random stuff (6 or 7 during halloween so i can change between costumes) It would be nice if those temp powers would pop into that "+" tray rather than being relegated to the power list which is exceptionally full.

Come on over to the art forum and I'm sure one of the gurus there can fix you up with a hot new icon. Really though, Paragon Studios can't do a whole lot about the NCSoft distributed icon. >_>

So long as it isn't something they had made which seems to be the case. I believe that would constitute a breach of the EULA. But I'm not a lawyer. Ebay isn't likely to play fast and loose with the personal information of a user that is in good standing with them at least.

The great sea of the internet. I remember in HS a friend of mine put together a runescape website made a bunch of custom icons and gifs and what not. He was browsing another guys website and pop there's his gif and a bunch of his work. He was typing so furiously that the teacher pulled the plug on his computer. Anonymity on the internet is really empowering to some people.
