There is a current one, unfortunately it's not very active...
Hero Studios is the name of the SG
Forum 606 is the chat channel...
The VG is Rogues Gallery I think...

Hmmmm I think the Envisionaries was made up entirely of just artists (it was before my time on the forums so I could be wrong though).
If that is what BAS is proposing, I don't think it wouldn't be quite the same thing as Hero Studios is.

Everyone is free to /chanjoin forum 606. There's usually someone online there that can get you an invite to one of the SGs. I think the VG is "Gallery of Rogues" though I could be mistaken, even though I'm the one that came up with the name.
I'm not much of an artist, but I'm in the Envisionaries (Liberty) with Expressionist. (I can never bring myself to duplicate a character any more.)

I'm not on Liberty as much, save to transfer money... I have 4 new toons on Virtue:
1) Agent Prada - dual pistol blaster (my supermodel government agent)
2) Terracotta Warrior - sword/shield scrapper (Chinese sculpture come to life)
3) Teen Angie - fire/fire tank (your basic 4ft, Catholic school girl with wings)
4) T-170 - assault rifle blaster (my Terminator clone)
They're all under 10th, and I play them as my mood changes... which is A LOT, but it's always better playing with someone. Also don't forget VexXxa does those Friday night costume missions...

How about putting together an ingame event and invite people here. It's been done before (do a thread titles search for the word CannonBrawl

We've been around for a tad over a year, if not longer. Most of us have toons in both groups, but have since created alts and have joined other groups on a variety of servers. So now what we do is announce in the 606 channel if any 606ers wants to join in missions or TFs. If anyone does, then they all meet up on which ever server and have fun!
So BAS, you are welcome to join both the SG and VG, which are both fully operational with portals to all zones, and the 606 channel. And then have a total blast with all the nutty people!
As for my Friday Night TFs. I usually announce what the mood for the Friday fun will be on Wednesday or Thursday in my "In The Mood" thread. I usually have a handful of 606ers and fill the rest of the spots with puggers. You are welcome to join any time as well as anyone else who would like to.

Man I miss the envisionaries...
That was a lot of fun when we all had a chance to play together, which wasn't that often.
I'm still around though mostly on Justice these days. If you don't have me in your friends list....why the hell not?

The summers always yield a lot more action as has been the way for seemingly the past 5 years or so. I'm usually around every night just voice yourself, I make no gurantees but I'll do my best.

Working on a new Kinetic Melee/Regen Scrapper version of LJ on Justice. Bas was kind enough to run some missions with me, I think I leveled every mission from 4-7 with him...
Might have to redo my alt marker LJs on the other servers now. Did someone mention Union?
I think someone mentioned it in Christopher Robin's thread, "Mergers and Acquisitions"...

I know a while back some arties started up The Envisionaries as a supergroup for all of us on the SSFA boards. I was wondering if this is still around, and if not, I propose that we make a revamped supergroup. With the merging of the servers, I thought this would be a perfect time.
Anyone else interested? Even though I am not too familiar with many of you, I'm trying to get more involved, and I'd love to team up with you all.
